May Exercise Challenge
How will you frolic during the merry month of May? Join our month-long festival of exercise and fitness.
State your exercise goal and track it throughout the month with this supportive group of fellow exercisers. We'll compile our workout goals into a list. My May goals:
1300 minutes of exercise 21 days with 8000 or more steps 8 strength-training sessions |
Goals: 900 minutes dance, 500 minutes cross training

Well, since I've now switched to mostly running for cardio, I think I'll set a miles goal (though I am totally pulling it out of thin air!) and a cross training goal. I also need to increase my strength training, so...

I think I will set an exercise goal this month. I am real good about getting my 45 minutes of cardio in Monday through Thursday but struggle with the rest of the week. Soooooo, my goal will be to at least get 45 minutes of cardio in 5 days a week.

Since I am about to meet my goal for April, I am upping my goal for this month! It is a challenge after all :) I am determined to start going to the gym again. Hopefully 2-3 times per week, 30 minutes at a time. That should add 360 minutes to my month; and this month I hope not to skip a week+ of walking; keep walking 5-6 per week.

I guess I'll set my monthly goal to support going to group fitness classes: I don't go to the gym any more on my own because I tend to just kind of mickey mouse around and that doesn't do anything lol.
My goal is to complete at least 26 group fitness classes in May. I typically go to cycling classes (45 min+), yoga (75 min +), and barry's bootcamp (60 min). |
