November Weight Loss Challenge
Who else wants to greet the holiday season and the new year with a lower weight? Now's the time to make it happen!
State your goal and track it throughout the month with a supportive and encouraging group. We will compile our goals into a list. I liked being part of this last month, but I think this time I will make a more realistic goal.

Woohoo! I'm in! Thanks Joy! Well, I've rounded back up to 183 this morning, and no telling which way it will fluctuate from here, so I'll use 183 as my starting weight. I want to lose 6 lbs. I seem to be on target with that amount, so I'll stick with it. I have a big mini-goal coming up, so I really hope November is kind to me and allows me to get there! :crossed:

Did not make goal in October. My own fault , a lot of little indulgences add up. Hoping to see a new decade this month. Good luck all!!

I didn't quite make goal in October. I had set a goal of 7.4 lbs. and lost 6.6 lbs. which is not too shabby. I was almost there then I gained 0.6 lb. right at the end. I had a URI and had sick grandkids at home so I was complacent about staying on plan. This month I am going to set 5.8 lb.s as my goal which will put me at 189.0
My start weight is: 194.8 My goal weight for Nov. 30 is: 189.0 I want to lose: 5.8 lbs. 11-1 194.8 11-2 DNW 11-3 194.4 11-4 193.8 :) (-1.0) 11-5 193.4 11-6 194.0 NO! I ate a hamburger/fries in a moment of weakness.:devil: 11-7 193.2 11-8 194.0 Dang it! No reason for this that I know! Water weight? 11-9 193.2 11-10 193.6 11-11 191.8 So good to see you again WHOOSH FAIRY! 11-12 DNW 11-13 193.2 Monday's weigh-in a fluke? 11-14 192.8 (-2) The month is half gone and only down 2 lbs.:?: 11-15 191.6 (3.2) :) 11-16 DNW 11-17 192.6 :( 11-18 191.6 11-19 191.4 11-20 190.4 (-4.4) :D 11-21 189.2 (-5.6) 11-23 188.4 :D SMASHED my GOAL!!! Count me in! Im still working on my first goal since i started..so I will continue with that until I reach it. Im almost there! Then the new goal comes:)

Despite a difficult month, I made my Halloween goal with a tenth of a pound to spare! So I am more than ready to keep the momentum going in November.

I'm in! November and December are going to have lower goals than I've done in the past because I have a lot more functions and have less control over what goes in the food. I'll probably ramp it back up in January. Plus this is getting harder the lower I get!!!

I am going to join here this November for the first time... I have lost close to 2.5 lbs only last month but I was very stressed last month that I couldnt stick to my plan well..
Its a new month and a new start.. So I am going to commit myself to stick to my plan in a much better fashion this month.. SW: 185.6 GW: 182 (Just -3.6) Happy GW: 179 (move out of the 180s or touch 180 atleast... been in it for over a month now :( ) Thanks for starting this and hope this thread is really interactive.. I will come in sometime later and set up a format that I can fill in with the progress... Happy losing everyone! |

SW: 315.1 CW: 282.4 GW: 272.4 November start weight: 280.8 First Days 11/1: 280.8 11/2: 279.8 ---------------- End of week weight: 279.8 Weekly loss: 1lb Week One 11/3: 279.8 11/4: 277.9 - I don't understand why I do this. I'm one weight for a couple days and then loose a large amount. Followed by a standstill or a gain.... so strange! 11/5: Las Vegas - No weigh in 11/6: Las Vegas - No weigh in 11/7: Las Vegas - No weigh in 11/8: Las Vegas - No weigh in 11/9: 279.8 - Not to bad after a few days in Las Vegas! ---------------- End of week weight: 279.8 Weekly loss: 0lb Week Two 11/10: 279.4 - Starting my downward trend again. Yay! 11/11: 279.2 - I need to drink more water. I have been very dehydrated and I think I am retaining a lot of water. 11/12: 279.2 - Same as yesterday... better than a gain! 11/13: 278.0 - Finally looks like the water weight is coming off! 11/14: 277.0 - Goodbye water weight hello fat loss! 11/15: 276.8 - Finished my first day of the c25k workout! I'm loving it! 11/16: 276.4 - Yes! I love seeing the scale move down! I am so sore today however! ---------------- End of week weight: 276.4 Weekly loss: 3.4lbs Week Three 11/17: 277.0 - Yuck! I hate it when I go back up! 11/18: 277.0 - Two days in a row... 11/19: 277.2 - I think I figured out the reason for my gains..... I just started running and TOM came for a visit. 11/20: 277.0 - Hopefully this shows I'm going to start going down again. 11/21: 277.6 - I am frustrated today! I am up AGAIN and, I need to run today.... in the cold and the rain!!! 11/22: 275.4 - WooHoo! Over night the weight started falling again! 11/23: 276.8 - Dang it! ---------------- End of week weight: 276.8 Weekly loss: -.2 Week Four 11/24: 275.2 - UP, Down, UP, Down... it's like a merry go round... 11/25: 274.6 - Down again! Yay! 11/26: 274.0 11/27: 273.0 11/28: 272.8 11/29: 273.6 - Whoops! I thought I was being good! 11/30: 272.8 ---------------- End of week weight: 272.8 Weekly loss: 2.4 Final November weight: 272.8 Total November loss: 8lbs |
Count me in again too. I didn't make my goal in October, but I still lost, which was good. (My original goal for that first challenge was 11.6#--- err... no).
I'm going for around what I did loss in Oct, which was about 6 pounds. SW: 195.2 GW: 189.2 Yuppers, mark me down for 6 pounds!!! :hug: MrsKevin And, once again I will be having just weekly weigh ins, not daily like some others. My starting weight as of Nov. 1 will be recorded tomorrow and continue on Thurs and/or end of the month, however that falls. |
