I already posted this in my five pound challenge but there was a faint line on my pregnancy test!!!! Fingers crossed! I had a miscarriage 7-8 months ago so keeping everything on the down low for a bit. Hope things work out. It's really early so waiting another week before starting all the doctor stuff- waiting for a darker line! Lol

I gained 1.4 lbs this morning which was less damage than expected. My colleagues and I have once again managed to drink and eat from 5 PM till 11 PM. We're latin ; we talk and laugh loudly, drink wine like it's water and we loooove food!
I was down a 0.5 lb this morning, but I still have a ways to go to lose 2%. I have to drop out of this challenge, since I leave for Europe on an early-morning flight tomorrow. I will join the next challenge when I'm home in a few weeks. Good luck to everyone in the meantime!

Have fun in Europe, Tuscany! I grew up over there, I miss it. Where are you going?
I will first go to England, since my daughter lives there. She's doing her PhD at Oxford University and, next year, she and her fiance are getting married and the wedding will be in Siena, Italy. So, while I'm over there, we will be going to Siena for five days in order to deal with wedding planning. That will include meeting with the caterer for a tasting. Safe to say I won't be on plan that day!! I suspect we'll be doing lots of walking, and I hope that makes up for a few indulgences on the food end of things. If I can simply maintain while away, I'll be happy...and if I happen to put on a pound or two, I will hit the decks running when I get back and take them right back off again!
I was born in England and lived there until I was almost a teenager, whereupon we came to Canada. Where did you grow up?
I was hoping for a whoosh this am, and it did not happen. I was just not hungry and only consumed 800 calories yesterday and LOTS of water. I feel bloated (my rings feel tight). So maybe all this water will leave today?
