  • September is a great month for setting goals and meeting challenges as things gear up for fall. What are your weight loss goals for the coming month?

  • This is my favorite thread, so I'm definitely in again. I will be in Europe for 2 weeks in September, during which time I hope to maintain. In the other 2 weeks, I hope to lose 1.5-2.0 lbs each week, which translates into 3-4 lbs for the month of September. This morning, I was 147.75. So, I'll shoot for 3.75 lbs, which would put me at 144.0 lbs by the end of the month. I'll be very happy to get down into the lower half of the 140's!

  • I am going at it strong this month. I am visiting my sister in November who I haven't seen in a couple of years and would love to drop 15 lbs before I see her. Therefore, my weight loss goal for the month of September is -8 pounds.

  • I'm gonna aim for 5 lbs this month(well 5.2 to shoot for an even number) and start with thursday's low weight since I know I'm currently bloated.

    I want to enter a new weight decade by the end of the month. So my goal will be almost 7 pounds for the month. A little ambitious but since I still have a lot to lose it should be doable. As long as the scale knows how I will punish it if it doesn't cooperate, all will be good.

  • I'm in! I'm eight weeks and one day to a family trip, want to be 16lbs down by then.

    My goal is 8lbs down.

    Sara! You're doing it right! As we go along, you can keep updating your weight loss progress on the first post that you just made by editing it each time, or you can do as most of us do and create new post(s) each day to update your progress. You'll see, we're a chatty group, lol! By creating new posts, we can easily keep up with each other's progress and support each other along the way. If you just edit your first post, we might miss your updates. Do what feels comfortable for you though! Good luck!

    So since my starting weight is 311.4, I am going to change my goal to be at 300 by the end of the month!
