My starting weight for this challenge is 261. By the end of the month I would like to see 255 or better.:D

I'm going for 3 pounds in April and today's weight already has me moving in the right direction. Just ignore that I was sick yesterday and didn't eat much.

So frustrated! Was PERFECT the last two days, working out 45 mins each day and only eating 1200 calories and I GAINED a pound! I wrote down everything I ate (because I know when I don't I tend to eat little bits here and there that add up to a lot) and my workout, so I know for sure that I did everything I was supposed to. I have definitely found that now that I'm passed 40 it is much harder to lose weight. Any suggestions?

RVA, you're smart to set your goal to something achievable -- I know that when I set unreasonably high targets for myself I get derailed when I don't meet them (even when I know starting out it isn't likely. 6lbs is a very respectable loss in a single month.

Bethann, it's most likely a natural fluctuation. I know that I can go up and down by 3lbs in a single day depending on when I weigh. If you stick to the plan then you'll definitely start to see results.

I'd love to join the challenge if it's not too late?
I'm training for an 8k, working out and I'm on phase 1 of the south beach diet. My goal is to get into my 120's by April 19th! (My daughter's 2nd birthday) I haven't seen the 120s for 3 years now!!
