April 1st Challenge
April 2nd is significant to me because it's the Blue Jays home opener and I want to be more comfortable in those little seats than I was last season. It is also a hard climb up to the nosebleed bleachers and last year I was very out of breath. In Toronto, April is also when the lighter coats come out and the clothes get less bulky.

April is our annual family trip to Disney on Ice we always have so much fun but each year I shell out for rink side seats because the view is great but also because the cheaper seats are smaller and my butt doesn't fit. I would also like to be able to sit in the middle of the row and not the end of the row so I know people can get past me. *sigh*
So my goal... drop 17lbs (god i hope I can do it) SW 297 GW 280 I am hoping that setting the small goals will help me reach my bigger goal. We will see. I will check in Feb 1st :) |
I love this! I made my long-ish term goals today and stopped at April 15th! I currently weigh 201 and aim to be 190 when I go for vacation February 22nd. I want to rock that bikini! I want to maintain while I am away, and then make it to 180 by mid April. So, I am aiming for 21 lbs by April 15th :D WOO!!!
Great thread! And I am from Toronto originally too and yes- those seats are tiny. I can't wait to hear about how you celebrate the home opener! |

I'm going to aim big and try for 25pounds just cause I'm at the beginning of my journey and I know I can do it. I used to get discouraged if I didn't see large numbers but not anymore, so I know it won't start a binge/slide if I don't make it. SW 250 CW 250 GW 225 |
Hi, I'd like to join! April means Springtime! And Shorts! And Sunshine and Happiness! I'd like to greet Spring with a healthier and lighter body! I'd like to aim to lose 8 pounds in both February and March, so 16 lbs by April 1st!

April is when I return home to the UK and want to do it in style!
As I'm not weighing at the moment, I'm making mainly NS victories, by April 1st I want to have finished the 30ds and ripped in 30 dvd's and to see a tangible difference in my before and after photos! I want to be comfortable in my bikini on my beach holiday before I come home, and when I arrive back to the UK somewhere around teh 14th, I want to weigh in at less than my old lowest weight of 168, which I know now I'm above, I'd love to be a lot below, but I'll take anything for now! Great thread, I'll pop back in once a week or so to check in and see how everyone's getting on! Today is day 3 of 30 DS, so a long way to go!! Another less likely to achieve goal but I'm going to stick it in anyway, I'd love to be running 5K by then too, but not sure I can really train for that here, but I'll try! |

Mmmm....not really. BUT - it's 2 months out and I have 15lbs left for my (maybe) goal and I'd really, really like to "Get'er done" so to speak. So, yeah, let's finish this by April 1!

I was 243 this morning - I'm going to try for 229 on this one and hope that I can do even better. I like to pick goals I feel like I've got a reasonable chance of meeting, maybe even beating, rather than making them a little tougher to get to at the start.

Hey guys, I just found this and would like to join. April 1st is actually my anniversary with my fiancé and I'd love to be 10 pounds down. I'm about 5 pounds from the lowest weight he's ever seen me!!

This is great I was looking for a challenge group to keep me on track. April marks warmer weather and 3 months til my daughters wedding. I started on my own 4 weeks ago and Im down 21 pounds .. My weigh in day is Wed.

I'd like to join in. I have been gaining lately, and not watching what I eat after 5 pm. I have been working out 4 days a week, but need to up that to 5. And I definitely need to control my night eating. The first week in April is my Spring Break (I work in an elementary school). I'm not going anywhere, just want to fit into all of the beautiful clothes I haven't been able to wear for the past 3 years. I've gained 30 lbs in 3 years. My goal for this challenge is to lose at least 12 lbs (reach 183 or less). Will weigh in on Mondays.

I think I'm going to weigh in on Tuesdays for no real reason than I need to pick a day and today is Tuesday!
The last 10 days have been odd for me. My weight usually fluctuates a bit daily but last week I had 6 straight days of weighing 192 then I started yo-yoing again, but with fluctuations of up to 4 pounds a day. I haven't really changed anything and it isn't TOM so I'm not sure what's going on. I was down again today and I'm hoping to stay down. SW: 192.4 CW: 191.0 GW: 182.4 |

OK, it's been another week and I am still 269. All I can say is at least I didn't gain!!
Current= 269 April 1 goal= 255. This is really going to take more effort. I am going to try to do better this week and get it in gear! :D |
