First of all, congratulation on hitting your 20-pound mark! Originally Posted by stlrsgrl43

I asked him On Mon if I should be doing more and he told me that I should only do 30 minutes of cardio at a time because after 30 minutes, your body wil start using your muscle instead of your fat for energy. He said that you can do as many 30 minute sessions in a day just shouldnt go too much over 30 minutes at one time. So I decided to dig out my wii fit board (which has been in storage for a year & half) and i went out and bought the fit plus. Fit plus is way cooler than fit. I figure I can walk on the treadmill in the morning like I always do and burn a few calories in the evening playing around with the wii. I would also like to add that my PT is in the process of going to school for physical therapy so he is knowledgable about the body. And on a side note.... I hit my 20 pound mark
Now, about what you PT told you about not going over 30 minutes with aerobics or you'll start burning muscle...I wonder if you could ask him why the trainers on Biggest Loser have the contestants training aerobically for hours at a time if he feel this to be true. Because by the end of the season, most of those men and a lot of the women have lots of added muscle. Don't get me wrong, I hate doing aerobics and usually don't do over 30 minutes at a time myself. I'm just wondering what your PT's thoughts on this matter would be.Fiyah, a big congratulations to you on getting into the 200s!!!
Bye, bye 300s; don't come back now, ya hear?!?I've got my self-cleaning stove on and it's stinkin' up the house. I've got such a headache from the fumes.
You'd think in this day and age they could figure out a way to prevent such strong fumes from this process. Next time I plan to do this I'm making plans to be out of the house for a few hours. Had a great day, as I hope you all did. I was bummed to hear that Davy Jones, my childhood crush, passed away today at 66 years old from a heart attack. RIP Davy.

Please ladies, just keep on keepin on and it will pay off. Now, I need to hear this VERY SAME THING next time I'm hitting a plateau. Which is almost a definite.
XO ladies!
