I love the idea of the weekly "mini challenges!" That will keep things interesting and we may all learn new ideas!!

The timing for this is PERFECT for me... I'm starting hardcore next week (I have a short vacation from Friday - Monday and wanted to start after that). I'm signing up to a gym today!

The timing isn't actually great for me, but I refuse to put off getting back on track any longer!

I've just finished a summer job that was residential and meant eating bad food all the time, and have come back with renewed vigor to get back on plan.

BUT, I go on holiday on 30th for a week n then maybe a long weekend away in September too, before starting uni at the end of Sept. But, I want to be back on plan before I start school so I've no excuses to fall off course.

I'm more than happy to do the stats once a week (apart from the week I'm away) and the rest of it will be shared among everyone taking part, we can take it in turns to 'invent' challenges and things :)

I also need to join a gym, but am putting it off until I'm in the right mindset to know it won't be a waste of money!

I'm in. I'm doing P90X starting Sept 26 and running through the weekend before Xmas, but I've got to start kicking myself into shape now! My goal is to lose at least 20lbs and get down into a size 12 again.

I'm in :) I had hoped to reach goal by Christmas and WOW all the family I haven't seen in a while, but I think it's a bit ambitious. Either way, Christmas is still a landmark! I'll update with this challenge but won't be fully committed til the first week of September when my summer threads wrap up. I'm excited!

Montecristo, I'm doing p90x "lean" (or my version of it). I'm on day 60 today.

OK, so should we do starting weights this weekend or the one after? I'm happy to start now, but appreciate others need longer.

If the majority of people on the sign up list put in a SW between now and Sunday eve I'll collate a list for us to use for the duration of the challenge?

OK, I will make a new thread 'Christmas Challenge Weigh ins' and post it and then put a link from here.

This challenge is going to be long (17 weeks) so it doesn't matter about missing weigh ins here and there, we all know life gets in the way sometimes! But let's all try to be there at the end and see how well we've done!

If people miss the first weigh in or whatever they're still more than welcome to join in. Let's have a weekly chat/ challenge page too where we can discuss how we're getting on, get to know each other and complete different challenges to help meet our goals.

So, on the Weigh In thread, copy and paste the form and re post your own as a reply to the thread, and each week edit your own post to include your new details. Keep chat separate from this to keep it easy to log our losses. I must add a big thanks to KimL1214, most of this is what I've taken from a previous challenge we did and she made all the forms and stuff, so thanks Kim!
