August Exercise Challenge
 
Let's move in August! The monthly exercise challenge thread begins with stating our goals for the month, and then continues with exercise logs as the month progresses.

State your exercise goals for the month of August here. They will be added to our goal list. When your goal is met, it gets turned RED in celebration! Track your progress all month long with a supportive and encouraging group to cheer you.

My August Exercise Goals:

Started C25K program 7/30/11 - Goal is to continue and stay on program.

~Also to get in at least 30 minutes of cardio or weight training every day that I do not run C25K

I still won't have the official OK from my doc to return to exercise until Aug 15, but I'd like to join back up this month. :) For the first half of the month I'd like to get in at least 4 days of walking each week, and for the second half of the month I want to up my exercise to 5 days per week (and get back to some strength training!). So, for August my goal is to exercise a total of 20 days.

Looking forward to the official start of this challenge tomorrow! My August exercise goals :) 1000 minutes
:) run/walks 3x/week

8/1
8/2 40min walk/run AM, 15 min pool walking, 20 min walk in PM
8/3 30 min walk 105/1000
8/4 30 min run/walk, 45 min walk pm 180/1000

Totally new to this forum, but my exercise goals are to do a workout video 3 times per week...ALL MONTH. When put into perspective...that's only 15 days, totally doable! (I'm one of those who will do 5 days the first week...and burn out). Goal this month is to start out steady...and maintain the momentum :)

I've never done this before, but I'll give it a shot!! My goal is to hit the gym 20 days in August and complete a total of 800 minutes .... I think this is realistic for me. It will be tough to increase the number of days, but I am willing to commit to it. My hope is this challenge will help keep me accountable! :D

Starting week 4 of C25K today! Going to continue that (may repeat weeks as necessary)

Goal for August: Walk/Jog 60 miles!

I have a "walking desk" (plank on a treadmill). My goal is to use it an average of 2 hours per day for a total of 3720 minutes (I'm on it right now :) ).

My goals for this month, every week:

1-Continue doing C25k 3 times
2-Do Ripped in 30 5 times
3-Burn above 3000 at least 5 days

Those are not easy, but quite achievable. I can do it!

My goal:

30 minutes of real exercise 5 days/week
Body Pump twice a week
