Didn't get a chance to check in yesterday! Had a crazy day. But managed to fit in an hour of tennis and 30min bike ride. Hit the gym this morning! 45min cardio, 30 resistance intervals. Weight loss pledge for coming week: 1.5kg which is roughly 3.3lbs I think! Hope everyones doing ok! |
Plan for the week:
Stay on food plan - 1400 cal max 30 minute elliptical plus yoga stretches - AM 30 minute walk plus yoga stretches - noon Walk dogs plus weights/abs/step bench plus yoga stretches - PM And finish de-wallpapering! |

MadamB, I am joining you in the Sarge arse-chewing out group.
Gained this week. (2 lbs) It hurts. But not as much as it will hurt when I get my butt-er kicked!! Oh I am sure I can find things to blame this on. But no, if I want it-- If I really want it I have to make it happen! You are so right Resolute in what you said. I have to push myself, want it for myself and get it for myself. You are a motivation for me to push harder! So I am getting off this PC right now, I have laundry going, an apartment that is a disaster and needs cleaned, a beautiful day that I need to take a advantage of and a round of yoga to stretch my legs out. And yes, I am tracking my food again starting today. I pledge another 1.5 lbs for next Sunday. Make it happen Platoon! |

I came up short this week...lost 0.8 lb instead of the goal 1.5 lbs. My body has started playing this mean trick on me where I get a big whoosh one week, then hardly move the next (last week's loss of 3 lbs was clearly the whoosh). So here's hoping I stay true to this new pattern and see a nice whoosh next week. I'll pledge 1.5 lbs again.
I just wanted to share a little side victory from this week because I think it's important to look at non-scale indicators of progress too. My body fat is finally down below 40% for the first time. The scale read 39.9% this morning. That means it's down over 8% from when I started. :D Doing my grocery shopping yesterday I was so happy when I came home and unpacked.....I had so much delicious and healthy food it put a huge smile on my face. My cart was full of produce and dairy and whole foods. See the carrots, mushrooms, giant bag of bell peppers, baby spinach, snap peas, 2 bags of apples, 3 cucumbers, blueberries, bananas, grapes, zucchini, broccoli slaw, and cabbage? So bad week, really bad week, drinking, friends in hospital, sick myself blah, blah blah. Bad part. I kind of didnt watch my eating two much and didnt run two days when I was in bed. Good news. I didnt gain. Still stuck at the same number. Feeling little blah. Dont have much energy but I WILL go for my run today soon as the laundry gets done, my bed gets maid (maybe) I take my vitamins and have breakfast LOL. I NEED to get back into the swing of things. :\ Here we go. I havnt had time to read everyones posts for personals. I see some good work out there. Sarge. I stayed the same, no gain or lose. 2 lbs lost, i met my pledge!!! but i should be reporting with higher numbers... (I think about 3.5 pounds but i ate insanely for the past two days and gained that extra pound and a half back!!! :mad::mad::mad: ) feeling a little bummed out about that:( SO! I pledge to lose THREE pounds next week! heading to hot yoga later in the afternoon with a gf. it's quite nice out, thinking abt going for a quick run ard the park?? |
