Morning Time!
We have some good storm going on over here. Which is fine, just as long as they clear up and hold out for 40 minutes so I can do my run after work. Hear that weather, storm all you want except at 5 pm. I will get off my butt-er Sarge. No fat cat for me! G'Morning Platoon! This PVT has been having a baaaad week already! Sticking to my 'diet' 99% of the time, but as of today, it will be 110%. I had a Diet Coke yesterday, and some sweet n low iced tea the day before, but as of RIGHT NOW, I am eliminating all artificial sweeteners from my diet... Which means... Nothing sweet, at all! The scale just isn't budging this week! I've only been able to do some light to moderate exercise because my lungs KILL me! I WILL make that 4 pound pledge! Sleep has been the bare minimum and I think its hurting me. Its tough getting to sleep at all because of coughing, but once I finally DO, an hour later I've been waking up with nightmares about my youngest son's birth. (It was kinda traumatic- accidental home-birth with NO help) every bad scenario you can imagine, happens in my dreams, so I'm awake for hours at night just trying to calm myself down. Resolute- you're a warrior! I respect that you're not just laying down and getting defeated! You sound a LOT like me when I had my 2nd c-section. I was outside doing laps around the hospital as soon as I got the feeling back in my legs! I don't like being confined to a hospital room! HAPPY BELATED BIRTHDAY RAINBOWMILES!!! ( a compromise can satisfy disagreements.) :) Chesire : LOL cute wallpaper, your motivation and strength comes from within you though, you chose to put the wallpaper there to reaffirm your continued commitment. ;) It's only a gentle reminder. Ahhh, a new day has dawned, it is actually clear skies, i will have to spend most of the day outside to enjoy the suns warmth and the return/renewal of life. Peanutt-- The Holy Trinity of Obesity! I love that phrase! On the salt issue I'll be the first to admit that last week while I was "off base" and eating handfuls of salty chips (yes, there I admit it), my face the next morning looked like I should have changed my screen name to PrincessPuffy! I am/was a salt junkie, and also have to admit that since January 1 I have cut WAY back on it because of how it makes one retain water. Cheshire, SurrogateSarge & MadamGoo --- thanks again for all the visuals. Sarge ran outside this morning. Went a total of 7 miles and made 5 of it without stopping because I kept thinking of raptors and stool covered wrecking balls chasing me! My head is now in the right place for Sunday! Also discovered that the "wind monster" my son speaks of can be your friend because the wind makes it too cold to walk once you're all sweaty! Keep it going troops! Wooshing scale fairies are chomping at the bit to be released! Make sure one makes it to your scale this Sunday! :drill: Sarge P.S. MadamGooey--With all that "humping" you're bound to lose 5lbs this week. Perhaps the BF is over the migraine?!?!?! (Like you say, only funny in our own heads!) |

Got a great workout in last night...on here to kill sometime before heading to the gym as it doesn't re open until noon. Today is going to be an hour of cardio as yesterday I did some strength training. I stepped on the scale and I've already blasted away one pound of the three that I've pledged. Lots of water, water and more water. I also start my new job today. Looking forward to being on my feet! |

Hey all checkin' in today no run for me today I am watching my friend (the same friend who had the huge hangover and was puking every 10 mins) little brother for the day while their mom is at work so my friend can have a vacation this week. Sun and today were my scheduled days to babysit. However, her house is about 1.5 miles from my house and I walk there and back so it isnt totally sans workout. I also plan on taking a walk once he goes to school. I did eat one small piece of pizza today which is of plan (i mean small small like half or 1/3 of a normal slice) but, that is ok because that and my oatmeal are probably all that I will be eating today (they don't have anything besides carbs and sugar in this house and I wont have enough time to go to the store) I should have gone to the store last night but forgot :\ Anyway time to go do homework for me I have a TON of it to do :\

IT WAS A BLAST...breakfast in bed...and a lovely road trip!!! woohoo!! too much good food!! none-the-less...i am still down 3.1 of the pledged 5 so far!! yipeeee!!! gonna make it despite cake and chocolate gelato!! got out and walked 2 miles this afternoon...since i missed my gym day...in the rain!! won't let rain stop me from my pledge sarge sir!!! everyone have a rocking good day!! ps...having some computer issues so if i am awol some, never u mind...i got a new computer for my birthday from my family, so hope to have it up and running before next week! will be out of town this weekend....from friday until....on a secret mission!!! so everyone good luck on the weigh in!! Hey Sarge! Pvt Loco checking in! I started the C25K this week, today was day 2, it seemed easy.. if only it stayed easy haha Tonight I am going to the gym to doing my strength training.. I really love those machines heh
