Welcome newbies!!! I'm not doing so well, I haven't been on but I've been sick, just coming out of it. You would think that would promote some good weight loss but NO! LOL I am however at 199 so my weight starting with a 1 is EXCITING and I'm committing to never weighing over 200 again!
ONLY 10 WEEKS LEFT? EGADS! My goal was to be 170 by memorial day so that's over 3 lbs a week! I'm behind! Better get my tired butt moving! |

:welcome: to all newbies! :high: to all those working hard, checking in, or getting back on the wagon! Me - I need to be honest - I didn't have a great week in terms of food. I don;t think I'll be posting a loss tomorrow. But I'm back on the wagon in a big way, and ready to melt some BUTT-er :) Cleaned out my closet again - and finding that when I buy new clothes, I;m buying them waaaaay too big! It's a weird feeling. I need to go exchange some shirts later. |

As for those who have offered encouragement, I really appreciate it; you have helped me stay on track this week. I had a church activity last night, the food for which consisted of cookies, chips, pizza and donuts. . . I sipped on diet green tea and nibbled on a low-calorie granola bar. I don't think I could have resisted if I didn't know that I'd have to report back to you ladies tomorrow. . . Or today, as the case may be. I'm not certain if I'll be able to be online tomorrow, so I'm just going to post my weigh-in today. I just finished the program last week, but I haven't stopped running. Actually, I am working on increasing my speed during the next few weeks, and then maybe I'll work up to running 10k.

OOPS, I forgot to update my weight yesterday. Probably because it wasn't much of a loss this week. I jumped up to over 200 for most of the week, so I had to work to get that off first :dizzy:. Today I was my ticker weight though so i feel better!
Goal is (185-175) 1/16: 215.8 1/23: 213.6 1/30: 212.6 2/06: 208 2/13: 206.2 2/20: 205.4 2/27: 204.6 3/06: 203 3/13: 199.4 3/20: 199.2 |

I didn't weigh myself over the weekend as TOM came along and I'd figure my body would be hanging on to whatever it could lol. I'm going to the Gyno on Wednesday morning, which means I'll get weighed then. Hopefully I get a nice loss. If not, oh well. My official weigh in is this Saturday anyways. :D |

As for your question about my speed, I am doing intervals of slow and fast running.... My starting "running" speed is 4.5 mph, but I'll do a minute of that and then three minutes at 6.0 mph, gradually increasing my "fast" intervals until I'm running 30 minutes at 6.0 mph. I'll eventually get there =D |
