Well DH and I are working on a schedule for gym and I am going to either going to fit in a couple of extra morning at the gym or do my 30-day shred at home haven't decided which one I will do. Any suggestions?

Well, I came oooh so close to my goal, I lost 9.8 pounds instead of 10. I was totally on-plan, ate clean the whole month, so I wouldn't have done anything different! I'm definitely going to keep weighing daily, it keeps me focused and reminds me every morning of both what's important to me and of my priorities!

Check In Time
I absolutely didn't make my September goal. In fact I gained 4lbs:( It really killed me to changed my ticker and my New Year's goal. September has been a good learning experience for me. I'm a total binger and sugar addict. Once I get going I have a HARD time stopping. I really need to work on staying OP even when stuff around me is crazy :dizzy: Here's to a better October :) |

MyMichelle, congrats on your nearly 10 lb loss! Mystical, I chose gym, but that's because I have kids. It's so hard to do any kind of workout at home with a 15 month old at my feet. Plus the gym gets me out of the house and around new people. I will say the first times I did 30 day shred I ran out the front door feeling like puking. Holy smokes. Good luck in your decision. Susiemartin, I'm the same as you. Total sweet tooth which will usually lead to binging if I'm not careful. Well, stepping on the scale this morning read 233. Not my 10 lb loss goal by any means, but I'm just glad I lost something. Also, I did well on not drinking so much this month. I had a few, but nothing major. Even went 2 weeks without a drink at one point. So all is not lost :) :carrot: Good luck to everyone in October :D |

julie99-Getting control of the alcohol calories is a big one for me also. I would have a glass (or two) of wine every evening if I could but alas it makes me fat. Plus I usually want snacks with the wine also. Part of my vacation weight is definitely tied to some alcohol indulgence. Congrats on getting past it. |

Mystical: If it were me I would probably do something at home to save some time just because it takes me such a long time to get out the door. OMG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Can you believe it I go up this morning and I am at drum roll please........ 199.6 I have waited so very long to see that one on the scale I am so proud. Even though tonight I will be planing a pizza night with the kids only 2 pieces for me and lots water and a salad so hopefully that won't be too much damage LOL... Have a great night I will check in later. At least I have met that goal this month YEAH!

Here's to making October the month of being OP and keeping accountable on this thread! TERAPET-The vaca weight is actually what's killed me all summer. I went on a cruise in June and STILL can't get back to where I was pre-cruise! Okay that sounds SO NOT very encouraging, but I learned my lesson and I gained a crapload more weight than you did, so no worries. You'll bounce back in October for sure! I fell short of goal this month by a pretty good shot. I gained a bit back from last week. So I'm sitting at 5 down. October is a fresh new month to see continued progress. I'm looking forward to it and my post-marathon schedule! |
