Mindy - 176 has been my lowest so far also. There was a point last spring where I had gotten down to 166, but I gained it all back during the summer. I haven't been staying on plan all that well lately, but I just went grocery shopping so hopefully staying OP will be easier.
Well so far today I'm at 841 calories, and have burned 2274 calories. Right now I have 1800 as my max on work days, but I highly doubt I'll eat over 900 calories for dinner. Today was an interesting day at work. It was also sad though. We had to euthanize one of our African Eland. She was extremely old and her body was not operating properly. She was eating the right amount, but her body wasn't processing the food so she was basically starving to death. The interesting part was that I got to help with the necropsy (I was cutting tissue samples from her organs to get tested to see if there was anything else wrong with her). I had never done one of these before so I got an anatomy lesson as we were working, lol. It was kinda disgusting in one way, but very educational. |

I got in a 3.47 run after work. Now its time to shower and eat. I have a few things left to do. Picking up the house, one more time. . .finish packing last minute items. You know. |

On Monday, will someone please start the week 5 post? Thanks. W 64 oz E not much here. I will do extra laps and stairs. I'm leaving right after work so no workout. E 1200 cals. Keeping it as clean as I can today. but we will be eating on the road on the way home. D don't annoy my coworkers by talking vacation plans all day :) Even though I will be on vacation I will still be WEEDing. Just a bit differently. Here it is for the week: W 64 oz per day. Water is very important to me. E I will be walking around d-land everyday, and to and from my hotel. Its not a sweaty workout, but I will be moving. I doubt I will use the fitness center in the hotel, but if I start to crave a run, I may do a quick mile in the morning. E There wont be any calorie counting for me, I am on vacation and I will not follow my calories. BUT I do plan on A~sharing meals with the kids so I dont over eat. B~Get fruit or veggies whenever possible, there are much healthier options now D Have fun. Dont overplan. Dont think about the miles I will have to run to burn off all the cals I consume :) I want everyone to have a wonderful week get in your WEED!!!! |
Hello everyone. Seems odd posting without Jeni in the loop.
JENI - If you somehow check in, I hope you have an AMAZING vacation! :cool: I'm still at 169.4 even though I've been going over my calories somewhat. A cold hit me yesterday - mainly a wicked sore throat. I kissed one of my boys who has a wicked cold on Thursday am - I meant to kiss him on the cheek but he suddently turned his head and I kissed him square on the lips. I could feel the cold germs infiltrating my body. LOL... Kinda surprised that it hit me that quick though. My husband is gone until tomorrow night so I'm holding down the fort. Kasey - I bet you won't gain this summer with your job and all the exercise you do now. Once those next 5 stubbon pounds drop, you'll be on a roll! Mindy - how did the weigh in go? Dawn - rain for you too today? I'm off to make some banana bread from the ripe bananas for my boys. It is actually a Weight Watchers recipe so I could have a slice too! 177.8 today...still not my lowest. Looks like I will not see a loss this month either. Saw some old friends yesterday who were just shocked at my new body. COmpliments all over the place. Too bad I couldn't enjoy them because I am so unhappy about this HUGE plateau. I know I've come a LONG way, but I really want to get off this last 30 pounds and it just ain't happening.
I'm gonna try something. I'll let you know about it once I gt started. |
Just teetering around the 178 mark. Did Shred with my friend today, about 25 min. Used #8 weights and they killed my arms. GOt home and got some news that pissed me off, so I took off from my house and started running. By the time I had worn my frustration down I had run 1.5 miles. Go ahead!!! Piss me off again. LOL!!!
