Welcome Jeanettey! I'm Jeanette or Momto6 so we shouldn't get confused. Great WEED - it's always better to start with what is reasonable. All - Just like I wanted, I am back in the 160's today!! :carrot: Barely (169.7) - but I'll take it! :) I'm really focused - did 31 minutes and 300 calories on my elliptical today already and plan to take a walk right after work with my youngest. He has a special night with Mom tonight while his brothers are with their Dad. Pokey - I'm struggling with exercise commitment as well but I feel like I turned over a new leaf today. In the past when I've succeeded at consistent exercise I've started with 30 minutes on my elliptical every morning except Sunday and then any other exercise at end of my workday like walking outside was bonus. I'm returning to that approach starting today since it worked for me in the past. I can also attest from my past exercise success that once you make exercise a habit, for me, it becomes something I actually enjoy! Kris - Congrats on your loss :bravo: Dawn - you can and will do it! Aaaand, because of that gentle push you gave me, I went to the gym last night and was rewarded with a pound lost this morning. I'm finally 209. I can't even remember the last time I was 209...it's funny how I lost 30 pounds and was so stalled, and now I've lost ONE and I'm at work wishing I could be at the gym right now. So silly.... W: 96 ozs E: church tonight, so afterward, hitting the gym! Thanks Jeni!! :) E: Keeping it lower during the day today, I'm hosting a soup supper with the youth group (I'm a leader) tonight, so I'll be eating some soup for dinner. D: Keep telling myself to keep working out! |
Jeanette~I love getting in my workouts in the morning. I feel energized most of the day!
Pokey~ I'm so glad you made it to the gym. (and to 209 :) ) Got 2.5 miles and my class in so far. I am still debating if I am going to go back and do the rest. I'll let you know :). |
Well I'm back down a little this morning, to 177.2. Hopefully I'll be back down to 176 by Friday so that gives me more time to get to a new low weight by Monday. I'm going grocery shopping tomorrow so I'll have tons of fresh healthy food so that I won't have to rely on just what my parents decided to get. Hope everyone has a great day!

Good morning everyone. This week hasn't been my best food wise. The scale is showing it too. And to top it off, I don't know If I am going to get to my workout today. I have so much to do today. My mom decided that She wanted to go shopping yesterday after the doc appt. I am going to start early so if I get enough of an impact done I will head out.

Okay....how is this possible???? After just two work outs, I'm down FOUR pounds, to 206. 48 hours ago, I was 210. Is that realistic, or am I going to put it right back on?

Pokey~It is possible. Chances are you have been retaining water and with your working out you are sweating it out. I put on and lose 4 pounds day to day depending on what I eat. don't expect to lose that fast for very long. Will it come back? maybe, but don't let that get you down, just keep working out and eating right.

Updating~I did make it to my workout. I ended up runing 3.5 miles in 35 minutes. There was a line at the row machine :( so I ended up on the elliptical for 15 minutes Then I did a few weights, but they were crazy too. I will get in some arms and abs soon I hope. I am so glad I went, now it is time to Pack!!!

Kasey- you and I are so similar. I was 178.2 this morning. My lowest has been 176 something. I was hoping to get to a new low this month. It is not looking too hopeful at this point. I just don't know how to bust through this horrible plateau.
Jeni- You are such a trroper. I love how devoted you are, even when life gets hectic. Tomorrow is my official weigh-in. Wish me luck. I did Cardio Max and some jogging tonight. I'm giving it all I've got. |

Its going to be a crazy day. Half normal/half clean cycle~crazy. At least it will go by quickly! Not much to add from yesterday. The kids and I are all packed and ready to go. DH needs to find a couple of things. W 64 oz E 35 minutes if I can. Its my last day to workout before I go, but I have a ton of things to do/check on after work. E1200 clean cals Dtake some last minute me time and workout. |
