This challenge runs from tonight until New Years Day (Fri. Jan 1). :xcheer:

WIs are every Friday. They have to be PMed to me. If you miss two consecutive WIs, I will stop tracking for you.

Im in. here are my goals for this challenge

My sw is 170
goal weight 166
yoga X 2
cardio X2
journey into a new decade

I'm sighing cuz I really want to loose this weight. The doctor wants me to loose 18 total pounds. Lost 7 so far. Go for Lab work 12/2. if my cholesteral and tryglyserides are not down its lipitor, zocor, or crestor. So that said. I am a lady on a mission. I had a cortizone shot in my hip last week, it is really helping my range of motion and pain management.

I need to really work at this goal. I haven't reached any of the G2009 goals this year, but this is my chance to really do it. My weight is lower today than the day before Thanksgiving. I exercised yesterday and did drink some of my water. It helped. Motivated me to repeat exercise and more water today.

Tonight my hubby had a big peice of carrot cake with thick super awesome homemade icing with egg nog ice cream. I didn't touch any of it because I'm so determined to lose weight!!! So I'm all in on this!!!

I know my ticker is off but I figure I won't be at this weight for long. Also, losing 10 pounds in a month is a BIG goal but I'm so tired of being in the 170s I've got to get out of this rut! I've been stuck since June. I'm going to do whatever it takes to lose this weight!!!!

There is a person that I know that has said some really hurtful and mean things about me because of my weight, and this person may see me around Christmas. If she does I want to lose as much weight as possible (in a healthy way of course). This is all about me being healthier, but it would be an added bonus to show this certain person that I can be healthy and fit!!! :D

So, I was on track through Thanksgiving. We had all South Beach diet friendly Thanksgiving food. The day after thanksgiving, we went to Great Wolf Lodge (we used frequent flier points and were able to go for free and take family too, great!) and after hiking up stairs for two days, I realized that it would be OK if I had a cheeseburger and fries with my kids today for once in four months (my son is visiting). AND SO I DID! AND I DON'T FEEL BAD ABOUT IT!

We'll see how much of a handicap today's cheeseburger and fries will be for me! (haven't had carbs forever and I probably had about 900 calories between the burger and fries...)

I just got on the scale and I'm 208.8 and my goal for this challenge is 10 pounds...198.8 ONEDERLAND!


P.S. I have to tell you all that I have lost 40 pounds since my parents have seen me and they were all OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!! my mom was trading clothes with me...she's wearing her "fat pants" right now...and although they were snug on me, they are 14s, and I was wearing them and they looked good, so we're both dieting now, and when I get to their house for Christmas, Mom's going to give me all her "fat pants" which should be nearly too big for me by that point (i.e. our new years resolution is to go down a notch for fat pants!)

And the other thing that happened was, at the water park (indoor), I kept looking at all the women, because I have been overweight or obese for 12-15 years and since the beginning of summer I have lost 50 pounds and gone from a 22W to 14 swimsuit, and I was trying to figure out what women were the same size as me. My son (15) asked me to trade places with him on the stairs (I realized it was because there was a woman in front of him who was very big). I asked him later if I was that big before. And he said, "not to me." and when I pushed him further, he said, "no, one time, I was afraid the roller coaster latch wouldn't close. That lady was like "NO WAY LADY" big. But what is weird is, I have NO CLUE how big or little I am, my clothes fall off that I think will fit, I think I can't fit between things that I totally can, I turn sideways to fit between things that I could walk between with no problem, etc. I finally asked my dad. He was like "you are the same size as your mom but your hips and thighs are fuller by just a few inches! I got a tape measure, and he was actually right.

My mom and I are going on vacation together (see ticker), so my goal is to close the gap with her by then. :)

Hi ladies, I'm holding on and checking in. I've spent all weekend cleaning house and putting out all our Christmas decorations. :) I think I've probably gained a little over the weekend, but not too much damage. ;) Glad to see the new faces, and glad to see some of you returning from the previous challenge.

My goal is just to hold on for this month.

i am so in! My goal is to loose about 8 pounds by the new year, two a week seems realistic.

I am holding my own. I have been putting up the tree. It is funny the box says 4 ft tree. Took it out the box and laughed. the tree is 2 ft.. My daughter helped me decorate it. It looks so pretty. She and I turned on the radio softly and did over an hour of yoga. I got a book from the library, thought I would write down my favorite poses. when I got done we had over 50 poses. we got adventuresome and did more than that. I am sooooooooo excited and happy. I can do Plow Pose again. she said Mom I remember you always doing that when I was little. Why did you stop doing it? I told her cause my belly was too big pushed my nose couldnt breathe. I am also practicing another pose I want to seriously master my Christmas...Dancer Pose. Rattled on enough for now. Welcome newbies jump in with us. Hope everyone is having a good day.
