Hello ladies!!! I am sitting here watching the Chicago Marathon and crying. I am so proud of all of these people who have taken on the beast!!!!
My beast (TOM) is just killing me. So I am cheering you all on and ready for the next challenge!!!! The good news though......I went to a jewelry party and my neck is smaller!!!! My neck is smaller!!!!! WOWEEE!!!! So...they just showed a little clip about a 310 lb guy who lost 1/2 his weight and is running the marathon today. More tears!!!! So maybe next year is my year????? Jellofer2...We have the Steamtown Marathon going on here today, I never though in a million years to even dream about doing something like that, what an accomplishment that would be. :idea:......maybe next year is my year also???

Krista---it has always been a dream for me.....then to watch my weight balloon and my husband actually complete it was hard. Now 8 years later.....here I am on a new lifestyle wanting and dreaming. So, maybe.....let's get ride of TOM this month he was rough. And shake this feeling of getting a cold and back on plan to my C25K. that is a start. going to join the gym next week on my day off and then there will be no excuses!!!

You guys don't even want to know how frustrated I am!!! No matter what I eat or do, my weight is going up, up, up! I'm hoping like heck it's pre-TOM. I was SO not thinking straight last night and over indulged at supper. Sadly, it hardly effected me on the scale, since I've been gaining weight when eating POP. I am in a REALLY foul mood today. I did my workout but was saying about every 30 seconds at the screen, "I hate you" to my virtual trainer on Wii Fit. I hope I didn't hurt her feelings! LOL Seriously though, got some major attitude to work through to get my head back on straight. Today has been and will continue to be OP. I have to just choose to eat right even when there's no positive reinforcement for it! UGH!

for me.. sw 154.4 cw 151.8 (-2.6) gw 149.4 I went up .2 Not too bad considering I had 4 (count em-4!) beers yesterday during the race. And Corned beef n hash...my sweety bought me the new bud select 55 beers. He knows how bad I want to get to 145 by my birthday...only 6.8 pounds for that...I'm going running in a few hours...should sweat some of that sodium out of the ol body that way. Hopefully that will get me going in the right direction again... |
