Hi chicks,
Well I tried pilates and I didn't like it. I faked a cramp and left 20 min into it. It's too artsy fartsy for me - or maybe I just don't like the pace. I enjoyed Yoga much better so I think I will stick with that. But you don't know until you try it. I felt kind of peetered out today so I only did about 1/2 hour of cardio and came home. Ate a good dinner and now I am ready for bed but I am seriously behind at work and have to get some stuff done. Yuck!!! My doctor's appointment got cancelled - and now it's not until the next week. The doctor is sick and I don't want to try a different one. So I'm waiting on that. The co-worker thing went ok - it's tolerable and that's all I can ask for right now :) Dance - I love Kohls - they don't have it in Canada - it a lame version called Winners and in my opinion - it's a winner if you actually find something. I don't have the patience to sort through all the junk to find a treasure. I would rather spend a bit more money for get in and out quick - but the odd time I don't mind. I loved Kohls when I was in Arizona...you have another long weekend coming up - what are you up to? Neesy - congrats on moving into the 180's and the mom thing - my mom did the same thing when I lost a bunch of weight - are you starving yourself? I think it's in their rule book to feed us and ensure we are full and happy and when they see us lose weight they think we're not eating well. My mom isn't even a good cook so I have no idea if that applies to me but heh - it makes sense! And congrats on the ring size too - the weight is just shedding everywhere! Sandy - nice to see you on here and on FB once in awhile too. Your life sounds very busy but adjusting ok? I bet you are getting some good toning and muscle!!! Working out for sore feet - ummm I don't know - that's a tough one - maybe something like yoga or where you can wear no shoes? Riding a bike? It's hard to workout when you're physically exhausted and feet are sore - but are the feet getting more used to it now? Burgandy - carving pumpkins - that sounds sooo fun! I love pumpkins. In fact I was really craving pumpkin pie today - good thing there was none around or I probably would have went face first into it! Hope you had a good night watching Nip/Tuck - it looks like a good show but I haven't seen it yet. I was thinking of renting a few seasons while on vacation. I can't wait to get away - I really need it. I can't wait to be done my job and go on to the next thing - like having a life :) Although I am doing ok lately. I have the munchies really bad tonight...but I am going to brush my teeth and just go to bed. I will figure out how to deal with the work stuff tomorrow! Everyone have a good night and day tomorrow!! AJ - I also meant to say that your day sounded really great!!! I hope it lifted your spirts - I am envious - it sounded awesome. All I have is my new duvet tonight but it's looking pretty heavenly so far...ahhhhh!

mygrits - so great to hear from you. I'm sure adjusting to the new job is really really tough. Just my two cents but I don't think you need to focus on major workouts right now - you're getting a bunch of activity in during your day which is the natural way to burn calories anyway. How about some incremental changes to gradually get you back on your eating program again? |

Dance, Burgund and Staccie, thanks for the input and all of you 'read my mind' on slowly trying some incremental changes. In my mind I keep thinking I could do some crunches, pushups and stuff like that or even workout with my Danskin Ball (big one), but I just haven't been motivated to do it....soooo, I guess baby steps. I don't know. I just really want to rid of the duck wings with my arms and flabby butt and thighs. I know the only way to change these areas is to do these activities. We will see. Well, off to work. I've been working since 500AM and got a ton of stuff done - I feel great. I decided that I am going to take today off the gym, my body is sore and I can feel that it needs a break - I better listen to it. I have a kickbox class tonight that I would really like to go to but we will see how the day progresses...but I am thinking I'd rather get some great workouts in with all my energy Fri-Sun - I need to keep busy on the weekend at the gym! I have to go to the dentist...I think I am biting down really hard at night as my jaw and teeth are so sore in the morning...I don't feel stressed but wondering where this is coming from - it's pretty new. Maybe from my medication. Well I don't have much to say but wanted to wish everyone a good morning!!! |
Ok, I feel like I am so behind with you girls...Im sorry. Im still playing catch up like crazy at work and at home. This didnt happen last time, I dont know how things fell so behind this time. I havent even unpacked my suitcase yet! lol. On a positive note, I was feeling smoking hot this morning, so I actually went running in my sports bra and shorts like the rest of the runner, haha---Imsuch a dork. Anyway, doing pretty good as far as eating and stuff. Easing back into it. What I need to realize is that even though Im not eating what I did on the boat, Im not walking or taking the stairs as much and that makes a big difference.
AJ and Maddiesmom - sorry to hear that you girls are in such a funk these days with not feeling well. You'll get back on track. I think we might see a little more of that in the next couple of months because the weather is changing, kids are back to school, etc. Stacie- Im like you, Pilates was not my thing at all. I have yet to do Yoga again, but I am meaning to get around to it. I cant wait to see your pictures. You are doing so well and I am super proud at the way you are balancing your life. Dance- didnt realize you were in the Bay area, I am dying to go there. How was the weather? Neesy - woo-freakin-hoo on the shrinking hands. NO MORE FAT FINGERS!!! lol, Im there with ya girl! Its weird but my feet have shrunk. I did not think that was possible but I used to wear a 9.5-10 and Im around an 8.5-9, how the heck can that be? I know width wide was possible but length? None of my shoes are fitting anymore, lol. Weird. Mygrits - glad you are getting back into the swing of things. Its so hard to balance work and life sometimes, but you havent fallen off the wagon so your doing good for sure. Hows Bubba doing? and your daughter? Ok, Ill catch up later. lindy - good for you running in your skimpy duds! you must be soooo tan - I'm jealous! SF was great but not great weather - unusually gloomy and rainy.
I'm headed to santa barbara tomorrow for a family thing - can't believe I'm going to the airport again tomorrow morning. Hope it will be warmer at least - it's supposed to be. Am bringing my running shoes in hopes of a run on the beach but it will be tricky as I don't have a car. |
Staccie-I have done pilates a few times and not a big fan either. And yea Nip/Tuck was awesome as usual, you should watch. I have always wanted to try kickboxing, let us know if you go.
Mygirts-just add a little bit of some of the things suggested and you will fall into a good routine. Lindy-it is always hard to catch up after being gone a week. Everything will be back to normal in a day or two. Dance-all kinds of traveling for you lately. Have fun with your family. A run on the beach sounds nice, wish its wasnt cold here already so I could do that. Finished day 24. I did not want to do it at all today, but I made myself, just now finished it. Only 6 more days. Had a nice lazy day at home today. Gonna go downstate Saturday to visit some cousins for sweetest day, have dinner out and stay at their house that night. Gotta take my scale so I can weigh myself Sunday morning. Hope everyone has a great day. |
burgundy - I so hear you on the 'I don't wannas' - good for you for forging ahead! I had the same issue with running today and procrastinated until right before it got dark so it was kind of a creepy run. Oh well...
Lindy - some of the girls posted progress pictures last week - mine would be way too boring as no one but me could see 5 measly pounds of difference since the beginning of our challenge but you've changed a bunch since then, right? Enquiring minds want to see progress photos!! |
Ewww, I'm wide awake at 200AM - probably because I went to bed at 7PM. So rather than lay there like a lump I got up and trying to catch up on things. I didn't work out last night although I definitely wanted to. I am ready for a workout today though - but my gym doesn't open for another 2.5 hours. I think I need to listen to my body more and give it rest when it needs it because I need to face that I am no spring chicken!
Yesterday was an odd day, I didn't get to really eat a solid meal until 630. I hate those days. I managed to have some tomatoes, carrots and watermelon in the afternoon. They don't happen often anymore but I still need to plan a bit better. I snuck in a few pieces of chocolate but kept it pretty controlled. I've decided that I cannot live without chocolate and I need to make room in my diet for it when I want it - I am convinced by allowing myself things in moderation (and under my calorie range) it will lead to less binging. But I am not allowing myself things like potato chips and pop - those are no go things at all. When I really need some salt, I put a bit of seasalt on my tomatoes and sweet drinks - a mini Crystal light package instead as I get sick of drinking water all the time. Lindy - that's so awesome that you are running in a sports bra - woo hoo! You deserve to feel hot -you are a MILF!!! It's hard to get back into the swing of things after vacation isn't it? Sometimes taking a vacation is hard work because everything piles up when you are gone. I am dreading coming back from vacation and being hit hard with stuff but I am trying to delegate as much as I can :) And thanks for being proud of me, I am proud of me too, other than my TOM horror week last week I think I am doing pretty good and although nothing is happening quickly for me on the outside, I definitely feel it in the inside. I am trying not to be as impatient as usual and just do what I can but push where I can too. Dance - have fun in Santa Barbara - hope the weather is nice there for you. Thanks for add on FB - can I say wow though - you have such amazingly beautiful hair....I am such a sucker for hair and I was like wow!!! When you do your creepy runs do you run without an Ipod? I can't even put my ipod in when I am walking downtown to the gym in the morning when it's dark, I get freaked out! Rayne - congrats on the DVD's - you are going to be able to give Jillian a run for her money soon!!! Have a good visit this weekend too!! AJ - MIA...where are you...I hope you didn't drown in all those wonderful fresh veggies you can get down in Arizona :) I won't get a chance to log on until tonight or tomorrow as I am slammed busy in meetings all day. Sounds like everyone has an exciting weekend planned - me - not so much. I have to work as I am behind and on vacation in just over a week - but I am looking forward to getting some awesome workouts in this weekend, I am trying some new classes - including bosu bootcamp. I watched it a few months ago and thought I could never do that but I think I am ready to try it and will find a nice comfy place in the back in case I peeter out too quick. Dance - have fun at your family function. Its going to be cooler here in Florida this weekend, were actually getting into the mid 70's, yay us! Hmmm...I have to go back and look at everyones pics again, I only saw two. Im going to hold off on posting mine until November 1st, that will be the official end date of our challenge and I plan on putting on the same swimsuit as last time. But yes, I have lost almost 20 pounds since the challenge and my body shows it for sure, so I also cant wait to post pics. Burgundy - <music interlude>...did you ever know that your my heroooooo, your everything I wish I could be....LOL (think the song)! Anyway, Day 24--that is INSANE!!! I could not do it, can you see the difference in your body? See, for me, the scale never moved while doing 30DS but I saw changes in my body, but doing that consecutively is incredible! Ok, not too much to report. I skipped the gym yesterday because my BodyWorks class from Wednesday kicked my butt and hurt me like heck, even my booty was sore, lol. I did run though. And today, I had an amazing run and did Body Works again. God I love that class. Im doing good with food also, looking forward to hopping on the scale on Sunday to see if I took off that 2 pound weight gain. Fingers crossed! Oh, I would like to report that I went shopping for a Halloween costume yesterday and had so much fun doing it. I learned that I cannot pull off everything yet, but dang, other things were super cute. Anyway, Ill talk to you girls later. |
Dance-I have done that before, waited too long to go for a walk or run. My husband is native american and all the elders tell us stories of things that happened here and most of it is kinda creepy. So I try to walk in the daylight.
Staccie-2am-you are right, eewww. At least you got somethings done, but sleeping would have been better. I allow myself some dark chocolate here and there but in moderation and always within my calorie range. We cant deprive ourselves of everything. Hope your meetings go smoothly and you have a good day. Lindy-LOL-you are too funny. Me and my bestfriend used to sing that song to each other all the time. I wasnt seeing the difference in my body and the scale was frustrating the **** outta me, so that is when I decided to take the pictures. When I saw them side by side I was so EXCITED!!!!! I made my husband come look right away and he was like see your hard work is paying off! The scale has only moved 3 lbs since I started this 25 days ago, but I am going to take a little break from it after 30 days and hope to see a drop then. I know muscle weighs more than fat and I have lots of muscle now. I see it in my arms and my legs are rock hard. 5 more days after today, thats a big accomplishment for me. Thanks!!!! So I havent even been out of bed long so nothing really to report on yet. Have some errands to run and bills to pay. Need to pack for the weekend, well one night. Gonna take my scale and keep myself accountable. Going to eat out Saturday night, but I will keep it healthy. I have to now after the results I am seeing. Will have to get up early saturday morning and do 30ds so I dont have to take it and do it in front of people, not ready for that. The scale is still at 210 today but I am not going to stress over that right now. I have gotten so many compliments from everyone about my pics that I am on a great high this week. I sent the pics to my mom, sisters, cousins, SIL, and they are showing them to everyone. My mom is a hair stylist and showing it to all her customers. Makes me feel great and I think I deserve it after almost 2 months of being unhappy about my weight loss. Ok sorry about the self centered post. I need to get up and get ready for this day. Being lazy this morning. Have a wonderful day girls. |

Only have a second, as I need to get into the shower and get ready for work but I wanted to peek in and say hello ;-) Lindy - Thanks for the kudo's. I had to smile as I remember the first time I wore my sports bra and shorts and felt sooooo cool. Like a true athlete! LOL... It really was nice because it wasnt' as hot and does make you feel a bit 'sexy.' Any, Bubba is good, and is down another 12 pounds. Sooo not fair guys can lose quicker. Anyway he does have a way to go, but is feeling better now. Thanks for asking. Alina I miss terribly and haven't seen since she got married. She is happy, and will see her husband on Mondy for 5 days. Dance - Hope your travels and time with family is good. I am with Staccie - you have gorgeous hair! LOL.. Got all my errands done and now home. Gonna workout and cook dinner. Hubby wants breakfast for dinner. I have 12 grain pancakes and maybe something with egg whites, not sure yet.

mygrits- I am so sorry that you miss your daughter. My wedding I think brought me closer to my mom because she has gone through the beginning of a marriage. =) Hopefully she will reconnect soon. Lindy- Wow! You have a beautiful voice =O lol. I bet your looked smokin' in those fun costumes. They make them really small and skimpy now so I can imagine that some of them don't look good on a playboy model. Dance- What part of Denver do you live in. City Park was too scary to run or walk at night because you never know who is sleeping under the tree next to you! haha. Staccie- I am sorry you were up all night! My hubby was too. That can def throw a kink in the whole day. Did you make it to the gym? BTW this whole 10 lbs before Halloween... hard! I am still really trying though. Thats for worrying about me. Hi chicks...well it's 830PM and I have finally settled at home and ready for bed. What a long day! I did stay up and go to the gym this morning and felt awesome for most of the day - because I didn't have time to feel not tired! Now though, I am pooped! I didn't eat until 7PM - other than breakfast because I was so busy at work but that is no excuse. Not eating is just as bad as eating too much in some ways. I have to do better next week and maybe just have more healthy things that I can grab and take on the way to a meeting, etc. Looking forward to tomorrow and working out, resting and then followed by work :)
Lindy (aka MILF) - lol. We just watched a bit of American Pie and you are way hotter than Stifler's mom!!! Congrats for getting on track with things as well - you're an inspiration woman! And just think what you can wear this Halloween and then next...sexy nurse, teacher - Halloween is awesome because it's the time we can wear sexy stuff and not look like a hooker!! I went as a cat when I was much skinnier and loved it! Burgandy - that's so great about being able to show your pictures, be proud and I have no doubt, inspire others to change something in their life, whether it be their weight, a bad habit or finish a goal of some type. And yes muscle weighs more than fat that's why my weight hardly moves but I can see definition in my arms and stuff now although I really wish I would see some results...but I am - in clothes and stuff just not on the scale, but it has to move eventually right?!?! Sandy - thanks for checking in :) And glad to hear about Bubba, and it's just not fair how much weight they can drop - they get to pee standing up, lose weight quick, no TOM - I could go on and on...lol. But I wouldn't want a weiner so I guess I am good with being a woman :) lol. AJ - congrats on the change...and yeah the 10 pounds, it ain't gonna happen as much as I want it to...sigh. But even 5 would be awesome now!!! Want to aim for that? As for the weigh in question, I always weigh myself first thing in the morning on the same scale at the gym. My trainer told me that is the most accurate weight reading you will get. So I never really weigh myself at any other time. Although I did weigh this morning and I shouldn't have because I had drank two things of water, a protein shake and a banana and that accounted for some pounds. OK, I have to get to bed...check in tomorrow after my workout!!! S |
Wow slow day. So its only 230 and I have already done day 26 and walked an hour. We are at our cousins house so I actually had someone to walk with. I did 30ds at 7 this morning. I am not an early bird at all, but glad I got it done. But will probably stick to doing my workouts later in the day.

Well I am just waking up...oh my - it's 1130Am here. I can't believe I slept that long but I must have needed it. It's pouring rain here so hard to get motivated but I do want to get to the gym so off I go :)

Rayne- You really are a strong person. I think we made it to day 13 before quitting. I was soooo sore.
Staccie- 5 lbs sounds GREAT! I can hit that. I can'tt hit 10. I woke up @ 11:30 too and proceeded to inhale 2 pancakes with blueberries and bananas, 2 egg, hash browns and 2 slices of bacon. Wow, I don't think I could feel any more gross. Bad start to a day but I am headed to the gym to walk so hopefully if I eat well the rest of the day I can balance that out. |
Hey chicks! It is almost 4:30 here and I have had a rather productive day. I have done 6 loads of laundry with two still "in progress" and about two more to go. Most of that is already folded AND put away so that is a feat all on its own :lol:
I also have perpared supper for the family, made the kids some homemade granola bars and I have washed all the dishes and unloaded the dishwasher. Phew! Last night...I am not sure what happened to me? We have "pizza party" with the kids every Friday night and so I usually have a salad and I found a frozen pizza that is 280 for half (it is probably 10 inches across or so) and I load it up with veggies and I am good. Last night, I couldn't stay away from the kids (and hubby's) pizza! I had a bite of the three year olds....then another...then I took a whole slice...then another!! What the ???? After all these months...why am I seemingly sabatoging myself now? Grrrr! I don't get it. After the kids went to bed, I did walk on my treadmill for an hour while watching my own movie but still. I am really angry with myself :mad: I mean, it wasn't even my favorite kind of pizza or anything?!? Hoping to get back on track today. So far so good. Thanks for listening! |
AJ - hope your walk was great...did you see any desert creatures?!?! Its STILL pouring rain here but I did a good workout - mostly cardio today though (which I need). Down 2 pounds - yeah hoo!!! I watched Gossip Girl while on the treadmill - I don't know why I like that show but I sure do! Actually I watched project runway, model runway and then gossip girl all while on the treadmill. Better than watching it at home I guess :)
I don't have much planned for the rest of the day - do some reading, laundry, and I decided that I am going to work tomorrow - I need at least one whole day to recuperate!!! Tomorrow I am getting my hair done and I love that even though it will cost me an arm and a leg! And then one week until I am on holidays - yeah!!! Well I hope everyone else is having a good weekend!! Looking forward to seeing results from all you hot chicks tomorrow! S |
Mom- I am so sorry. I know first hand (this morning) what that feels like. I don't even really like blueberries or bacon. I ate both spontaneously. Its not anything I crave or even care about. Don't be mad though. You will rebound and next week you will be stronger.
Staccie- LOL. No but I don't want to! Tarantulas and scorpions are not my cup of tea! I do love the road runners though. I LOVE project run way. And I am down 2 too!!! =) Great job. We can do this I am sure of it!!!!!! |
Mom - we've all been there - for me - if I deprive myself of things I like for too long when I take one bite, I go all out nuts. Therefore, I have decided that I when I want something, I'm going to have it - as long as it fits within my calorie range and it's one - not multiple. Today I went to Subway to have a tuna sandwich and I got two cookies with the meal - I ate one and gave the other one to a homeless guy (not the one that flashes me lol - long story). I was proud. BUT - you recognized that you had too much and got right back on track and that is really important - so kudos to you!!!
AJ - woo hoo for you 2 pounds too! We can so make the Halloween goal...and sorry (well for me) that you didn't see any cute Arizona critters...I just love it there!!! Cactus are my favorite and road runners are adorable. My dad loved them and I always think of him when I saw one. I am convinced he came back as one :) Well it's still pouring rain here. I am doing a nothing day at all...it's nice though. I am going to watch a movie and then hopefully be asleep soon. I ate clean today and feel good although I will admit I have allowed Coke Zero back into my diet but with moderation. It's not good for you, but if it helps me stay focused a bit then I am ok with that. Goodnight everyone!!! |
So I'm still at 189 today... which is 1lb down from last sunday. I hope I'm not starting to plateau! Dang. I need to get my exercise routine back in motion. I'm getting ready to go shopping AGAIN. haha.. still looking for the grad day outfit. I got some cute jeans last week. size 13 and they fit perfect. So.. that makes me happy. I still feel "fat" though. It's weird. I question whether or not there is even a difference. But I KNOW there is. ... weird. Well, I'll catch up more later. TTYL!

Hey girlys---Im am back at 166, I lost the 2 pounds on gained on the cruise, Ill take it!
Dance - we all have those days. At least you were counterproductive and did the treadmill. The important thing is to get back on track. Glad your able to log on and give updates. Neesy- girl, you know we are all bound to slow down a week or two, 1 pd is still awesome and your getting closer and closer to seeing your hubby, yay you. I imagine your hubby is also in great shape now, so now you guys can push each other to stay on top of things. :) Mygrits- wow 12 pds for Bubba, thats crazy and awesome! Kudos to him. How is the job going these days? We miss hearing from you as much but its understandable. AJ- girl, common, you can do this. Stay focused. Your in your new home, getting settled, stay on point with your weight loss journey. You can do this. Burgundy - you are my inspiration. I think Im going to try 30 DS again and see what happens. When you are done there... its piling up at my house soooo if you wanna! =) Well U recommitted myself to my real diet today. No more fudging. 2 protiens/4 veggies/2 fruits/2 starches/1 fat. 80 oz of water and all of my vitamins! I can do this. I can not cheat. I have done it before. And its not for forever. Just until maintenance. I am officially @ 157. Thats my Sunday weigh in. It goes up and down a pound in the afternoon but I am claiming it =) Thats only 10 lbs since the challenge started but I am happy still. |

Just want to look good for the hubby. My legs are a little pale.. I'm either gonna do some tanning lotion/spray tan... or stockings. I feel like stockings are so old lady. What are ur guy's thoughts? I love the little black dress. You look so fantastic. What a lucky man! I would say look for someone who has versa spa. Mystic is okay but it can be more of an orange base and Versa Spa is a bronze base. I would do a level 2 with bronzer. When you go they will know what I am talking about. If you pay a few extra $$ they will also put super moisturizer in it so that your whole body feels like silk for two weeks. Don't ask how I know so much about it... being tan makes me feel sexy. ha. |

I had a horrible day :( I got a haircut that I don't really like and then I had to buy a new blackberry and ipod because they got soaked, I spent well over 1000 today :( And I didn't make it to the gym because it closed before my phone thing was done. GRRR. I added it here, honest opinions please :(

staccie- You look beautiful but I get it. I got blunt bangs like that a year ago and it was hard. Even though every one like it I struggled to ever grasp it. You really do look great though. And it will grow fast so no worries!

Ok so today I decided I would have a cheat day. Havent had one in a long time. Still did my workout, today was day 27, only 3 more to go and I can give my muscles a rest. I think I am getting sick, you know when you cough and it tastes different, its coming. I do not want to be sick, taking my vitamins and gonna spend a day at home tomorrow, relaxing. I could go to bed now and sleep all night, it would probably be good.
AJ-its not so bad doing 30ds once you get going and just keep thinking its only 20 minutes. Girl you need to change that ticker and claim that 157 as your own. Mom-I feel you on the eating, I ate quite a bit today but I planned it and will be right back on plan tomorrow. Staccie-lucky you getting your hair did!!! We wanna see. You look great, but it will take you a minute to get used to bangs, I had bangs forever before I went to side swept. Neesy-189 is great. 4 days, how excited are you????I love the dress. I agree with you stocking do seem old ladyish, so I would go with the spray tan or with what the tan expert AJ said, lol. Lindy-love the new pic, you look so pretty. Yay for getting the 2 lbs off. I recommend the 30ds to all of you girls. You may not see the lbs drop but the inches def. do. I took my scale with me and weighed this morning. I am still at 210, didnt really expect to lose anything while doing these last 3 days of 30ds. Hopefully after that I will see a loss. Gonna try to stay off the scale until Wednesday. I am gonna relax and try to rest and everyone keep your fingers crossed that I dont get sick. I havent even been around the boys this week and I start feeling sick. Maybe I am just tired and hoping that my throat is feeling weird because of being around all the smokers in the bowling alley. Have a great night ladies. |

And I wish I lived closer too - it sucks to have all these great friends that we can only chat on line and never visit, but I say never say never!
Neesy - congrats on the outfit - you look amazing. I would say yes to stockings though - they are really 'it' right now and not grandmaish at all - there are some with some really nice designs out there as well - particularly because of the time of year - I think it will polish the look a lot. But tan legs are hot too so I think it's whatever you feel comfortable with! You must and should feel amazing and celebrate how great you look!!! AJ - I like the look with bangs on you - you have such a pretty face and can probally wear anything...totally different look with being brunette though! Your new food plan sounds good - and will definitely produce results. And congrats on the 157 and 10 pound loss - I am bound and determined to hit 5 more for the 31st...gonna do it. I really noticed today when I put on a t-shirt that used to be too tight and it wasn't anymore...I love that because it really motivates me which is why I am bummed I didn't make it to the gym but I am looking forward to getting in a really good workout tomorrow morning! Well overall other than the loss of funds I had a decent weekend - personally that is. I didn't get ANY work done and that is not good. It's like my body just turns off and refuses to work on the weekend, now I am stressed out because my week is going to be rough and I am leaving next Monday. But I still can't bring myself to do it...so this week is going to be a long one. I have to stay at the office and it's clear I cannot get motivated to work at home. It kind of sucks that I am finding better personal balance but then my work life suffers. I have to work on finding that balance and staying at work and not thinking I can do it at home is a good start I suppose. Umph... Well hope everyone has a happy Monday tomorrow!! Night! |

Staccie- Thank you for the compliment. I miss my brown hair. I go back and forth about 4 times a year. Thats what happens when your best friend is a hair stylist. lol. The 5 lb goal has really got me back on track. And I know I can do it. I believe we both can! Try to get some sleep girl. You have a way too early morning. I hope your day starts well!!! Well... No cheats today but no workout. I have gotten really lazy with it. I did really well getting every thing in. Its amazing just how much food really is needed to lose weight. I can do this! I wish you had a camcorder with you so that you can post his reaction when he sees you because seriously, his mouth is going to drop to the ground. I seriously cant say it enough, you look sooooo pretty! Oh and can I add, yes...you have lost a lot of weight, but you dont even look like your in the 180's (this is a compliment...I swear, lol), you look like your around 150 or so---amazing. Oh and I personally would go with panty hose for 3 reasons...you can look tanner, it will keep your legs warm and it sucks you in, lol. Stacie---I like the color, the blunt bangs definately take some getting used to. It does not look bad though, thats for sure. can you just side sweep your bangs? It would be much off from what it was before, right? Anyway, your beautiful no matter what hair cut you have but I understand how you feel. Sorry to hear about you pocketbook having a hole in it, lol...thats the term I use when I blow a lot of money. When I get sick it works two ways...if I have just a cold, I ravage everything, there is no such thing as a diet but when I get the flu, I have no appetite at all and usually lost a serious amount of weight during that time. Hmmm...lets see, what else to report on. Oh---so it was 50 this morning! Brrrrr.....I couldnt leave my bed to get to the gym, I dont know how some of you girls do it. I miss the cold but now that I exercise, I cant imagine trying to get up everyday in this weather. Anyway, I skipped the gym because of it, but then I attempted to jog around 7 am, OMG-- Im such a panzy! I was freezing, lol. On a positive note, I was able to pull off my knee high boots and a suit today, its rare that we can wear boots in fl without looking completely nuts, lol. I also decided on my Halloween costume, which I will post pics of that. I went with "naughty" snow white, lol. Its sooooo cute. Little shorter than I would like but oh well. Food wise, doing ok, Im pretty much maintaining these days with food. Not changing my eating habits too much, just trying to push harder with my exercise if I want to see weight loss. I like the fact that Im past the measuring and looking everything up all the time, now I know what is right and what isnt and if I indulge, how to counter balance it, so Im a happy camper. Hope Dance is doing good on her family function? |

AJ-thanks for wishing it off, so far I only have a cough and I feel fine. My wonderful hubby got me some cough medicine and some soup. You are doing good food wise, now you have to get to that gym, you can do it. Lindy-be glad you arent in MI, it is so cold here already. We barely had a summer here and now its cold, bbbrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!!!!! I really hope I keep feeling well and the medicine works to get rid of this cough. Gonna wait until later to do day 28, dont want to start coughing during my workout. I will do it!!! Then 2 more days. Trying to rest today, have to do some laundry at some point. Oh-so I finally had time to rewind and check out everyones photos, holy crapola! This has been open on my browser for quite some time and I am finally getting to it - I wish work didn't interfere with my day :nono: what a pain lol. Well as usual I didn't sleep worth an arse last night :hyper: because I slept in Saturday and Sunday until 11AM (right AJ?) and so therefore going to the gym this morning was NOT an option. I have a PUMP class and then going to do some weights after. I should never plan to work out on Monday mornings! Well the hair is a little better today, it needs to grow an inch before I can really sidesweep it - everyone says I look young so I guess that is ok. But because I have curly hair, the humidity here makes it go even shorter so I look twelve (with a few crowsfeet, lol) - kind of like Benjamin Button!!! :yikes: Lindy - 50!!! Oh my - what I wouldn't give for that temp - but heh it's Canada and not Florida so I guess that is cold. I remember how cold the desert used to get at night...:snowglo: that is awesome about maintaining and just knowing and not having to go through all this bullpoop as much anymore. I can't wait to see your costume! I can't wait until I can wear something like that for Halloween instead of going like a ghost or pumpkin, lol. I can't wait to see your pictures...... Rayne - are you hanging in there....hopefully getting better and fighting it off :club: AJ - you better have gone to the gym girl....or I am going to sick some scorp's on you....
