CM4 - Love the pic!
I don't know what I thought you'd looked like - but it wasn't that. So good to be able to put a face to a user name :)

I had a better today today but not as good as it could have been.
Tomorrow will be better :carrot:

Ms Perception 07-27-2009 08:36 PM

Sandye-What a hottie! You look great in your pic. Like Susie, I had no idea what you looked like, but your picture does make you look terrific! You're so skinny!!

Not much else here...I'll post in the morning to let ya'll know how my weight looks.....

Delphi 07-28-2009 06:28 AM

Good Morning Ladies

Sandye ~ Your hair looks great. You look absolutely gorgeous. Now regarding your dilemma, I don't know. Sounds like you have a whole lot of cons and not many pros...so I would just say go with your heart. What do you guys think is best for the family? For your children..and for you guys, as husband and wife. Money does make the world go around, but some things simply aren't worth it. I hope you guys makes the best decision. :)

Gekster ~ Hey you  good to see you. :welcome: back darling.

As for me, I'm up and at it. Down another .8 this morning which has me one breath away from 191. I have a plan, I'm telling ya'll. It's the don't sit down plan. It's working wonders...as long as I stay on my feet I'm golden. Which that will change as soon as I get the next two disks of LOST in the mail. So called the school and we register Monday and the boys start Wednesday. So I'm excited, but my whole schedule needs a revamp. I quit getting up so early, because by six in the evenings I was dragging my feet and with all the stuff I have to do with Canaan at night, I can't go to sleep early. So I'm in the process of giving my schedule and my routine an extreme makeover. I'm at the point, where if I want those big deficits, then I have to create them. So that's the plan...I'm just so ready for August to start. At any rate, gotta get ready to do some cardio, so I'll check in later. You ladies have a fab day and keep smiling!!!!!!!!!

susiemartin 07-28-2009 07:01 AM

Good Morning Ladies :)
I'm up for a total OP day and heading out the door for my morning walk.

Ms Perception 07-28-2009 08:40 AM

Oh yeah, Sandye, I forgot to chime in on your question. I am always inclined to get more family time and hope the money follows. If there's one thing I nag DH about it's getting more time with him...for me and the kids. That's what a happy family needs. On the other hand it makes you wonder if amybe he got in good with those guys all that time ago for a reason and now you're seeing why. Who knows. Like Delphi said. Follow your heart and you'll make the right choice for you 2 and the kids.

I weighed myself today to see the damage from the weekend. I found 2 of the pounds I had lost, but I'm fixin' to kick them back to the curb...never to see them again! Today will be full of challenges, so I'm going to make nice with the Wii Fit and earn myself a little room so I can at least have a cupcake to celebrate today.

Delphi 07-28-2009 08:56 AM

:bday2you::bday2you::bday2you:
Happy birthday Ms.P! I hope it's a great one dear.

Susie, good to see you are off for a walk. Good deal. Looks like you're getting back into routine. :)

As for me, got some exercise in and sprinting intervals were excellent. Me and my oldest were doing them in the driveway. He is so awesome. Well, I'm off to do some rearranging in my room and see if I can get my treadmill back there. I finally got it working again..well sort of. So I'm gonna put it back there out of the way to get on periodically throughout the day, since about ten minutes is all it can take at a time. But it something until I get my elliptical. I'll check in on you ladies a bit later.

iDream 07-28-2009 09:29 AM

Gooooooooooooooooooood Morning ladies!!!!

First of all let me get this out there:

:woo::celebrate::bday2you::celebrate::woo:
Happy Birthday MsP!!!!!

I hope you have a wonderfully fantastic day hun!! :)

Okay, whew! I had to get that out! ;)

Gekster~ okay, sorry I didn't come back last night (had some talking to do with hubby), I am SOOOO glad to see you back! I was thinking about you the other day and wondering where the heck you were! Sorry to hear you're having a tough time getting motivated with the exercise--it's great that you're on your way back down, but...ready for some tough love hun? Okay. Here's the deal--you KNOW you need to get back onto the wagon with your exercise! You wouldn't have mentioned it if you didn't, kwim? Quit beating yourself up over your staycation gain, shake it off, take a deep breath and get back on the horse! We're here for you! You aren't alone--if you need help getting motivated we'll give you a :cheer: or a :kickbutt:--whichever you need! You're on your way girlie--look how far you've come already! Don't stop now! Like I said, take a deep breath and get back to it! You CAN do this!!

Susie~ 3 for 3!! I'm proud of you hun!! :) Now, get out there and make today as good as it can be! And I expect to see you THREE times today chickie!!! :)

MsP~ Again, :bday2you: do be sure to treat yourself to that cheesecake dear, it is your day after all! :) Just be sure to report back here and tell us how delicious is was! ;) "Hottie" *snort* hahaha! Thanks, I dunno about that, but I'll take it. ;) And omgosh! Skinny? :o Aww, I could just squeeze you to death!   You're so sweet! Now, as for those 2 lbs--don't sweat it! It'll be off in a flash!!! :)

Delphi~ Thanks sweetie! Now please don't tell me you want to cut your gorgeous hair k? I don't want to be the one responsible for that! If I had hair like yours I wouldn't have cut it--but mine is all coarse and curly/wavy/straight and ugh...leave your beautiful locks alone k? Woo hoo on the loss chica!! I am still blown away at how fast you blew through the 190's--especially given the long stall out you had! You're absolutely doing something right hun! I like your plan btw, I need to embrace it! I've been spending entirely too much time online these days...need to turn off the computer! As much as I love you girls, I need to restrict myself a bit to just mornings and nighttime.

Thanks for chiming in about my dilemma girls. We chatted last night and decided that we're sticking with what's working right now. Yeah, we're not saving tons of money right now and the extra money would be wonderful, but it's not worth all the headache and stress of him working 24/7. So, whew! I'm back to my somewhat normal self today and not feeling like I'm gunna spew! :barf:

I got rid of that water weight and then some! Enough to change my ticker and add another :trampo: but not quite enough to say I've reached my goal weight...I'm tantalizingly close though!! :hyper:

Well girls, I better get going. I didn't get a whole lot of sleep last night and I'm feeling a little dizzy this morning (I think I have some fluid in my ear from last night's shower messing up my equilibrium) so I'm going to lay down for a few mins while the kids finish breakfast and see if that helps at all.

Have a great day ladies and remember to...

Drink Your Water!!!
:D

Morning girls :) I can't stay long as dh is waiting but I wanted to wish you all a great day. I updated the list so that you have your well deserved red! congratulations again girlsssssssss :)

Merose.....congratulations on having MET GOAL.

MsPerceptionnnnnn :bday2you::celebrate::woo::gift: Have a beautiful day :).

Sandye.......you look great!!!! ty so much for sharing with us :) your hair cut looks great. I can see the definition in your shoulders from working out! lol :) wooooooo hoooooo on the delts! ;) Have a great day chickie.
Regarding your dh's job...not an easy decision. You have a lot to weigh...a decision like that would vary according to the needs and wants of each unique couple...etc. as I'm sure you know. My husband use to travel a lot on business and from when we first moved here...I was alone quite a bit. He travels occassionally now....but nothing like before. I had gotten to the point (and he as well) where that is not what we wanted. I had gotten lonely and wasn't very happy at the time ....it just isn't the same not having someone to share stuff with...the house..everything...etc. BUT that's me andddddd I don't have any children Sandye (so I was alone completely) , you have the added decision of the children's college fund. You also mention the stability of his current job....I think that is also a big factor in this economy. I wouldn't rush into it without turning over every rock (which sounds like your doing) and try and find out exactly how much travel and how often because that would be a major factor as well. Sandye...in a nutshell..I agree with the girls. You and hubby need to talk it all out and come to a mutual decision.........I am sure you will do that and come up with a solution so hang in there

susieeeeeee, wtg :) hope you have a great walk

NSM...........welcome back girllllllllllllll

Delphi........hiya sweet girl :)

geckster...wtg on getting back on track

oopssssssss....I have to go! I will be back later this evening to do our thread....first comes the red! lol . :) have a great day chicks

Newshinyme 07-28-2009 12:33 PM

Morning!
Such a hot day today. I think I will have some of FSA's iced coffees please.

:bday2you: Ms. P. :woo: Hope you have a great one!

Sandye: I was going to chime in with your dilemma, but I see that you have worked it out. I think I would've gone the same route you chose too as well.

Delphi: Wow, you are running now! That is amazing, you've progressed so fast :carrot:. I think I will have to borrow some of that ninja determination for August if I want to make any progress.

susie: You go and rock that OP day now :D

Tomorrow is our 7th wedding anniversary and DH and I are totally out of ideas on what to do to celebrate. I am thinking we will just postpone whatever it is we do until the weekend. Any ideas?

Have a great day everyone! Will be back later to check in on everyone.

iDream 07-28-2009 12:51 PM

Afternoon ladies!

FSA~ thanks for updating the list for us! I'd like to add that I have met all of my goals--can you believe it? I actually managed to try new recipes once a week this month!! I'm almost done on the exercise end as well, but I did meet one goal over there too--to finish the 8 Week HIIT program--the rest is pending. ;) I agree with you, having hubby gone would get lonely. I mean, the quiet would be nice at first ;) but nah, I don't want it. I'm just glad he's on the same page as me--there was a time he was insane for climbing the corporate ladder!

NSM~ Happy Pre-Anniversary!! :) I would postpone plans for the weekend--more fun that way. Um...maybe book a room at a nice hotel? Go out to dinner and then back to the hotel for some *ahem* Alone time. ;) Hubba, hubba!! :D Other than that, I don't know! We don't usually celebrate ours (it's 9/11) and plan on possibly renewing our vows this year (our 10th) on another date. Hubby wants to go to a concert for our anniversary--not exactly romantic, but I think it'll be fun. So long as we can talk my ils into taking all 4 kiddos for the evening! Have fun whatever you decide!!

Nothing new to report here...feeling less :dizzy: thank goodness, I hate feeling dizzy! Beautiful sunshiny day...just finished lunch and my first 64oz of water...just discovered that my last name is misspelled on my drivers license--so I have to go get that fixed asap--what a treat that'll be. Um...other than that, just trying to figure out what's for dinner. What is everyone having tonight? I need some ideas! ;)

Hope everyone is having a great day! :)

Wifey 07-28-2009 01:40 PM

:congrat: to those who have hit their goals already! :high:

Well ladies, I've been drinking a lot of water, but I definitely won't reach my 10lb goal this month :(
I'll be weighing myself on Thursday to see if I've lost at least 1-2 lbs this month.

I've had a pretty hard and busy month...time to get myself on track for August! I'm getting to the point where I desperately want to hit ONEderland!!!

FullSteamAhead 07-28-2009 02:12 PM

omg! I'm terrible! Sandyeeeeeeeeeeee.....forgive me sweetheart! I am updating that list right now! wow....congratulationssssssss on meeting all of your goals! :) :carrot::carrot::cheer2::cheer2::cheer::cheer::che er::congrat: That is so neat that you tried the new recipe's and all too...how nice! :) Congrats on a wonderful month and on the HIIT program too! : ) :congrat: glad you got it all sorted out with dh, you must be releived. Have a super day.

Newshinyme......congratulationsssssss on your new place! :carrot::carrot::congrat: \_/ a big ice coffee for you :) \_/\_/\_/\_/\_/ for you all : ) How nice you have your anniversary coming up tomorrow. Maybe get all dolled up and go somewhere nice to dinner together to celebrate?

wifey....wtg on keeping on truckin'. :carrot::carrot: congrats on sticking with it...I look forward to our new month too : )

If anyone else meets goal....please let me know and I will update the list until our dear Jacqui returns............we miss ya :hug

Tummy Girl 07-28-2009 02:25 PM

Afternoon Ladies, I got to sleep in! It's almost like my birthday today, hehe, nice to sleep in until 10:30 OMG!

FSA - Sorry to hear about your unpleasant end to your evening the other day, it always seems to come up on an otherwise fantastic day, glad you resolved it so quickly though, secret to a happy marriage! Thanks for the red!

LTTG - I think you have a strong legion of people who understand man business around here, mine has improved substantially but then again he went through 6 months of police boot camp training before I got that and I still have to tell him what to do! Woohoo on GOAL!

Delphi - Ooh I've played Lips, that's hilarious! I almost peed my pants at some of my friends and dh is a ham and a half, him on rock band is insane. Oh I'm sure the booze helped too. The secret to finding a man is getting one just as weird, if not slightly weirder than yourself, that's why mine works, when I'm acting nuts I can look at him and say, "what, I may be werid but you're flippin crazy"

Susie - I think that's a wonderful plan, one week of staying on plan will start you off on the right track again and there was no back sliding, you don't have to lose anything again, you just have to re-set your brain, that's a big kudos to give yourself credit for!

Cmo4 - I only run for 30-36minutes regularly but I've managed a few 40+ minute runs so far, your exaggerating ;) LOL, and I'm sure running would be no sweat if you tried that c25k program some of the others are doing, I mean I have to haul an extra 36lbs down the road when I go, you'll be fine! Party was great, very smoothly and no rush it was great. Super hot so we all kind of melted a bit but fun was had by all, especially the birthday girl. Yay for new hair cuts, I bet it looks fabulous, can't wait! OMG your hair looks fantastic and your neck is so skinny! And look at those back muscles!

Merose - :bravo:, nights are a killer, great job on the 184!

MsP - don't yet just hate when those pounds go missing only to find them again? That was a funny way to put it and Happy Birthday!!!!!!

NSM - Congrats on the house, Vancouver is nasty real estate environment, I can't imagine trying to find someplace on the lower mainland, Alberta was hard enough. We almost got posted in Surrey or Burnaby and the house prices made me :dizzy:. Glad to have you back, those 4 lbs are a good as history! I would totally spend the day sratching eat other to make the itch go away :)

Crystal - Glad you're back and workign your way back down, the groove will come, once the eating is better the exercise will come, I think that's how I remember you doing it before too.

Wifey - Congrats on the two pounds!

Gotta an uber late start today but it was nice, a treat really, finished breakfast at 11am but it did kinda of mess up my regular routine. DH went back to bed b/c he was so tired from waking up with the little one at 7am, awww poor dear :) But got a weird surprise this morning, weighted 186.2, huh? that's 2.6 in a day?!? I'll wait to see tomorrow how that plays out and if it rebounds up a bit b/c i'm day two of TOM too, so WEIRD. I hit 1330cal yesterday so not super low, but we ate our huge meal (650cal) for the lunch birthday BBQ and ate a small supper, then with sleeping super long, I don't know but that's my best guess. Anywho I'll take it today and go about my day. Got some housecleaning to do from the party, which was marvelous BTW, and then off to a bonfire at dh's coworkers place who were here yesterday.

Bye for now.

canadianangel 07-28-2009 02:35 PM

hello all you wonderful ladies!

well i have to ammit i have been MIA most of this month, trying to deal with my 9 yr old daughter and her medical issues. Hubby is lso getting ready to leave for 14 months, so its been very busy around here. I do have to say i have been able to get back to running on the treadmill, for 4 miles a day, and have finally went below the 220, and this morning i was 218...think im pushing it to try for 215 before friday? i think its a far fetch, but we will see.
