Hey girls! I'm SO sorry that I'm just now getting in here! My MIL had a gand Maul seizure Wednesday night and was in the hospital the rest of the week until yesterday. I had to stay at her house on account of Joe's sister being mentally and physically handicapped and us being the only family she's got. IT SUCKED!
They're thinking that it my be epilepsy that has stayed dormant for the last 52 years. She goes back to the neurologist in 2 weeks.. but now she can no longer drive AT ALL.. which means that while I'm off work I'm going to be driving Miss Daisy a lot. The worst part is - you can't get Joe's sister into just any car due to her size ( under 4' 10" and over #400). So after the baby's born I don't know what she's going to do because there's NO WAY that I'm going to be able to get 2 car seats and a full grown woman into the back seat of ANY of our cars! Anyhow... that's been my week thus far - and now I'm off to do the stats. I've done some of it - and honestly they're looking pretty good. :) I'll be back!!! |

Eny good to see you back, but that is unfortunate. My son has a severe seizure disorder and I definitely know how difficult it can be.

Eny-I'm so sorry that your family is struggling right now. That's got to be super hard to deal with. :hug: I hope they get some answers and things work out for the best. I'm one of the ladies that's super close to her 4th of July goal. :) I'm hoping to get there this week, and if not this week then definitely next week. I've been eating my sparkpeople menu and I think it's definitely shaking up my normal eating plan. Hopefully that will make a difference as well. |

So...I just got back from my official weigh in from Curves. I only lost 5 pounds last week. :( I know...I know that is good...but Friday morning she weighed me at curves unofficially and I had lost 5 pounds...so I was hoping after Friday, Saturday, and Sunday I would have lost another pound or so...but nope. I'm not letting it get me down. I know several things are probably affecting my weight right now.... -TOM is approaching - Gaining muscle - I did eat well last week...but I didn't count every calorie...and there was alot of snacking here and there that probably added up... So...I'm just gonna keep exercising and I will be more strict with my calorie counting and logging this week and drink lots of water. I know I probably won't lose but 2-3 pounds a week now....my first week is my only big week.... So anywho....I'm sending Eny my official weigh in for this week. |
Melissa, 5 lbs is a huge deal! Congrats!!!! You're doing wonderfully, way to go on your hard work. Now to start week 2 and add to your sucesses.

Heya girls. Well done to everyone - you are all doing great. I'm so pleased I lost 2lbs this week as I didn't think I was going to. I gained slightly last week but my TOM came on just afterwards so I think that accounts for it. I have just 3.8lbs to go to reach my goal! I'm not so sure I can do it but I hope I do! I look forward to being in the 140's.
Oh and I too have made it to the beach. *Yay!* |

I just finished my 60 minute workout of the day! Gonna go swimming here in a little bit as soon as I get our stuff together!!! P.S. I will be at the beach party in just 445 more miles/minutes....I will be there in no time!!! So someone needs to be mixin' up some margaritas...tell the band to get warmed up...and start the bonfire!!! I'm gonna be ready to party and see some fireworks!!! |
well ladies i am here and do not have much to say. i really do not know how close to the beach i am i really have not been keep close tabs on it sorry i think i am just about there though.

but since i have gained i think it was better for the team :hug: to eny yr family is in my prayers no more vacations, moving, sickness, graduation, finals etc. i am OP today and plan to stay that way. i updated my ticker to my realistic weight and i am ready to be serious and conquer this. hopefully my comp will be fixed soon so i can get on here more. anyway i am going to the gym tonight ttyl. |
Eny - that's terrible. Is there any social worker you can talk to about your family situation to see if there are any community resources?
I did 20 min on the elliptical and 20 min on the stationary bike. Eating well today. It's gonna be another busy week! Keep up the good work girls! |
Thank you all for your thoughts and prayers. Things have just been a whirl wind since Feb. when I was let go... We'll make it through - just taking it one day at a time!
:congrat: to all of you that are at the Beach already! I made some serious head way this last week since I had NOTHING else to do! I'm over 1/2 way there and almost 1/2 way across the USA. I don't know if I'll make the beach by the 4th - It's getting harder and harder to move anything for any amount of time! I feel the size of a blimp right now!!!! :eek: But I'm going to do what I can! Delphi :yay: I KNEW you'd make goal this week! You were only #.2 away as of Friday! Keep it up and then you'll be able to significantly SURPASS your 4th of July goal in the next 2 weeks! Mel:woohoo: #5 is AWESOME! Especially since you had been one that was wavering back and forth with in the same #5-#7 for awhile now. KEEP IT UP!!! You HAVE to be strict to do this!!! It's not EVER going to be easy! But I KNOW you - and when determined you can do anything you set out to do!!! I don't EVER hear you struggling about passing classes - and School is HARD! But it's something that you WANT and something that you're determined to succeed at! I have full faith in you - and I'm glad that you have the free pass to Curves right now to get you moving in the right direction again! Diary My SIL has a special case worker through the state because of her condition and my MIL is talking with her this week to at least make sure that she can get to her day program. If not my MIL & SIL are going to go CRAZY sitting in the house together with NOTHING to do - and no way to get anywhere in this really HOT summer!!! It really is a sucky situation - but we'll all figure this out together. I'm SO excited about this week though! On Wednesday Hunter and I are driving out to my church camp for the day. It's the place that holds ALL of my best childhood memories. There's a family spiritual week this week and Hunter hasn't missed one since she was born. Unfortunately she won't be staying the whole week like normal - but we get to go out for the day. :yay: Then on Saturday is my Baby shower! I'm SO EXCITED! I can't wait to get stuff for Landon! :) Our summer keeps filling up quickly! I'm glad though - it'll make the next 9 weeks go by faster! :sunny: |

Nothing new here, as usual. TOM is basically gone, thank god. Less than a month till I get to see my family and friends again! :carrot: I want to change my WI day. Thursdays aren't working for me anymore, I've noticed that I tend to binge on the weekends especially after payday when I have a little (and I mean a little) money.
