Hey all!

I'm in again
SW:205
GW: 195

Rough week. Emotionally, foodwise, workwise, and our vacation home flooded this weekend. We drove 4 hours to Havasu, moved everything out - literally - and drove 4hours home in same day. What a way to spend 3 day weekend time.

I have to regroup. Gonna get my plan put together today, cooking up my meals now and gonna get 8 hours sleep. Lets kick this one off good ladies!

I'm determined I'm sticking with this group for the entire year. I'm not giving up, I will eventually start losing some weight, hopefully NOW.

Melissa, thanks for the neat challenge for the free beach vacation. I won't be able to make the entire 1400 because of my multiple sclerosis, but I will keep track with my minutes, and hopefully someone will give me a lift the rest of the way in when the challenge is over, lol.

I need to go back and figure up my Walk Across America, I do keep up with my exercise, so it won't be too hard to calculate I don't think.

Thank you Eny, too, for keeping us going!

Good Morning Ladies! :)

So are we supposed to report our exercise progress daily for the challenge? White sandy beaches sound groovy to me. :lol: And when we post progress do we keep a tally of all days in a single post, like other challenge threads or do we keep it to one post per daily routine?

Sorry for the questions, simply trying to get my footing in this challenge as well. At any rate, you ladies have a grrreat day ahead and good luck to you all. :)

I'll try this one!!! My goal...lose 6 pounds!! Starting weight 139. I think this is doable even though I really am in the home stretch of reaching my goal (which I probably will change when I reach it). But for now, I will stick with what I have. I would like to reach my goal of 130 by my birthday in August. I know these last 9 lbs will be the hardest yet to get rid of.

well i some how managed to gain 2 pounds yesterday so my starting weight for this challange is 179. i am still shooting for 170 as a goal. that changes the weekly goal to 1.8 pounds a week. still very doable. and yes i am up to going to miami.

Jazzy - don't worry hon - I'll give you a lift! Do what you can to get there! :)

Delphi - most of us put a tracker in our signature - but you do whatever you feel comfortable with. :) I'm updating my signature to reflect the new Beach Vacation Challenge. Seriously - how nice of Mel and I to pay for all of you to stay with us - as long as you can get there! :D

MM - I was thinking about you last night while I was laying on the couch. I was looking down at my ever expanding stomach thinking "WOW - I can't WAIT to do MMunches again!" Seriously! I think once I'm cleared after Landon's born I'm going to add in AT LEAST an additional 50 mmunches a day!

It's weird, but somehow I've managed to keep my waist that I worked SO hard for before! this little man is sitting COMPLETELY out front! I was GEEKED when I could still wear my size 12's to DD's dance recital last weekend - I just couldn't zip or button them. :lol: That my dears are what Bella Bands were made for! (actually it is there purpose... :)) When I was :preg: with hunter I went up 2 pant sizes - and I gianed less weight! Go figure... mabye the ol' wives are right and boys and girls make a HUGE difference in the way they are carried!

Jacque - :welcome: I can't imagine being #9 from goal! That's AWESOME!!! Keep with us and we'll work you through them. :D

Alright - time for this little momma to get DD to school and then I have to go and get my 1 hour glucose test done. :p I HATE the taste of the crap they make you drink! Oh well - it's for the better good of the little man! :D I'll check in with y'all later! :wave:

You ask all the questions you want to....I'm sure someone else has the same one so your helping them out as well :D As Eny said most put it in a ticker..but if you already have a full siggy or don't have siggy options you can do a 0/1400 min and update as you add exercise during your posts or at the end of the post....like once you do some exercise...for example say I did 15 minutes of dancing I would go 15/1400...and then later I did 15 minutes of strength then it would go to 30/1400 so forth and so on....:goodluck:

forgot to post my weight goals
1) weigh 175 or less by 7-4 doable
2) reach the beach heaven knows I need an all expense paid vacation.This ones on Eny and Mellisa. I all ready have over 40 miles!
I want to keep this sweet and simple so I don't get bogged down and over whelmed.

Pat - #181 is a TON better then when you and I met! And really it's #2 gain going through everything you've been through. Hang in there babe! I do need to know what your goal for this challenge is. Just post it in here. The weekly weighins (DUE ON FRIDAYS GIRLS!) are to be PM'd to me as normal. :D

Delphi - Looks like you're already on your way to the beach - AWESOME! I'm thinking that I'll do some :yoga: later too - depending on how I feel. I did walk around downtwon after my appt. for 1/2 hour too. Just to get outside a little. I LOVE :sunny:

We have a lot less peole this go around so far. I'm going to split up the teams tonight and post them in the morning... so if you know anyone looking for a good challenge tell them to get their butts in here! :coach:

Thanks...it's a struggle at this point...last week I fought with one pound all week long...so I know it will be hard...and next week TOM should be visiting and I know that this week is sort of the beginning of more of a struggle because of it....AARRRGGG!!!
