After being so excited at being 189ish for 3 days, what happens today??? You got it. I gain 2 pounds. I am not fretting. I did strength last night = gain. Mid-cycle time = gain. Double whammy!!. So, don't fret, right??
I am upping calories and got in a few miles of walking/jogging with my training buddy. I am doing all the right things. Must keep doing it. MM- Don't know how many calories you are eating, but have you figured out what you should eat these days? Maybe you're like me and need a few extras. Nix- I am not 25 pounds ahead of you. Isn't it like 15?? you can do this. No more injuries, got your mind in the right place, and a good solid plan. You can do this. |
Today was so so. Drank lots of water but too many carbs and didn't have time to work out. Some mindless eating at dinner. Worked late and had errands to run and then home life. I'm feeling blah.

Anywho, took Kris' suggestions yesterday and seriously, drank my water!! Drank approx 120 oz at work and 16 more at home (great bug tupperware cup I nursed all night) and this morning, I had managed to get rid of a pound and a half of the sodium I am carrying around. Will try and repeat that today. Mindy, I haven't got it all figured out yet, but am going back to Fitday to log everything I eat and my exercise, hopefully will be able to sort out a pattern there. I was thinking that too when I saw your post about upping a bit. I also am going to continue with the pedometer, seems a great way to track whether I am moving enough in life mode without taking in to account the "on purpose" exercise. Jaya, love the funnies! Good morning everyone. I woke up feeling like I am getting a cold :( Not happy about that. Now I am debating whether or not it will be a good idea to workout. If I do make it over to the gym it will be a light workout, probably on 30 minutes. I will let you all know what I end up doing.

Didn't do real well yesterday. It was my loooong work day (starts at 6 a.m.) so I started drinking soda for the caffeine; I don't think I got in a single glass of realio trulio water all day. And I passed on going to the pool after I was done; played couch potato and caught up on some TV. Most positive thing about my day is that I stayed OP.
BUT I got up this morning and did my 5 miles and have sucked down 3 glasses of water! So a new day, a new start! |

Just popped on to say hi, get some encouragement to get my own water consumption started, and to be sure that Jcat was not abducted by aliens. Seems thats the only thing left to happen in her world. ;) E32 where are you???? I love the chat thing idea, and will do my best to get there if SOMEONE WOULD PICK A FREAKING TIME! Post it when you girls decide! Mtiggie... okay so maybe its like 18 lbs but it feels like 25. I am gunning for ya though. I have started my back to work day on target with food. Thinking I will check out fitday for logging my stuff. Fooey, gotta get back to it. Will check back after work. The boss is calling :) |
Real quick. American Idol finale just started. Can't miss that. Just wanted to say i am on target. Did HIIT tonight. Scale was at 189.2....again. Can I see a lower number now???

Bad food day. DHs b-day today meant KFC and choclate cake at dinner. Ate mindlessly and fast so I didn't really enjoy. My saving grace for the day has been water and I did WATP 3 Miles after dinner. Oh, and a short walk at lunch. Not holding much hope for a loss this week. The scale this a.m is still way up. Does anybody believe in set point? I think I have mine. I'm pretty much at my pre-preggos weight before both my kids. rant, rant, rant.

So I came home with the intention to go on a walk. Ended up kinda laying on my bed talking and giggling with BF. Something we haven't really done in a long time. The planets aligned, we were both relaxed and happy and had some time with no others demanding our attention. It was nice. I did fair with food today. Need to hunker down tomorrow. Cant wait to see the scale move again. Only drank 16oz of water today. Bad Krissy!:mad: Hope you all are having a good night. Tiggie... heres to 188 tomorrow for ya! Be good to your selves! |

I have news. Apparantly, I'm going to be an aunt. :^: My BFF called me today and gave me the news. It hasn't really hit me in the face yet, but when it does, WATCH OUT! All you are going to read is baby this, baby that! :lol: When they say it comes in threes, it does. First there was Eny, then my friend Adriana, now Nikki. Then Sushine called and asked me to be one of her bridesmaid. This puts more pressure on me because the other two girls are way smaller than me and Sunshine says she wants our dress to be sexy and eye-catching. :eek: I did Day 1 of both the pushup and squat challenges yesterday and my thighs still hurt! WI tomorrow! :crossed: For some reason, I've been baking muffins for three days straight. No worries, I've taken all of them to work, only had 1 (or 1/2 of 1) from each batch. :carrot: Vanessa and Tony should be home tomorrow (I think) so the strippers have to go. :cry: :grouphug: |

Went shopping today for capris. Guys, I got 3 size 14's and freakin size 12 pair.OMG, WTH, Lord have mercy, what else can I say. The shock has not worn off yet. Then I did WATP tonight (I'm with ya Grazie). Will do a 5k tomorrow with the workout bud. WOW!!! That's all I can say.

Got home tonight, BF was down on himself, I was starving. After a handfull of cheetos and 3 glasses of milk (huh?) We decided to go on a walk. Hit the pavement for an hour lwith the dog. Felt fantastic!

I think I'm going to recommit to my buddy Jorge Cruise and his workout plan. I need to walk but i'm tired. I know that if I exercise, I'll sleep better at night :) I ate a ham sammich and a serving of easy mac n cheese. My goal this weekend is to get plenty of food grilled, some exercise in, so i feel better. Friend of mine from home went a bizarre route with her weight loss that concerns me. I guess since her doc is the one who put her on this plan then he knows what he's doing....however if he's the same doc I had growing up, then no, I don't trust him.
She's eating pretty much lean protein, certain fruits (consumed before 3 pm) and veggies. No sauces, dressings, or anything like that for I think she said 38 days. After day 5 her doc gave her some kind of hormones. Wait, after day 22 she can have dressings....but up to that point no dressings, no olive oil, all her protein has to be baked, not fried, i don't know about grilled. Anyway after 38 days on this plan he's going to start giving her MORE hormones. She has no hormone problems as far as I know. To me this seems drastic, and I honestly think this has something to do with the boyfriend she has. But I won't get into that. Anyway her doc seems to think that her weight has something to do with her hormones....and so he has her on this eating plan, with a "natural" detox pill, and then plans on giving her more hormones when she's dropped off....i think about a pound a day. It just makes me a bit nervous. I think I can control my own foods better than having to deal with a doctor.....then again last time i had my thyroid levels tested I was normal...if you can call ANYTHING about me normal LOLOLOLOL Big hugs to all of you.....i hope you're doing well. I will try keep updating and posting this weekend :) I have no plans because well, it'll be too packed, rates awfully high for the holiday weekend, and there are things I suppose I could be doing that are more useful LOL |
