You are a bunch of Chatty Chicks! I don't have time to keep up with all the posts! So for now, I'll just say keep it up, ladies and here are my stats to date:

Goal: 30 minutes of cardio four times per week

May 1: Spin class (45 mins)
May 2: Treadmill (30 mins HIIT)
May 3: Treadmill (30 mins HIIT)

Jacqui_D: Strength train three times a week; walk 30 min every day
CakeBatter: Run 44 miles; finish 5K race in under 36:00; do Push-up Challenge (thru wk 4); do 30 consecutive PU / EOMo; 20/20/20/20 (twice/wk)
Tammyjo: Exercise at least 4 times a week
Jacque9999: Stick with exercise program set up with workout buddy; make sure daughter starts (and sticks with) boot camp starting May 19th
Shrinkingleah: Train (gym) twice a week; walk one mile or eliptical 30-45 min three days a week

Ilike, I think I have yours right, but please let me know if I don't, and I'll correct it. It's so great that you have the whole month planned out like that! Very organized!

Fressca, LOL! Yes we are a bunch of Chatty Chicks, lol! It helps some of us stay motivated! Don't worry if you are too busy to jump in on the personals; we're still here for you!!

CMof4 Sandye, you know that might be a good idea splitting up your time working out. As long as you get the minutes in, it doesn't matter if you do them all at once. In any event, you're doing a great job, so keep it up!

Well, I got my strength training in today, and I am beginning to like it more and more! I also broke my walk into 15 min before and 15 min after, so that worked out well!

Yes, you got it perfectly! I've found that if I don't plan things in advance, I often stray away from them, if not stop them all together! If I can get myself to commit to an actual routine for a month, then I know I can do it for much longer. Thanks for the welcome, this is an awesome site and I can't wait to get started.

Welcome to all the new people and congrats to all of you you have been keeping up with the exercise so far .

Jacquie: I love strength training. I like picturing my muscles growing and getting toned while I do it. Cardio on the other hand.....

I took the weekend off, but I am back at it again today, I have finished my formal workout and I will still go for a walk later today.

May 1st: 45 min free step and stability ball workout.
May 2: Off
May 3: Off
May 4: 20 min free step and 15 min. ball workout = 35 min

Ok, so I haven't had the best start to May. It hasn't been bad per se. I've avoided binging type behavior, but the weekend was filled with birthday parties/end of school year parties for the boys. Last party was this morning. So, I haven't gotten any exercise in yet. Ugh. But that'll change this afternoon. When the boys wake up from naps, I'll go running and push them in jogging stroller. Since I'll be pushing ~90 pounds of boys and stroller, my goal is to run 2 miles without stopping and walk/run the 3rd mile. So, while May looks pitiful now, it should look better today. I'm listing the running today for accountability and will come back and edit if I end up running or walking more than expected.
5/1 - none
5/2 - none
5/3 - none
5/4 - 2 mile run with extra mile walk/run, pushing stroller

NSM, I'm with you! I do not like cardio. My body doesn't like cardio! I am perfectly contented to stick to strength training and walking!

Mcrunner, that's some workout! I bet your boys LOVE it!

I am back from my weekend away with my daughter and after a weekend of eating really bad but really good stuff I am so ready to start this!

May 4: Walked 2 miles
Gardened 3-4 hours (raked rocks, prepped garden for planting - it is small but was a huge mess!)

Good job everyone! Keep up the good work. It really makes me want to keep up with everyone. See you all tomorrow.

hey I made it to the gym. I did 2-1/2 miles and I did my pushups woohoo. I forgot my t-shirt and had to wear a zip-up hoodie with my sports bra. Oh well as long as I got it in.

Quick note--finishing my last ever college papers...hopefully in the next three hours--walked 1 mile today and I WILL do my push-ups. I will, I will.

total/walk/run - 9.2/1/8.2

I'm so impressed with how many ladies are posting, and keeping up with their exercise goals!! You guys are great! More soon...when I'm free!! : )

Popping in early this morning simply to say Good Morning all! Early riser and an early exerciser..the only time I really have time to get on the treadmill, is before all my boys get up in the morning. You ladies have a fantastic day.
