Hi, thought I might have lost ya there.... But am glad you are on board for Feb. I am keeping my goal at 50 because it is a short month......... I can always push for more If I have the time. Today, I got out because the weather was GORGEOUS!!! and tomorrow it is supposed to be cold and they are calling for snow!!! I can't wait until spring! Anywho, I walked for 3.8 miles today, and did upper body weight routine. Hope you got some mileage in too.

glad to see you all wanting to join, the more the merrier!!!! I did a bunch of sleding, snowball fighting, and tromping in the snow today!!! but not sure the mileage. Will get back to conventional miles tomorrow, today will just count as too much fun!!!!

QUESTION I have a quick question???? I put on pedometer when i get out my car at the university because i walk around campus all day....right now im at 2.18 and i havent been on the treadmill or walkin yet...Is my walkin around the campus excluded..beacuse i park even futher from class to boost my miles...is this a yes or no????????????????? I use a pedometer, and I know that i usually walk about 3000 steps in any given day, so If I make little changes during my day(parking farther), I give myself anything over my average. I try not to use it as my primary source of exercise, but somedays that is all I get. I really need to get sweaty to make a difference, but I was told if you did it purposely as extra exercise, it counts.
Today I walked 7500 steps (3.55 miles) So I am gonna count 1.75 miles! Just my opinion and how I do it , use your judgement! WELCOME, thanks for joining in!!!!! |

I got 2 miles in on Sunday. My fiancé surprised me with a trip to Monterey and we walked on the wharf and around the city. I haven't hit the gym but I am tomorrow. I am itching to get on that bike. LOL but I got 2 miles in so I am happy about that. I am sooooo happy there are so many new people. Lewisempire kicked butt last month so I am going to try and follow in her footsteps this month. Hope everyone is doing good!! When I get on a computer I will update my signature. Right now I'm on my phone :-/ |

lewisempire: thanks i think ill do the same since i walk so much any ways...dont know how i put on the weight as much as i walk...lol (yea i do..taco bell & sonic) Ok ladies i took off the pedometer after i logged on yesterday cuz that lil sucker was pinchin my skin ..lol so ive done 2.18 for yesterday. I didnt get a chance to go to the gym , but i attended a great seminar on way to make money WHOOPEE..a college student like me needs all the legit money i can get! Did another 1.5 today for a total of 5.2 miles. :carrot: I am pretty happy with myself since I haven't gone on my treadmill in months.

Nicki rose...dont beat yourself on time thats already gone ....just push yourself to strive in the next 24 day ..U CAN DO IT...most people do more walking outside of exercise time than they do during a normal work out.....so just go for it! 2.58 for today 6.86/50 miles One for every 5lbs! :carrot::carrot: |

IIIIMMMM BAAACCCKKK, I was sick on Thursday, and Friday we headed for Nashville. We walked about a million miles, but I am only logging 2.5 miles for the weekend and try to convince myself to get on the ski tonight! Everyone looks like they are rockin it! It is AWESOME!

I did wear a pedometer all weekend because im lazy and today was a crazy day so only .40 for today

Did everyone get kidnapped? I hope to see some of you back here soon. I did 3.0 miles tonight on the nordic track. that brings me up to 21.8. I am really gonna have to hussle, and get back into my habit of at least 2+miles a day to make it to my goal this month!!!!!!!

I did 2.7 miles tonight on my ski machine. Only 10 days left to make the mark! This month has flown by. I have to do 2.3 miles a day to make goal. In November, I fell short by 9 miles, and I added it on the next month. I really had to hustle to make up those miles. I DO NOT want to do that again.:nono: It has been rainy, & wet here so no walking, or hiking for me lately, that is how I usually rack up the miles quick. i will be stuck indoors, on my "magic" ski machine. The miles take a lot longer on that thing. Sorry for rambling. Hope you keep moving! I am sending a little:kickbutt: out to our other 50 milers, I hope it will help... |
