Default Shrink into the New Year - INCHES CHALLENGE!

So the scale has not been my friend... In two months I've buoyed between 168-164 lbs and still on any given day I could be anywhere in that range. But in 2 weeks of doing Jillian Michaels' 30 Day Shred, I've lost 6 inches!! (would've been 6.5 if not for a gain in the arms)

I thought instead of being pouty about the scale, I could get a group of us together determined to see some INCHES melt away! And what better day to be looking good than NEW YEAR'S!

To figure out how many inches you want to lose, I'd recommend looking at some sizing charts and figuring how many inches you need to drop to move down a size or two and probably round up because sizing charts don't often factor bust, calves, knees, etc. For instance, most of my measurements fall around a size 16, and my hips are about an 18. I'd love to be a 14 in two months and will have to lose 7.25 inches from my chest, waist, hips, thighs and upper arms to achieve this. I'm going to aim for 14 total inches lost (making -20 since I started exercising), since I was able to lose 6 in just two weeks. Granted I am losing faster from my upper body and may not lose the 3.75 inches from my hips that I need for a sz 14, but however the 14 inches leaves my body, I'll still be thrilled!

I measure the magic 10: chest, bust, waist, stomach, hips, thighs, knees, calves, upper arm and forearm. If you measure fewer places, your goal should be lower.

New Year's is 66 days away!

Anyways, I hope some of you will join me and we can burn inches together. Since measuring yourself everyday is less practical than weighing yourself everyday, I figure we can check in with progress, report on exercises & diets that are helping/not helping and vent some frustrations (I know I have some!).

For those of you that want to post your measurements, I'll be brave and kick it off (all in inches):
Bust - 39
Chest - 35.75
Waist - 33.5
Stomach - 40.25
Hips - 46.75
Thighs - 27.5
Knees - 17.5
Calves - 15.5
Upper Arm - 13.5
Forearm - 9.75

I'll be measuring myself every 5-7 days as I've found there's at least a little measurable change after that time. And by the way, JM 30 Day Shred is great for losing inches! I've done 16 days of it with great results, as have many others on the JM thread.

So come join me! Let's shrink together!

I am going to jump into this challenge too since I will be starting 30DS on Tuesday. Also where do you measure your chest since you have bust up there too? Yeah I know a juvenile question but the tata's are usually just one measurement for me so I need to know these things! lol

Okay, starting numbers....

Bust--46.5
UnderBust-- 39
R Bicep-- 14.5
L Bicep-- 15
Waist--42.5
Hips-- 48
Thighs--44
R Calf--17
L Calf--17

And for goals I would like to see all of my body parts under 40 inches. That means I need to target bust, waist, and hips. The waist and hips are the issue, once I get losing again the girls shrink up rather quickly I may not make this goal, but it's what I am aiming for.
