Jammy - the weights class was something. Yeow. I didn't think that it would be involving huge high reps so I grabbed my normal heavy dumbbells. The crazy instructor was going to 30 reps and I was floundering. Normally I go for 6-10 reps. The HRM said I burned 892 calories in that hour. Yikes.

How well you know me Jammy. 100% correct - I wouldn't give in and use smaller weights.

I'm not sure what the class was about. I don't think it was really cardio - as in doing moves that require coordination and grace where I would fall down. But it was cardio in a sense because of the high reps and rapidly moving from one move to another. I've never done a cardio class, I have no rhythm.

It was interesting, I would do it again. Unfortunately, I don't have a membership to that gym - my trainer's twin sister invited me, she teaches it. She's been doing the class for 26 years, so she's really perfected it.

No weigh in yet girlies! I stayed up all night catching up on things and it would be a terrible number.

Ok I'm posting my weight. :) I didn't post yesterday because I knew the number would be inflated by all the salt I ate (1/2 sleeve of saltines, anyone?).

At least I'm back into the 160s again - despite a blip up.

I'm still OP, but the weight goes up...probably all muscle! lol. Once again, I appear to be going for that "first one to gain 5 lbs" award. I'm not bitter.

no change. it's going to be tough to lose this coming week, my calories have been spot on the last week and really no weight loss. I seem to be down a pound though, my size 8 pants were way too big today.

I'm so not weighing today. Last night was Christmas Eve at my mom's and I saved all my calories for it but still managed to eat 3329!!! My absolute highest should be 1750 to lose, I try to stay around 1500. I need 2300 to maintain so , yup, I probably gained a bit! Trying to keep my week low so as to know do too much damage. Nothing going on today. I'm trying to get in a run and eat at 1200 cals today. Tomorrow I have a few things planned after that...I'm ridding myself of all stuff in my house. I have another party on Saturday...I'll bring whatever is left to that.

No change here, which is lucky after a stupid and unappetizing on the run dinner of beef jerky. Christmas shopping last night, best decision in the check-out lane. I thought for sure that would cause a temporary gain. I feel ick, I need a lot of veggies today. Didn't sailors used to live off of jerky and end up with scurvy? Poor fellows.

I'm hanging in right now - yogurt and fruit and lots of water ... but we go over to my in-laws tonight and spend tonight and tomorrow. So the calorage will begin then for me. ;)
