Hey everyone!
I did get in a :swim: today of 0.75 miles but now I can't lift my arms or move my shoulders!!!! :D But I am feeling better as I was getting really stressed out about the holidays-:eek: how am I going to get this all done!-but decided to head to the gym instead of the cookie jar. :) So, to date, I am at: 24.45/50 still flirting with the half-way mark but maybe tomorrow! Hope everyone is doing well and getting in their miles!! :carrot: |
Hey UROCKMOM- Great job on chosing the gym! It is easy to lose sight this time of year. It is really important that you make time for yourself!
I had to really talk myself in to my workout today too. It is very cold and wet, and I am not used to this weather. All I want to do is curl up under a ton of blankets! But I did get 2 miles on the nordic track which warmed me up for a while! lets keep each other moving toward our goal!:cp: |
I am down for this challenge! I often walk my kids to school because we only have one car right now. School is 1.4 miles from the house and I have to walk that four times a day when I don't have the car so, I will start tracking the days I do that on here. I will also try and pay attention to what I do in the gym when I run on the treadmill.
Here is what I have walked so far... Monday, December 8th - 5.6 miles Tuesday, December 9th - 5.6 miles Wednesday, December 10th -5.6 miles I will be headed for a walk a lil later today hopefully I can get in another 5.6 miles today! |
Blech, I have been sick for the past 3 days w/ the flu. No activity happening here. :(
On the plus side, I am beginning to feel better today. I am antsy to start exercising again....if I feel up to it, I am going to try for a leisurely walk a little later on today. I know I won't be up to doing the C25k today...but I am hoping I can start Week 2 tomorrow. I am excited to get the 2nd half of this weight off. I've been sitting on my laurels for the past couple of weeks and now, especially after this sickness, I am remotivated to reach my ultimate goal! How is everybody else doing? Probably busy, right? :p |
Ohhhh Esperanzabella.... I am so sorry to hear you've been sick:( I am glad you are feeling better, just take it slow until you are 100% again. The Flu sucks!
I took advantage of some decent weather today, it was cold but not rainy! I got 4.25 miles in for a total of 28.5/59!!!! Hope everyone is is doing good, and staying healthy! |

Well, I am sort of touch and go w/ this flu...I did get in a walk last night, tho so :yay: for that!
12/15 2.5 mile walk December Mileage Total: 21.25 I am just going to try to do what I can this month, as opposed to trying to meet a goal. I really want to do more exercise-wise, but at the same time I don't want to run my body down while it's trying to build itself back up! Lewis, you are doing awesome this month. Keep it up! :cheer: Zeta, glad to see you getting those miles in! :carrot: I am going to take a 3 mile walk today. Am hoping and wishing to get back to the gym tomorrow. This is so frustrating!!!! Grrrrrrrrrrr! |
I'll Join in the challenge for the rest of the month, I've been keeping track of my mileage. So far 47.9/90.

Sorry I was away but I got in no mileage at all over the weekend!!! :( And I felt like a slug too! Anyway, today I climbed back on that elliptical for 2 miles. Let's keep movin' chicks! |
I took a walk today and it started raining halfway through, but I had a rain jacket w/ a hood on so I just popped my hood on and continued on my way!

Thanks EsperanzaBella82 glad to be part of the challenge. In the last 4 weeks I've been making it a point to run 20 miles each week, I'm hoping to do an extra 10 this month.

I was christmas shopping yesterday, my friend wanted starbucks, so I comprimised, and told her I would have a sf coffee with sf syrup, no whipped cream. if she walked with me.... well I got a mile in yeah! It isn't much, but considering she almost never exercises, it was good, and at least I can log atleast a mile. sooo29.5 is my new total!! |
