Morning all, just a quick fly by on my way to the shower!

Nice to see so many new faces!

W 100 oz, this one has been getting away a bit. Need to make this a real effort today.
E OP, need to plan my food and stick to it. No junk.
E Knees are bothering, have not been getting C25K in, try week 3 day 1 again tonight, I will go back to week 3 and see if I can get thru that. Doing my crunches now before I get in the shower.
D I am worth it. I really struggle with depression, I eat when I am down, then I get more down because I gain weight, need to break this cycle. If I can see it, I can handle it.

Hi Grazer...Mmavis...I'm back. And soooo dedicated this time!! I have put on about 23/24 pounds since i stopped going to the gym in february and stopped eating so healthy. So, today is the start of a new day. I got up and made my breakfast today. I made my eggwhite omelet today with fat free cheese and chopped ham, drinking my water already this morning (big improvement for me...i haven't drank water in i don't know how long). I am planning to head back to the gym in january (after christmas when i'm not spending my extra money on christmas.

ok Wow for today:

W-64 ounces
E- 1500 cal.
E- 20 min of something aerobic
D- time to get back in my 4's comfortably.

Hi LUMI! We've missed you!!! I didn't realize it had been since February that you stopping going to the gym, did I misread that?! Either way, you caught yourself in time. Are you going to go back to the gym? Are you still a member there?


I guess it's scary to think you can get that comfortable with yourself at goal (or pretty close to goal) and it can start to slip away. I hate to be negative but weight loss is like being on borrowed time, in my mind. My mind wants to just work my way down and then I can go back to my old ways even though I KNOW that's not possible. Like when I got to 220 if I had a bad weekend and ate badly or drank too much and saw the scale creep up, I thought, why bother? I'm just "on borrowed time" anyway.

But I am rambling. I'm not feeling negative right now anyways. I started #10297471932430943 time...here goes again. I'm kinda mad at DH He was supposed to take Rachel to daycare this morning so I could sleep(back to work tonight after a week vacay) and get up and go to the gym. But he said he didn't sleep well and overslept so he didn't take her. So having her I can't get to the gym (daycare at the gym costs the same as the membership! So I didn't sign up for it!) But I've been chugging the water and eating OP. Yes I know it's only been a few hours. I know. I could work out at home, that's just not my thing.

But I did pick up the 30 day shred yesterday, it was in the discount bin at the grocery store, can you believe it!

I get so blue around the holidays. Maybe if money weren't so tight (I know, for everyone) I could get into the spirit. There's so much I WANT to do for everyone, it's just not in the cards. I promise every year to start earlier but you just don't think about Christmas in July LOL.

Oops! I posted in the old thread. Here is what I posted


Scale was down this morning 169.2 Finally in the 160s! I did sleep in this morning after going to bed real late last night so I weighed an hour or two later than normal but still I'm excited.

I didn't eat that great yesterday but not that bad but I guess after all the exercise I've been doing its finally starting to show up on the scale. This motivates me to keep on the right track.

Had a good day today. I drank over 64oz of water, exercised about 65 minutes (walking/jogging), ate around 1550 calories.
Tomorrow WEED:
W: 64-96oz
E: hopefully 1 hour, maybe treadmill and weights or pilates
E: around 1600 calories
D: get some papers graded

I actually did good over the weekend. It's a miracle! Hope all of you are doing well. Weighed in on Sunday and I'm down a pound. Here's my stats for Dec 8

D- was actaully a lazy day so not much got done

Lumi, welcome back!

NurseMichelle, Isn't it funny the things that set us off, like DH not taking Rachel to daycare? Maybe not funny at the time, but that is the stuff that sets me off too. With my DH it's when I have a day off and he can't let the dogs out before he leaves. Ever. Nope, he can't spare the 5 minutes, so he leaves them to wake me up, cause they need to get out!! Anyway, cheer up, it'll be all good. As for Christmas, you are not alone, we all feel strapped this time of year.

I had a better planned day yesterday, need to stay on that straight and narrow.

Was 200 straight up this morning... MTiger what's up? Are we on the same plan? Oh thats right, I ate Red Robin. Got my lunch packed already, calories counted except for dinner. its my night to cook.... lovely.

Happy Tuesday girls! So good to see you all again...NMichelle, missed ya. Thanks for the welcome back. Nixmom, soo good to see you here still too. Grazer, glad to see you again!! Mothermavis....thanks for the welcome back.

Nmichelle...you read that right. I haven't been to the gym since february. It's weird, for some reason in february i decided i'd rather spend time at my bf's apartment instead of going to the gym. He was unemployed and bored, so he wanted me to come over more often. Then, i just got where i couldn't afford it, he couldn't afford it and i had to stop going. Then he moved in with me in july and didn't go back to work until september. Now, we've been playing catch up on the bills and now it christmas time. So....i do plan to pay what i owe the gym (2 months membership fees) and hopefully the Y will let me just jump back on track without having to pay membership fees. So...January, i will be going back to the gym. I wish i had caught my weightloss sooner but i just was enjoying not caring about how much food i was eating. Now, i have to retrain my mind to count every calorie and not to want to eat junk food or over do it at dinner. I can't wait to get back to the gym though.

Good news is i can still squeeze in my size 4's (although any snug blouses show my love handles (which go all the way around my pants...not just on the sides...lol).

Today's Weed:
W- 64 ounces
E- 1500 calories
E- yeah...right (maybe a walk at lunch but i have to go to grocery store on lunch break, so maybe not)
D- it's a new day, watch what you put in your mouth.

I didn't Get much of a chance this weekend to post. Wow I got sick. But I have been doing okay with my food and I am planning my first workout since October13 (YIKES). My scale is up about 5 poundsfrom my low of 147 but I am sure it will get back there soon.

Hallo my dahlings! Bad girl....I worked last night and set my alarm for 1 pm(to go to the gym before getting the kidders from school/daycare)...actually DID get up at one! But I'm still sitting here on the computer!!! I've been playing these silly freeroll poker tournaments (play money only, I promise!) on PokerStars and lost track of time. But I'm off tonight and tomorrow so all is not lost, I can still go tonight maybe.

Last night was STRESSFUL at work! But there is a difference between chaos and the kind of stress where you are in control of all the mess and you actually get everything done, and everyone is better off....the latter is the kind of night I had. Won't bore you with the details but I did feel pretty good about myself when I left this morning. Plus being so busy I didn't sit around and eat or drink soda to stay awake. I didn't even finish the lunch I took with me.

Jeni, what ever came of the neurologist visit? Have you had any more problems? What are the kids getting for Christmas this year?

AMY HOLYT....dahling, where are you!??!!?! Hopefully not buried underneath the office work....come out, come out wherever you are!

Awright, Lumi, did you get in the walk at lunch? Or did you at least get your OP grocery shopping done? OOOhhhh I remember when you were going to the gym, weren't you talking to some beefcake weight lifter? (I think you and the BF were on a "break"~a la Friends) I don't know why I remember that!

Nixie, seriously, I laugh, literally, right out loud when you post....oh that's right, I went to Red Robin!!! Between you and me and our beer and cheeseburgers(and visits to the casinos!) , we are out of control! What's the latest with the problem child? You haven't mentioned him in awhile. I LOVE that, "Going for FINE in 09!" I think I read somewhere once, "A year from now, you'll wish you'd started TODAY!" and this time next year, we will be glad we did! I promise you that.

MMavis, I love that you get my warped mind!! LOL Is the commitment to Christmas thread still going? I remember thinking that was so far away when you started it in summer, and here we are! Thinking about starting a summer challenge? LOL I am really impressed with your C25K progress too! Are you doing it on a treadmill or elliptical? I try that darn program and can't do day one, about two bursts of the "jogging" and I walk the rest. I should keep with it though.

Wouldn't it be awesome if a treamill came equipped with a C25K program, just plus in day/week you're on and the machine sped up/slowed down when you were supposed to? I think I could do what the treadmill made me do, but I don't have the heart to increase the settings manually. Ha ha.

ButterflyDiva...lol you are going to have to tell me what Konditioning Katami is! Is it a DVD? Sounds martial artsy/pilates to me....Good on you for being good over the weekend. Last weekend was a bust for me as usual. We bowl on Saturday nights and that just equals BEER and FRIED FOOD appetizers. Well I can usually avoid the snacks, but damn, draft beer just goes down too smooth. LOL

Grazer! Thanks for starting the week's thread, where are ya!? Busy hectic season/work week? Did you get your holiday decorating done yet?

Well I just killed 45 minutes of my day spent not eating. LOL I had my oatmeal (honestly, some days I could just PUKE oatmeal..but it is very filling for the calories, usually holds me over til the next meal.) Oh well let me make it a WEED thing...

today is my "short day" work midnights, get up at 1pm go to bed tonight at 10pm so the numbers look a little strange.

W- 2-3 liters
E- Ok, oatmeal and banana for breakfast 1pm. Will grab apple to take to pick up kids (3:30p) dinner will be something lunch-y like soup and sandwich or big salad....snack will be protein shake(I use Kashi energy shakes with whatever frozen fruit I have on hand, I usually do strawberries! YUM!)
E- Should have, should have gone to the gym. But we'll see, maybe DH will want to go the community center and do a mini workout, always mini because the kids whine the whole time to leave.
D-Remember that no matter what you weigh, you are at SOMEONE else's goal or mini goal...Right now if you are upset to be 210 or 199, just remember I would LOVE to be that!!! But I need to remember that someone who weighs 300 or so would LOVE to be where I am right now.

LUMILUMILUMILUMILUMILUMILUMI! Finding the thread today has been the best part of my day.

They put my grandmother in the hospital today. Said she has kidney troubles. She's the only grandparent I have left. From what mom said she'll be on dialysis now

I start my last classes today girls. I thank you all so much for supporting me through school. I hope to put myself on track once I'm done, but I will do what I can until I'm done.

It's been a long and stressful day. We're supposed to get a tree tonight...hubby flies out on friday.....hopefully just a week instead of 2....

I'll post more later...i am glad to see you today girls

Hi HolyT.

The neurologist set me up with an EEG and MRI and LOTS of blood work (may make DH drive me to and from blood work Those will all be done on friday. Then I have a follow up appt on Wed. He seems to think it is just stress but he wants to rule out the "big hitters". (Tumor, Anurism, MS) I feel better some days, then worse some days. This weekend was really bad, but Monday and Tuesday were great, we will see about today.

Christmas????? Well the kids each get a CD, a new coat, a couple pair of jammies, slippers, underwear, socks, playdogh kits, Tommy is getting a train set with a table and Makenna is getting the Princess Kitchen. Guess what I am actually done shopping for them except for stocking stuffers I only have 5 more kidlets to shop for and DH. What about Robert and Rachel?

Here is to a good WEEDy day!! Normal Normal for me
