Hi everyoneeeeee,
Been a long time ladies, It was nice to read all your posts. I too, like rockmom, was without power for several days. Everything is back to normal now but still working on catching up on sleep. Been a lot of excitement around here, the furnace blowing out the night we got power back and a house alarm going off early this morning! lol. As for my eating the past week, we went out to eat or get take out. I didn't totally gorge but I definitely was not OP either. I went to the market the other day and got all my ingredients and am back at it, one week until Christmas! I'll weigh in then and see how I do.
Hattie, hi there : ). I think what your doing is super and as far as focusing on YOU now and not wanting to derail, I don't see that as selfish at all, on the contrary. You have worked long and hard and a derailment can make things very difficult. For me, a derailment (particularly in regards to extent and duration) can really throw me off course and then it can be so hard to start again. Your on a roll Hattie, keep it going lady! Keep doing what your doing, your doing great! Regarding Christmas, etc. I am sure once you get all of your christmas shopping done you will feel a sense of releif, it wont be hanging over your head. I think your photo calender idea is super!
Hi Christian : ), your maintaining right now sounds like a plan. Quite frankly, I feel that's a feat initself right now (during the holidays) and I am striving for the same though I hope for a loss by christmas so my outfit fits good! lol Oh boy, one week left....I am going to have to work like the dickens to make it happen, maintain the rest of the month and then I want to start January with a real kicker and take it from there. I am glad you had a nice time at that church musical, enjoy the holidays and keep shining
Marybeth, congratulations on the 2 lb. loss!

keep up the great work!

.
Msperception, I hope that your cold is gone and that you are feeling well now. Regarding you metaphor "minefield of a season" lol. That is exactly how I feel about it right n ow and I keep running into those darn mines! My goal is for a clear passage this week

.
urockmom, I was thinking about you and figured you were out of power too those days. I am glad you got yours back too when you did as I know a lot of people were still out as of the other day. I was counting my lucky stars that I had finished my Christmas shopping prior to the outage. I think it's the first time I was done so early (early for me). I don't enjoy the stores when they get too crowded and due to our crazy weather it happened to me so many times that I would get stuck home in a storm and not be able to go out so I prepared for that this year! good thing. I guess we are due for some snow friday night and then a doozy on sunday. I got a flatyesterday and never made it to the post office, stuck here today but tomorrow while the weather is cooperative I am getting my tail ou there before the next storm. So true about thinking what it was like in the days no one had electricity! How nice to get power back and hot water! That woodstove fireplace insert we got in the fall ended up being a godsend. It has a cooktop on top too so DH could boil his water for coffee and even heat up soup! Well, I am glad your well urockmom and all is ok up there now, stay warm!
Hi sbd sass, I know how frustrating the yo yo thing can be...just keep at it girl, we still have a few weeks left to ths month.
Leneeeeeee, hello there! Your sorry for the book long post?

What about mine???? lol

aw you, come on.....we love to hear your news. My days have been interspersed as well between good and bad ones but boy am I thankful for the good ones, those good days inbetween can really make a big difference in as far as things not getting too far out of hand andhelping make a maintenance possible and things not the scale not madly spiraling upwards (which is what would happen to me without those good days). I think you have a good plan in place lene regardring your exercise goals and using the equipment, etc. Hang in there and keep at it. It sounds like you might be a good canditate for a treamill someday as you love your running so much. I know it isn't the same though, nothing beats the high of the outdoor stuff. Our days are getting longer now by about a minute a day so t hat's good

. Awesome goals lene, keep at it ....high five.
Well it feels good to be back here. I hope you are all enjoying the holiday season. Let's keep it going and manage t hrough t he holidays as best we can. A big

for you all, have a super day ladies
