50 Miles In November!!
 
:dancer:HELLO ALL WHO MADE IT TO 50 MILES IN NOVEMBER, AND ANYONE WHO MADE AN EFFORT! There were several members that blew the 50 mile marker out of the water! I thought that was a great motivator! I hope you will all join me again to run, bike, spin, dance, walk or whatever for at least 50 miles in November! I know we can do it:coach::dust:

I love the willpower dust! Count me in for this month. Since I did over 50 last month, I'm upping my goal to 70miles walking this month!

To start us off:

November 1: 2.5 miles on treadmill
November 2: 4 miles WATP with Leslie Sansone DVD

6.5 / 70miles done so far!

I'm in! The last two months, I found that once I hit my goal, I subconsciously slacked off, so I'm going to seriously up my goal this month - 90 miles! I've ridden my bike everyday so far, but didn't log the miles, so I'm going to start with 0. Have a great day everyone!

This is the worse bday ever...

The kids are fighing like crazy today. I went downstairs to run on the treadmill. started her up, running feeling good determined to do an hour and the belt on the treadmill ripped and I fell. :censored::censored::censored: is all I can say. We don't have the money to deal with this.

Oh crazy, so sorry to hear about your horrible day! Hope it's ok to wish you a Happy Birthday anyway - I sincerely hope it gets better!

3.4 miles today. The kids were home for Election Day, so DD had a sleep-over last night. 5 giggling teens = not much sleep, so tonight will be an early night.

I'll be traveling for the next few days (for work, not fun), but I made sure I booked myself into a hotel that has a gym, so I plan to get my miles in one way or the other. Hopefully, all will go as planned and I won't be too exhausted to actually do it.

Gatorgirl, nope...not totally alone! I have been editing my post on the 1st page of this thread to update my minutes. I guess I can make a new post as well each time I have more miles to add. :)

Here's today's mileage:

2.6 mile walk/jog

I am planning on doing another 2-3 miles this evening. We are getting wonderful weather here...the heat switch has finally turned off for the year!

November Total Mileage: 13.75/80 miles

I didnt even think about editing posts. I dont know how to use all the gagets on this site yet...
The heat turned off for a week here, and now its right back on. Of course this is the week I have to run outside instead of at the gym (home for the weekend). Its too hot here for that. Made the run a lot more difficult. I dont want to run after dark, so I dont think there is a way to escape the heat.

Happy Sunday... Thank goodness for TV while working out, sometimes it is the only way to take my mind off what I don't really want to be doing, and it helps time fly! I earned 3.7 miles on my trusty nordic track! total 15.3/50.

:wave: Hey everyone, I'm still here. I was traveling for business for the last several days and only had very limited access to the net. Although I wasn't able to get in any "planned" exercise or mileage, I was on my feet working the whole time (tradeshow), so I managed to drop a little weight anyway. I have a lot to do today, but plan to get on my bike tonight. I'm am seriously behind in mileage this month! Have a great day everyone!

Hey all! Happy Sunday! TOM arrived yesterday and I didn't get any intentional exercise in. Grrrrr! Oh well, this morning I was back at the gym!

Did 3.5 miles on the elliptical and then walked for .3 miles, so 3.8 total for today, bringing my November total to 17.55/80 miles.

I'm a couple days (6.5 miles) behind where I should be to reach my goal, but I'll get there! May have to do a couple days of double exercise!

Looks like everybody is doing really well w/ their mileage. That is so great!

So, today was a slow day. I didnt do too much exercise. :( I am going to wake up early tomorrow morning to get a run it. That should make me feel like I have accomplished something. Tomorrow is the last day of week3 of c25k for me. I am very excited.

Hey girls - that's IT I'm joining you! i know that I'm going to have to make up some time since I haven't done ANY exercise AT ALL this month! I pulled my quad muscle late last month, and it's now to the point where I feel like I can get going again.

I'm going to start tonight with a mile long Leslie Video and see how I feel... I will catch up SOMEHOW and get my 50 miles done by the 30th!!!

3.5 mile walk/jog this morning, bringing my total miles to 21.05/80. I'm more than 25% of the way to my goal so I'm happy about that...just gotta continue the trend.

Eny, you can still totally do 50 miles this month. I'm planning on doing 60 more miles this month myself. :)

WOW! I just want to say you are all so awesome! I am so motivated by your posts! I forced Myself to get on my ski machine tonight, because I wanted to keep up! I said just 20 minutes, and you will be able to log a mile......Well that turned into my hour! 3.9 miles for a total of 23/50 miles! THANKS
Eny, just start, and do 10 minutes, on easy/slow. Log partial miles... but just start, you can do it and it will make you feel soooo empowered. Good lucK
