Miriam....don't be to disappointed you are still down! faux.....I am not sure what to say about your new scale. That would make me crazy! I guess just keep an eye on it and maybe it will come down to join the other scale?!?!?! Melissa....where are you? You must be so busy with school...please check in! As for me I stayed the same. I haven't been eating well. So I never expected to lose but I am very very happy I haven't put on any weight. 154.4 154.4 149.4 |
I think it's pretty normal for the rules of the game to change when fall starts up. I've almost always had weight fall off in Summer, only to hit big plateaus in fall because of the weather, the busier routine and the holidays that revolve around eating.
I mean, Miriam -- you never thought you'd see the underside of 150 for the longest time. I know it sucks that it's not coming off fast, but you're almost halfway through! Speaking of seeing the underside of 150, HUGE congrats to Just Keep Swimming! And fingers crossed for kofarg! Wow -- it's cool that so many of you are right around the same pound mark. Im at 268 today. So this new scale is NoT fUN! i'm gonna need a good week just to get down to where I was on the old scale. But I need to just look at it as a challenge and not feel defeated. It's a GOOD think that I have a reliable scale.. i just need to let my mind get accustomed to the higher weight it reads and work on it!!

I know I'm a little late, but I'd like to jump in on the challenge! I just joined the site and I'm looking forward to having the motivation to make my weight loss happen!

CW 157 GW 154 I hit 158 on September 1st, and then was at (once) or above it for 20 days. But yesterday I was 158 again and 157 today! :D! I HOPE it's a trend. |

JKS: i SHOULDNT have weighed in today. Sorry to keep harping about this new scale.. but although it depressed me a bit... it really pushed me today. i had a great workout. I hope it pays off tomorrow. |

Fauxtini, sorry about the scale! I bought a body fat scale and hung at about 165 for the longest time on it. When I tested myself against my old scale, the old one said I was 171. I stuck with the bf scale but always kind of thought in my head I might be more than it says I am.
My new scale is one with the good old needle and it's in kg, so I always have to go online to convert it. At least it seems accurate. SW: 168.3 CW: 167.2 GW: 163.3 |
