Quillie - I started these challenges at #5 (in April), and it's fun to look back and see where I started! Although I have yet to win one, which may be some kind of a record.

I have to say that these challenges have been the best for helping me to see actual progress. I'm not trying to win any speed records in losing, but it is sometimes frustrating to look at my daily weight graph and see all the ups and downs.
But every time I start a new challenge, I can see where my goal weight is lower than the time before - even if just by a little. It's a nice little boost.
And 5# is so achievable, too, so that helps a lot.
Wow, I am just heading into weight territory that seems so foreign ! Not that I haven't been there, it's just been a long time. Size 12 has to be here somewhere <looking around >

Oh, I didn't start the challenges (although I wish I could take credit for that ). I just meant that my first challenge was #5, and it's fun to see how far I've come from there.
I feel the same way about them as you do, though. I think these challenges and the Biggest Loser challenges have been vital to my weight loss success thus far.
OK chickies I am in! I weigh in on Sundays will that matter? I would feel like I jinked myself if I weighed during the week or I could start my CW on Sunday the 7th? Please let me know

Wow when this 5 is gone Ill be over the 20 lbs lost mark...unbelievable!! I find these 5 lb challenges really keep me motivated. Part of the reason is that they go so fast sometimes you cant help but be motivated to try and keep up and maybe even win! KICK A** Ladies!!
