Well, I'm back up. I'm not surprised. It's been a very difficult couple of weeks, personally and professionally, and I sort of let myself go this weekend. The amount of chips and dip consumed is shameful, not to mention the yogurt shakes (2 - with whip), the beers, and the burger and fries at 5 Guys. We won't even talk about the gym (or lack thereof, since Thursday).

I slept a good part of the weekend away - I think partially depression and partially just catching up from the last several months of not getting enough sleep.

The good news (in a weird sort of way) is that letting myself go made me feel like crap. I feel hungover this morning - and I didn't even drink yesterday. I can definitely tell that my body is rebelling against too much junk and not enough good stuff - including water. Today I'm back to normal with eating and water - and I'll hit the gym tonight on my way home. I need it. I'm craving the exercise and movement.

Ok, so here we go. Back on track to hit the 150s by the end of September. I'm hoping that *some* of this is water-weight. Lord knows I consumed enough salt this weekend to account for some of it.

I'm doing much better today. I'm on track for my calories - just finished my afternoon snack of apples and sharp cheddar. Yum. I'm planning to leave the office at 5:30 and hit the gym. Whoo!

I don't dare get on the scales for the next few days - after this past weekend... I'm too afraid it will be depressing - in an INFLATED sort of way - if you know what I mean...
