goodday 09-26-2008 09:49 AM

yay, down 2lbs to 173! I have been getting up early every morning before class and doing a quick 2 mile run but I think the big thing is just watching my calories and what I eat, without being too restrictive. I keep thinking about all the things motivating me, one of which is our little family xmas vacay that I would love to look fab for. Of course weekends in college mean lots of going out and drinking but I am planning on only having one or two drinks and eating a little less and running a little more to compensate. I know its only 7lbs down but it feels a lot better already! Looking forward to more with you girls, keep it up :)

Welcome jen1019!

Excellent job goodday! :bravo:

I don't know if I'm going to make my September goal (182) but I'm getting closer! Christmas is sneaking up! I have to get back on track if I'm going to meet my Christmas goal (166) but I think it's still doable! Not too late to play catch up!

Have a great day everyone! :sunny:

Checkin in-
Ate on plan, but didn't get out of work until 10:30pm - way too late for me to get to the gym. :(
Today was a day for crisis at work. Does immense stress count as exercise?
I'll have to make up for the lack of exercise tomorrow.
Hope all are well and staying motivated.

Happy Saturday! It is raining like CRAZY here. Hard to get moving, but I did go to the gym. Eliptical for 45 minutes and circuit of weights.

mothermavis 09-27-2008 11:11 PM

I got out for a run this am, then went to the football game, now exhausted. Will be back tomorrow after church for a visit!

barbarajean2605 09-28-2008 01:02 AM

I would love to join. By Christmas I want to have lost 20 pounds. I'll go with what I weighed this morning which was 214. So my goal weight will be 194.

rmc9142 09-28-2008 09:16 AM

Welcome barbarajean2605 & jen1019! I hope you find as much inspiration and motivation as I have on these boards!

Great job to all the losers and to those who are giving it their best. It's been raining hard all weekend here too. Unfortunately, that plus a lot of work = no exercise for me for the last two days. Doing great on eating though, so it's not a total disaster. Today, I'm going for a long walk if it clears up. If not, I WILL get on that bike!

Have a great day everyone! Rita

Good Morning Everyone!!

:welcome3: To all the new ones. We are a supportive group here. Glad to get to know you!

Eny~How are you today? Are you nervous~excited? Let us know how the party goes. I am soooooo happy for you.

MM~Thank you for starting this group. I was away a lot last week, missed a lot of what happened here. Due to situation that was totally out of my control I no longer have a babysitting job. I can be here more often again. How are you doing red team member?

EarthShaker~ Please post if you can I am missing you! I hope you are lurking, I hope you are doing great....Still I miss you.

I did a sneak peek weigh in this morning. The scale has moved, just a little bit, but it has moved!!!! I will report my official weigh in tomorrow morning. I have 5 days in a row walking for at least 30 minutes outside. I plan to go to the school and walk some more this evening. Beautiful time of the year to be outside. I need to call my lawyer in the morning to see when the new court date might be. I will actually be happy when this stressful part of my life is over and done with. Catch ya all later. Pat

LadyinFlux 09-28-2008 02:28 PM

Hello all -
Staying on the wagon here! Eating on plan and 30 minutes on the rower this AM plus the Crunch- Cardio Salsa 40 minute DVD. (Had a lot of trouble with the Samba today, though :) )
Hope all are well! Enjoy your Sunday!

Dixiemae 09-28-2008 02:30 PM

Hi~I am feeling some what better about several things. First of all I now have a big white stability ball I can use. The deflated one is in the trash. I have a nice dress that fits. It is a size 16. I have shrunk from a size 16w to a regular size 16!!!!!!!! I can look decent in the court room. YEAH!! Catch ya all later. Pat

mothermavis 09-28-2008 04:20 PM

Pat, knock em out! Congrats on both NSV.

LIF, you are doing great, good for you!

I am doing ok, could be cleaner, but ya know, for the most part, doing fine. My eating has been op for the most part, just sampled some frosting, but perfect I am not. Trying for 85% perfect and then the other 15 is fine. Life is good - all is well in my little corner. Not going to hit less than 140 before the end of this month, but will hit it by Halloween, then less then 130 by the end of November and plan on being right around 125 for Christmas Eve.

Who is with me?

Blue Serenity 09-28-2008 08:55 PM

Welcome Barbarajean and sh3l5! :welcome2:

Hey Dixiemae, congrats on the dress! :woohoo:

I'm with ya mothermavis! Today wasn't the best so I'm ready for tomorrow!

rmc and Lady, looks like your exercise is going well ... keep up the good work! I've missed 2 days on my treadmill. Needing to get up and get to it!

Have a great one! :sunny:

jen1019 09-29-2008 02:01 AM

Well, I'm down two pounds so far. Twenty-eight to go before Christmas! My weekend wasn't TOO bad. I didn't work out Saturday because I was too sore, and my eating was pretty much on point- I was under 1400 calories, though I did have one Mike's Hard Lemonade. And Sunday morning I worked out, though I did have one of those tiny deep dish pizzas and a small piece of cool whip cake. But I was under 1600 calories, and I'm allowing Sunday to be my "cheat" day. Though only slightly. Everything else was well within, and not too upset with the way my first week will be rounded out. Maybe I will have lost a little weight *crosses fingers* off to bed, ladies!

joyra 09-29-2008 03:02 AM

I just want to check in here because I haven't in awhile:

SW: 168.3
CW: 166.1
GW: 150

I really really really wish I could get BELOW my starting weight for 3FC (165)... I've been within half a lb and I keep bouncing back up.

Also, I think I'm going to be going some place tropical in January -- The Philippines or Thailand -- and I'd looove to be 135 lbs. Actually lowest I've ever weighed while visiting some place tropical was 150 and that was in Puerto Rico a year and a half ago. So it would be nice to be anything below that.

The exercise is getting better... the eating, not so much.
