rmc - good job not giving into the slacker bug! (he's my biggest monster!) take it easy n your leg not to hurt it more... maybe while you're healing you can focus more on upper body (pushups are great for that!- just DON'T STOP MOVING!!!!

Eny~76 pushups. I am sssssoooooooOOOOOOOOOO IMPRESSED!!!!!!!! Makes my 42 look enimic. Okay, I am ready to rev it up!! There is no excuses, no slacking, no whinning. I am going to get my quiz cat and not look back. The Family challenge starts next week, I am so ready. Did you sign up for that one? nope I didn't sign up for that one... I think I'm going to stick to the ones that I'm in. The TBL one has a lot of mini challenges w/in it - so I don't want to over do it.

Halloween, Christmas, TBL that's good for me! :)

Hi Everyone~I just looked at the calendar!! I just got a jolting eye opener!! It is 4 weeks til our court date 10-2. I have nothing to wear!! My size 1x are too big. Glad, so glad for that. I have several decent size 16 dresses and denim jumpers at my ex's house. Do you all think I should chance the idea they might fit? Ask my ex for them back? I don't want to look like a dork and embarrass myself in court. For the next 4 weeks I have to be extra, extra aware of what I eat and exercise my fanny off. Christmas challenge Halloween challenge Here I come!!!!! Eny~Kick my butt every day!!!!! I tried to get my candy corn kitten, couldn't. I must have done something wrong! I have an errand to run, I need to call my lawyer (thanks MM). Baseball Game comes on at 12pm-time for my stepping workout. Gotta run!! Catch ya all later. Pat

Halloween Quizes ... what's that? I see it in Enygirl's siggy and Dixiemae's post. :dunno: I checked out the Halloween challenge but decided that my plate was already full enough (excuse the pun, lol). I'm doing the Biggest Loser challenge, so that should keep me busy. (Almost time to weigh in for that one ... got to shed 2 more pounds to get back to my 187. Eny, after my weekend binge-fest I jumped back up to 192 too. :fr: But it's part of that "cushion" (food bloat) I consider quick weight to lose. (It comes on quick and comes off quick too.) So I wasn't too worried about it - but it sure is a shocker when you look at the scale and it says you've gained 5 pounds in only 2 days! AHHHHHHHH!!!!! (Gee, I wonder if it had anything to do with the fact that I downed a box of Cheez-its over 2 days?) :o How embarassing! lol I won't tell y'all what else I ate!!!

Anyhow, glad everyone seems to be getting back on track. :cheer2:

I got back on track yesterday and even managed to get back on the treadmill. I am leaning more and more to the calorie counting part of my plan than the YOAD part. I love that YOAD keeps me loaded up on good-for-you food, but sometimes I just WANT to eat white pasta or a cookie or whatever, so I manage to fit them within the counting. Seems to be working, but I really gotta watch those "trigger" foods. I think I'll keep up the YOAD, but with lots of flexibility to allow for things not considered kosher to that plan. This seems to be working well for me.

Hi Everyone~I did 45 wall push ups with out resting. I walked and walked around the living room. I am pondering a situation, that is what I do when in deep thought. I tried to do stepping but my hip rejected that idea, so I continued to walk, not pace. I am back on the exercise wagon again. I am going to have to work up slowly because my hip just won't take it. I need a sho of cortizone, but can't afford it right now.

MM~It would be so great if we do get on the same team. We should be finding out soon. Don't forget to report your weigh in next week. Catch ya all later. Pat

Hey pat - when you said family challenge - did you mean the new TBL challenge? If so I'm totally in on that one! It's going to be my main challenge (along with this one) and then I have my holiday one too!!! Dometimes I'm quite ditzy! :crazy:

Oh, nevermind about my Halloween Quizes question. :dizzy: I just saw it on the challenge thread. There weren't that many posts when I first checked out the thread (or I hadn't read that far). Cute idea. I like the kitten.

No problem blue. I take my Holiday threads to the extreme sometimes ;) So we have quizzes and weekly weigh in stickers and such... Since they are shorter threads then this one it's a little easier to manage - Plus it's fun for me!
