    Donna - Heck yeah ....painting is good exercise...I'm always sore for a couple days after I paint! Up and down the ladders, Down on the knees to get the bottoms.

  • Hey gang! I'm not doing so well but I am hanging in there! A few days ago when I weighed myself I was 254.4 but yesterday I was 257.2! I think it's mostly water weight. I'm having some personal issues and I went on a binge, Im thinking I probably ate too much salt, and didn't drink enough water! Here's to making the 21st binge free day 1 and getting back on track.

    My next official weigh in day is Wednesday and I think I will wait until then to weigh next! Forget Tuesday, hah. I work nights so my days are off a little from most people's.

    It really was a pretty good weekend, so I'm not sure about that number. I ate a bit off plan, but just a tiny bit.

    I know some of it is sodium but come on. I am going to drink a boat load of water today and hopefully tomorrow will be better!
  • Whoopsie! I'm up 2 lbs!! I didn't do too badly yesterday (certainly not 2 lbs worth!) Maybe too much salt? I don't know, but I was in a bit of shock as I stared at my scale.

    I went to the Farmers Market on Saturday, so I've got lots of fruit and veggies and I'll just get back on track.

  • Weekends can be so bad on trying to lose weight hang in there guys I am sure it is a bunch of water weight. It should come back off in no time. Just keep working!

  • Paula - Check out yard sales, garage sales, flea markets...etc. Usually many people buy up lots of exercise equipment around the new year....when they get to wanting money around summer time, or just want to clear our junk many people have yard sales around this time of year.....and those well sought intentions usually end up coat hangers and in the yard sales cause they aren't used....I found a recumbant bike once for $5.00...it was slightly used but they wanted to get rid of it! They had $20.00 marked on it and I asked them to go to $5....they said they would go till $10. I went back the next day towards the end of their sale...and it was still there...I asked again if they would take $5....they said again $10. When they saw I was going to leave they finally said okay they would take $5...so I got a steal

  • Some sort of miracle has occured. I didn't weigh myself for a couple of days, since I saw my slight 15 + pound gain. I weighed myself for the first time in a few weeks on the first day of this challenege.. which also happened to be the first day of TOM .. that probabaly accounts for the drastic decline ( i'm not complaining! hehe

    I love when you start backin on weightloss after binging for a few weeks.. the weight just pours off. hehe... still have over ten pounds to get back to my lowest.. but i'm happy these first few pounds are coming off easy.. it's good for my psychee.

  • kittycat - I envy you...I want my 5 lb goal to be 126.....

    I'm having motivation issues today....I have alot going on! On top of cleaning the house, cooking, taking care of 11 month old baby, exercise, and school...I have a test on Saturday that is huge and I have to pass. It cost me $140. It is the Principles of Learning and teaching test. I have to take it and pass it (get a 156 or better) to be able to apply for my teaching license.

    I'm soooooo sleepy and dragging but today! I just want to go to bed. I need to get up and get my exercise in....but I just feel so overwelmed.

    Plus my left knee is hurting on the side a little....I don't know what's up with it??
