  • I did about a half hour of the aerobics yesterday.
  • 55 minutes yesterday and 45 minutes today. My left knee is complaining about the lunges, so I think I'll avoid them for a bit. When I do free step, I try to do something with my arms - changing it every 100 steps. I've done the twenty minute freestep several times - by the time I'm done with it all, the 3-minute "meditation" feels good - just to be still.
  • My wii fit came in the mail today, but I wasn't there to sign for it. So I have to wait til I can go to the post office tomorrow.
  • I did a WATP 14 min mile then went into Fit. I did the long distance run and got to unlock the around the island run. That's a long 11 minute run.

Has anyone noticed how the board groans when you step on it?

How are you doing with your soccer balls? I think I've been hit with more shoes and Panda bears!

I managed to wipe out again in the ski jump. It is not a pretty site.
  • Since I have the day off today, I decided to start out with a WATP mile and about 35 minutes on Wii. I unlocked the around the island run last night. Today I unlocked the free run. That is a long 10 minutes. I also unlocked some yoga poses. I haven't gotten into the yoga part yet.

There's a couple of balance ones that annoy me. I don't like the tightrope. I keep bursting my bubble on that river one.

Has anyone noticed how that thing groans when you step on the board?
  • I finally got mine opened tonight! I've spent about 30 minutes on it with the games, I'm taking a break because my feet and ankles are getting sore. I think I'll try some Aerobics and Yoga when I get back on it. I didn't set a goal loss because there were people around. How can I go back and set it?

I haven't noticed that groaning yet, but I'll try and pay more attention tonight.

LOL, we just got our Wii tonight, my husband noticed the groan.

Does it tell everyone that their Wii fit age is 10yrs older than your actual age?
  • I worked out a little with my new wii fit this morning. I did 2 hulu hoop sessions, 1 super huluhoop session(408circles) 2 joging sessions and 1 attempt at step...lol

I worked out with my trainer yesterday and my back is pretty sore so not working on the strength stuff
  • I have done a total of 1hour and 30min on the wii fit today

I did the island lap a few minutes ago, I did see what got put in my piggy bank. Anyone know how many minutes it is?
  • I did good this weekend...140 minutes on Saturday and 120 minutes yesterday...

I'm trying to decide on a February goal...I will be significantly busier next month.
  • Battery issue?
I have been doing the super hulahoop lately, but there seems to be a problem - don't know if it's me or the step pad thingy. I would start out fine, managing the first round (I think it's to the right?) for the three minutes. But then I would start on the next round, to the left, and for some reason it doesn't seem to want to sense my movement - I 'm moving my butt for all it's worth, but my "character" on the screen is barely moving, and then just stops entirely.

Just to test it, I did the regular hula while moving in the same direction, and it will only detect me if I lean back on my heels while moving my nether regions. Maybe it is me. But I'll try changing the batteries if the problem continues.

Which leads me to my next query - how often does the pad need a battery change? We've already changed out the batteries in the remotes (my kids use them alot) - but I am the primary user of the pad. I picked up a battery recharger, since we seem to buy tons of AA and AAA batteries around here.
  • Haven't run into the battery issue yet. However, we did discover that the remote goes haywire when that sensor sitting either in front of or on the tv is exposed to direct sunlight.

I think you can go to the body check section and have it weigh you.

I do the body check every morning and go back in to do the exercises in the afternoon or early evening. I like doing the body check in the AM because I haven't eaten yet and it won't nag me about weight.

I'm really trying to do that bubble thing. I got up to 900 yds. I'm sore! I still don't like that tightrope. I keep murdering my mii.

Have any of you tried to outrun the guy leading you on the runs? Have you noticed you get dirty looks from the other miis?

The only way I can really figure out the times is at the end. I go back to the plaza and click on the envelope on the lower right.

Also, you can enter any other activities in that graph thing. So, any WATP walks I do I add in as well. I don't know why I'm doing that but it was suggested to do that.
  • I've been bad about playing the past few days, but class is canceled today so I'll be able to catch up on things and make plenty of time for wii fit.

Judi, it should tell you if the batteries need to be changed. I have found issues using the rechargable batteries for a guitar hero controlor. After changing it to normal batteries there weren't any more issues. So you might try that.
  • Im sick today and I have lots of cleaning to do so I dont know if I will get a work out in or not
  • Feel better, Mandy.

I unlocked the rhythm boxing and some more strength exercises yesterday. I haven't really played much in the yoga and strength areas. My knees don't like the lunges and squats.

Since I leave work early today, I'll get in something while I wait for the Dish TV repair person.
