Darby - I hate the SBD!!! Its not for me! I'm going back to my old diet and I'm gonna stop expecting to lose 3 lbs a week! I'm going to start setting realistic goals and if I do better great!!!!! I'm going to quit obsessing over a year from now...I'm just going to set monthly goals and just shoot for that goal week by week of that month!!
As for the coupons....YES!!! If you can find things that you are already getting they are great...especially if you have grocery stores that double coupons...LOL!!! My hubby likes the totinos pizza rolls....I get coupons for them and they are 40 cents off....so if you double them its 80 cents off per box....thats great...but what is even greater...watch sales papers and check weekly ads online...etc....for example....the totinos pizza rolls go on sale for $1.00 sometimes.....if I have coupons and get them doubled at the 80 cents off I get each box of totinos for 20 cents!!! I have even gotten things free before!! But even more than coupons the sales papers help me! The coupons usually there is a size limitation or you have to buy so many to get the discount....but keep sales papers in mind...Kroger, Wal-mart, Fred's, E.W. James, IGA...etc! Then check to see when they double coupons....my Fred's doubles coupons on Saturdays.....E.W James, IGA, and Kroger double everyday! I get my toothpaste for 25 cents...LOL!!! Its great really!!! |

Eny, good to see you back. I'm very excited for August and our new beginning. Momma, sorry you don't like SB. You need to do what works for you and have to be able to stick with it long term. Okay...here are my final numbers for July!!!
Start / Current / Goal Weight - 255 / 240 / 241 (ONE pound under goal!! :D ) Bust - 48 / 45 /45 (Goal met!) Waist - 49 / 46 / 46 (Goal met!) Hips - 55 / 52 / 52 (Goal met!) Legs -28 / 27 / 26 (Goal missed) Total weight lost - 15 lbs Total inches lost - 10 inches I did very well in my food / exercise blog this month! Money management was my area to work on...I could have done better so I'm going to carry this over to August! Congrats to everyone for making it through July! Now....lets hit August!!! |
Okay, my last July post! I lost 5lbs missed my goal by 3. I'm hoping that I will have a whoosh soon though. I haven't had one in quite a while. My body has some sorting out to do. I had 2 periods last month. I felt like I was PMSing the entire month and my hormones were out of whack. I think it was because of the running. Maybe? Anywhooo, moving on... to August
