My eating has been crappy crappy crappy lately. I haven't been to the gym in over a week but I do walk home everyday from work so my exercise is alright. I'm giving myself till Friday, then a new chapter begins: I move into my apartment! So the only temptations will be brought in on my own accord, everything will be my choice, my responsibility. Ready to get back on track! :carrot:

Excersize is going okay for me. I did 4.5 miles saturday. Was going to go yesterday but hey...it was mother's day and i was tired. Going tonight though. Got another 5 miles to get in. Food is a bit off but going to work on my work days then i can work on my weekends. Need to have people stop having dang birthdayS!!! I am tired of eating cake!!! lol. I don't have another party until saturday. So...i should be able to excersize 4 or 5 times this week before then and eat healthy until saturday. I am throwing my friend a chinese food themed party and i am cooking all the foods. Yay me!! lol.

I can wear my size twelves but theyre pretty tight and uncomfortable with my tummy hanging over, so I'm hoping by June to be able to wear those a slight more comfortably. I've also ordered a few dresses and I havent worn a dress since being a kid so I'm really excited by that :D

Right now I'm in between my 14s and 16s... so i am making progress. I have 1 pair of Capris that are 12s that I WILL be into come June 21! They will go on, and I can button them.. but "Muffin Top" is not a nick name that I like ;)

Exercise was ok last week - did 3 days. i'm going to increase that this week. TOM is looming (due this week) so that's a lot of my emotional rollar coaster! Thank you all for the kind words.

Work is still nuts - but I was informed this morning that I'm "indespensible" not irreplacable - but really no one ever is that in a working environment. but at least I know with all the changes - my job is secure. :D i'm also up for a raise/'promotion I was told come the end of June.. so that was happy news. I just have to work my tail off to get everything done!

Ok girls - back to it! Have a great Monday!

Hi all!

Just a quick check-in before bed. I've been doing great staying OP and have actually managed to lose another 1.5 lbs! I tried on a pair of my size 6 pants over the weekend and I didn't look as bad as I thought I would. Heck...at least they went over my butt and thighs. I even buttoned them without a problem. :) Very motivating I must say! Before I know it...I'll be out of my 8's for good! Good Luck to everyone this week. Summer is right around the corner so don't lose focus! :coach:

OMG has any of yall seen the movie The Mist? I'm SO pissed! :mad: The ending.....my god, I got so mad! Just spreading the word of outrage! I have a few choice words for the producer/director. :club: I know Stephen King wrote the novella the movie is based on but I'm leaving him of out this simply because...well he does write kickass books! :p

Food intake going good, food choices going very well but excerise is suffering due to asthma. DBF is trying to be supportive but today he became upset and left because I refused to go walking.
I am losing focus and motivation.
I have another doctor appointment next week maybe they will change my med level again I can get back to walking and running up and down those stairs.

Glad to hear about everyone new sizes as well as other successes.

I'm eating a bit too much, though for once I'm not grazing mindlessly all day. Keeping away from those scales because I'd rather be pleasantly surprised at some point that controlled by the damned things! Tonight I'm going shopping, I'm going to pick out a dress and I'm going to buy it as my inspiration :D

Morning all!!! Hope everyone is doing well. I am doing alright. I think last night i got just under 1200 calories (which is awesome for a change). Today is looking like if i can stick to my plan, will also be under 1200. Don't worry girls. I'm not trying to stay below 1200 for too long. just trying to reign in this over eating i've been doing. This morning, with TOM, the scales found me at 140!!!!! That is NOT good!! So...i am excersizing every day this week, and trying to stay just at or under 1200 calories. Got to make them pretty good calories too. Got to get in my water. Really hoping that this jump in weight is A) due to TOM
B) due to all the new running i've been doing (already at 28 miles for May)

I am really hoping by Memorial Day I will be looking pretty good in my swimsuit. Me and a group of girls are planning to go to the lake and I want to look good. This will be my first outing in a bathing suit. But i refuse to take my measurements until at least one full month of jogging. Plus...I feel so depressed when i get on the scale and see how far from 134 it likes to get. But...i just like to think that while, i'm losing fat, i'm gaining muscles.

Wow!! Talk about scared!! So...we all know i've put a couple pounds back on. Been telling myself not a big deal because i am still fitting in my regular clothes. Last night afte doing my 4 miles jogging at the gym, guzzling down a bottle of water and having dinner...i took my measurements. I was up 2 inches all over!!!! I was so upset. But, i took my shower and went to bed and tried not to dwell on it too much. After thinking about it, and peeing about 4 times over the course of the night and early morning, i measured again...and i was back to normal. Who knew that excersize and drinking water (and TOM) could bloat you so much. But...i feel better and more determined to be doing more healthy eating.

So...I did do 4 miles at the gym last night and Tuesday night and am planning on going tonight and Friday night. Wish i had time to go on saturday but i really don't think i will. Saturday morning my middle child has an award ceremony for Good Citizenship and then i have to get home to start cooking for a birthday party i'm throwing. Then...it's off to the birthday party. But...I am planning to go to the gym on Sunday to help rid my body of all the delicious food i am cooking and eating!! Also...going to drink lots of water at this party to help fill me up and flush out all the sodium (chinese food with lots of soy sauce).

Hope everyone else is doing great on your slimming goal!!! 3 more weeks and hopefully i'll see some sort of "good" results!!!

I want to drop down a size by summer....I am currently a size 10. I would love for all my clothes to become so big that I would have to get rid of them...and then go get myself a new wardrobe!!!!!!!!! In a size 8. My ultimate goal would be to be a size 4-6. I'll have to see...

WhoIwannabe....you can do it!!! I was a size 16 (but should have been in 18's) when i first started out on my weightloss journey. Now, i am fitting into 4's and 6's. I want to get down to 2's and 4's. If i can do it, i know you can do it. Just stay focused and dedicated and educated.

I skipped my workout last night. Knees were bothing me and i was tired and my bf was depressed. But i will be at the gym tonight doing my 4 to 5 miles jogging tonight. I can't wait!!! I am looking forward to the next time i measure and hopefully seeing an inch gone from my waist. That will be soooo awesome!!

Who - :welcome: Your goal sounds completely doable - just stick with it!

I'm here girls - mostly looming. I have been so busy with work that I'm trying desperately to just get enough sleep! (which isn't working so well!) I'm fitting into most of my 14s now.. although they're a little tight still. If I give 100% this week then I'm sure they'll fit better. Plus TOM is here... lovely. *sigh*

I didn't work out at all last week.. which is sad yes - I'm going to do it this week though! at least 30 mins 3 times this week! I know it's not the level I need to be at - but something is better then nothing! I'm still doing pretty good eating wise, although yesterday was a complete pig-out night... oh well. I'm done beating myself up... I'm moving forward - making better choices. I know I need to increase my water intake. I was doing SO good on it - and now not so much.

Okay....this friday will make 31 days that i started jogging. I am still waiting to see some inches leave my body from somewhere!!! Anywhere!!! Maybe i'm not jogging as consistantely as i need to. I'm tracking the days i excersize on my fitday so i can see just how many times i am working out and then maybe i can see if i need to add more days in there. I am almost to my 50 miles for may. I should have that completed by the end of the week. Then i'll be adding on extras till the end of the month. I also have not seen the scale drop. It keeps bounceing between 138 and 140. Not good!!!

Oh well...how is everyone else doing???

Lumi - stick with it ... you will see a difference. Maybe revving it up a little will give you more results.

Yesterday I did my first day of wogging (jog/walk) I did 5 mins of walking, then intervals of 60 sec jog/90 sec walk for 10 mins and then 5 mins of cool down walking. Let me tell you - it KICKED MY BUTT! My plan is to do that every other day, and do a video on the other days. I'm hoping to do some cardio - but I'm feeling like crap today - so it may be a nice yoga day. Although a nice long nap is sounding pretty dang good too! I'm SO tired!

I measured my waist today - and I lost .25" from last week... that made me feel good. And I did my weigh in for my older sister and I's pounds challenge that we're starting today. I'm back up to #196 :( I know some of it's TOM - but most of it's me slacking off entirely the last month 1/2! Ugh!

I have to get back to it! right now I just feel like sleeping! ugh... :(

I'm a 14/16 now (wearing 14s today :woohoo:) and my ultimate goal is a size 8. I've never been an 8 - so it's hard to imagine.... but I'm working towards it... some weeks are better then others.

:wave: everyone. So sorry I've been AWOL, the last couple of days have been filled with moving, getting used to a new bus route, and worrying about bills. Needless to say, my eating has been horrendous and exercise is non-existant. :o I've been a bad girl and just when I tell myself that I will start fresh in the morning, TOM rears his ugly head! :mad: Azz. But, though my eating was still off, I got a little walking in today and drank all my water! Plus I resisted going to the store for ice cream and soda but I contribute that to my fear of the hallway outside my new apartment door.....it's creepy especially at night. :^:

Still working on slimming up. Did my 3 miles last night. For may, i have 43 miles so far. Hoping to hit 60 by the last day of the month. Hoping sometime next month i will start to see some shrinkage.

I haven't felt good the last few days - part of it's TOM, partly not enough sleep - and TOO MUCH WORK! It's driving me NUTS! I'm taking the ENTIRE weekend off - and Monday is going to be a complete Mommy & Hunter day! She needs it as much as I do! I'm going to take her somewhere fun - not sure where yet though.

Ok girls - I have to get back to work - the more i do now the less I have to do at home!

size now is a 14/16, want to be a size 6 or 8.. probably an 8 though as it's healthier! ultimate goal is to be size 10 for my holiday at the beginning of august, it's going to be hard work but lost 3lb since monday already!! :D

Feel like I should drop out of this challenge because I am going in the wrong direction.

I'm HERE!!! Thinkgs are going good - exercise is going great - food is OK. I'm still having a hard time kicking the soda habit. :( I don't think I'll hit 12's by the 21st - but I'm working towards it. I'm going to the doctor's on the 23rd to see what else I can do to help with the weight issue - counceling maybe? I know that my problem is more then just not being able tostop putting stuff in my mouth.

How is everyone else doing???

Eny I too am thinking of counseling. I feel it can't hurt at this point. Food intake is out of control. Well, not so much food but sweets, yep, I have gone haywire with those peanutbutter cookies. Baked some ate them then went out and bought some. Bad, bad,bad girl. I got to pull it together. Must refocus. Totally off. I do have a lot of emotional things going on in my life right now which maybe a factor.
Good News: The medication adjustment has been working well. I wonder if that is why my desire for sweets is so high. I am like a cookie moster.

Ok girls - we officially have 10 days left of our challenge, and while I know that I'm not going to get into a solid size 12 - I have definately made progress. I'll be starting a Labor Day challenge after this one - because WE'RE WORTH THE WORK...it's a good thing I went into marketing :)

I *unofficially* weighed in this morning and I'm down #1.2 from last Monday. :yay: I also got my mom and my BFF to join into my challenge :woohoo: We decided on a $50 pre-paid gift card for the winner. So the most it's going to cost me is a TON of fat and $50. If I win though then the $200 will be nice to start shopping for a new wardrobe! :D

My goal for Christmas is to get to "Over-weight" which is #32.2 away. I definately need to get going! :santa: Christmas is 28 weeks away! which means I have to lose a little over #1 a week (not hard as long as I don't back slide!)

just saying i am still here and that i made it to a full 12 the main goal for this challange. i found a pair of shorts that are a 12 that i have not worn since before my son was born 4 years ago and i kept them know that some day i would fit back into them and i am proud to say that day is here. now on to the secondary goal of this challange. will i be pushing the 10 i want to??

Oh my....10 days left till the first day of summer?? Oh my...i don't think i made my goal at all!! So sad. I wanted to lose to a size 2 (misses) and didn't even come close. I haven't lost a single inch. I barely lost 2 pounds so far. I have really gotta get back on track, don't i?? Thank goodness we will have a Labor Day challenge coming up, huh?? lol. Someone said it is only 28 weeks till christmas. I wanted to be down 20 pounds by then. That sounds so impossible when i can't lose more than 2 pounds a month. I have gotta start working my overtime on the weekends so i can hit the gym after work. I gotta get back to excersizing.

Enygirl....one good thing i can add today. I told my boss i will not be working over during the week anymore. She didn't like that i had worked late without checking with her first, although we agreed on my working on sautrday...but i didn't, so i stayed late instead. So...if i can't drag my butt to work on saturday, then i guess that damn filing will have to wait until....whenever.

But...that means....Gym...here i come!!! (next week that is). hehehe
