I just wanted to add to my post that I did end up doing some exercise today. :lol:

lovemacon- Don't laugh my fitness videos are old. I've been researching ones on videofitness.com and have a wish list for some newer ones, but haven't got around to ordering any yet. Anyway, the ones I use still seem well loved on the message boards over there.
Lower Body- I do 1 hour of lower body 3 days a week. The videos I use are all standing leg work without weights. Lots of varieties of squats, plies, and lunges. I also do ball work for the stomach. I combine Cher- A New Attitude (leg and stomach only) with Kathy Smith's Timesaver Shaper Ball Workout. (works legs and stomach) and alternate this with Kathy Smith's Functionally Fit Lower Body Firming combined with Keli Roberts Ultimate Step (Stomach only). Upper Body-I use free weights for upper body and do them without videos. I jump on my rebounder for about 10 minutes then do a set of 12 reps for a certain muscle group then hop back on the rebounder for 5 mins, then back to another set. I do two different exercises for each muscle group and 4 sets of each exercise hopping on and off the rebounder to keep my heart rate high the whole time. I have videos for upper body and have used them to learn the different exercises but this workout is much more fun for me and makes everything pass by quickly. :trampo: I also do an hour of step aerobics 3 days a week. Tip: One thing that keeps me going with these videos is using my own music. I know what's coming up by heart now so I just turn the T.V. down and my music up, Somehow the beat works out fine. When I start to get tired of my videos downloading new music always gets me excited to do them again. |
Michelle, I just pop a couple of Dayquil in the morning and I am fine the rest of the day (Nasty sinus drainage is causing my woes). The gym got 5 new ones (which I absolutely love!) so there are 5 for bid. The one I am bidding on has a minor problem, the timer and calorie counter are not working. The guy in charge of maintainence says the part is cheap (I am assuming cheap to be $50-100) I'm not willing to go above $200 because of that. The bid is up to $190 and 2 days left so I doubt I will get it, so I may get myself something new. :)
Makie had another day of gymnastics, she is SO CUTE!! the did the uneven bars (well the bottow one, moving from one side to the other, she was able to go 2/3 the way down the bar with no help!!! AH MY FUTURE OLYMPIAN!! :) I'm so out of it this morning. YAWN! I went to be late, Tommy woke me up early. So WEED UMMM W 64 oz E try to get something in E 1200 cals D make it through one more day, then Ill start my vacation week: 6 days off, 1 day on! |
Lost another pound wahoo! So today is finally a day where I don't have to run from one place to the next, so I can relax a little bit!
W - min 64 oz (at 16 now) E - after 2 hrs yesterday I think a short walk on the treadmill and some weights is all I will do - after breakfast digests a little more E - on plan so far, planning on staying home today so it should be a good day! D - I have to get my office under control - I am drowning in paperwork! |

okokok . . . I'm over it . . . no reason to backslide for days on end . . . . no reason to stay in a foul ugly mood . . . Just popping in to say congrats to Musictchr....and that i am finally having a good day with my water. I already have in 6 glasses and only need 2 more to reach 64 ounces. I have really been struggling this week with water for some reason...and not excerisizing is NOT helping. But tomorrow is a new day and I am going to work on improving my foods and my water intake and maybe saturday after my overtime is finally "over"....I can get some excersize in!! I hope so. I really want to see a pound gone...i have been maintaining 145 for 2 weeks now...it's time to move down!!!

It's not usually like that, but the instructor made the poses extra challenging. Me, though? I found the poses effortless!! What an amazing experience that is. I did not break a sweat or feel any discomfort. Eating-wise, I have hardly been getting any water or fruits and vegetables in me for at least 2 days. :cbg: So unlike me! TOM is supposed to be visiting anytime now, so I am assuming that is part of the reason. Don't ask me why I say that except I seem to have a pattern of wanting heavier foods around TOM's arrival. Not eating a lot of high-water content foods definitely gives me that heavy food feeling. I have been feeling unperturbed about my eating off plan. At least I am not dealing with beating myself up! :flow2: W - 64 oz. E - Day 3/Week 7 of c25k :running: E - More high-water content foods!!!! :eating2: D - D stands for Domestic Duties! Hi all just a quickie today!!
W 80 oz E 30 min (done) E 1300 cals D housework (groan, first day of my long weekend off!) I didnt want to go for my workout today but I forced myself. The only way I will get to my goal is IF I DO THE WORK! I am going to put a picture of Mickey Mouse in my car and by my computer so that I will be reminded of my goal. Happy Healthy day everyone! |
Did better on water yesterday. Got about 7 glasses in!! Yay. This morning...I was down to 144!!! I knew it had to be because i wasnt' drinking my water so i was retaining fluids.
Todays WEED: W- 7 glasses again E- hopefully walk for 30 minutes at lunch E- 1200 calories D- Keep moving forward, dont' look back!!! (Here I come 143!!!) |

I will redo a special hello to clykk !! :sunny: Nice to see you back! :getwell: To all of you sikkos out there! Thanks to everyone for the congrats on making it through my first plateau. I realize it won't be the last, but now I know I have the stamina to get through them all!! I'm actually down another pound today, so I'm slowly chipping away at that Halloween goal. Two really cool things happened yesterday: 1 - I looked down and didn't see my belly sticking out farther than my boobs! 2 - A friend at school told me that I'm starting to get a shape! I think I'm actually getting a waistline!! I'm off to camp for the weekend, and going to see Kathy Griffin tonight. I'm tooooo excited!!!!! I'll probably get a good ab workout from laughing! My nephew's birthday is today, so included in the weekend is also dinner out and birthday cake. Lord, help me be strong!! Have a great weekend everyone! Weekend WEED: W - nothing but water all weekend! E - morning walks at camp E - as close to plan as I can, but I'm not going to beat myself up D - Riding high on compliments from friends and coworkers - don't really need a pep talk. Don't let the walking slide! |
