AHHH! I haven't been here in a couple days. sorry about that. I've been so busy. I'm still holding steady at 139, which is a miracle cuz I felt like I had the appetite of a horse during my period...LOL.

Hello to all you weeders. I've been MIA for quite some time. but thought i should get back on board, and I just knew that there would be a WEED challenge going on. So my goal is to be at 163 by Halloween. I am recommitting to both my exercise program and to eating better ( this is mostly self talk here, but if i put it out there, I will stick to it).

So here's my WEED for tomorrow.

W-36oz.
E-WATP 4 mile w/boosters
E-INcrease veggie intake.
D-Do some laundry and get some calls made.

i am looking forward to getting to know the "newbies" and reacquainting myself with the "oldies".

Hi guys insomnia strikes so here I am, posting at 3:30 in the morning. Hey I weighed 227 when I woke up here at 3! So I changed my ticker. So there :hyper:

Clykky, you're sounding alot more upbeat today. Glad to hear you're back on track. I'm getting there, but I've been having a few sweatpants and t-shirt days. Glitter, so you had an off weekend. I hope you had a KILLER time in Chicago. Where did you go and what did you do? Are you still running? Are you worried that now that the weather is cooling off you'll run less? Or will you run indoors or on a treadmill? I hate to think that maybe I won't c25k until spring. I had this fantastic dream a few nights ago that I was RUNNING. It felt like I was flying. Then suddenly I was naked and someone was trying to steal my wallet. Dreams are funny like that.

Azure, I watched the Biggest Loser too! Actually I only just saw it yesterday, THANK GOODNESS for Dvr! My hubby couldn't understand why I watch that show and cry the whole time. It's just so emotional. I only caught bits and pieces of TBL the past few seasons, or caught them on rerun marathons. I should buy the seasons and just watch them when I need remotivated. I miss Caroline Rhea though! Did they say why she left the show? Do we like Allison Sweeney in her place? I think she's so darn cute. I don't watch her soap, but she seems nice, and I do remember thinking she was a bit chubbier before. But still soap star material, so how bad could she look? I'm sorry but that girl Amber was killing me, I felt bad for her running in the desert, but she seemed like a quitter to me. But WOW was I surprised to see her "after the show". I'd LOVE to have Bob train me! :love:

Hi Sotypical, hi Keiko! I know you can do this! You do really well drinking all that water!! When I take my gallon of water to work, people can't believe I drink all that, and you do that and a half more! AWESOME! People ask me all the time if I go to the bathroom alot, and I just think I'm used to it, or at least it doesn't interfere with what I'm doing. And I won't burn you on not exercising! You gotta do your own thing! Just for me, I have a harder time eating well if I'm not exercising. I just sneak too many extras. But going to the gym makes me say to myself, why undo all that hard work? I'm happy for anyone who can make it. Regardless of anything else. If it works for you then I'm all for it.

Hey Shari! I hope you get the job you're looking for! It sounds like fun, I'm assuming it's a seasonal thing of course? We took our kids to a Halloween USA last year, and I think they were traumatized by some of the scary costumes. LOL

Corriner, thanks for the skinny vibes! I'm needing them right now! How bout you! Going to bootcamp every day at freakin 5am for a butt kickin?! You GO GIRL! I'm totally jealous! But unless I'm working my midnights, that hour just does not exist. In fact, I'm surprised I'm even a night worker, but the fact is, I just cannot bear to get up that early to work a day shift. I'm even annoyed to get up at 8 to get Robert on the bus! Whine over. But I am in awe of you!

Now, musictchr. You were sounding a bit in the dumps about needing to lose the most here. But that's not true, really, you're just at the begining of your journey and here I've been at it for two years and have only just lost what you've lost! Plus you had to rearrange your routine when school started. Now we're on track! Just like I told Corriner above, I admire that you get up at the crack of dawn just to exercise! WOW! Your "rant" was the same as mine a few months ago. Skinny chicks who "binged" because they ate 10 crackers, bulging out of their size 0s and just felt so disgusting. But it helps put it into perspective that you're right, you said, we all struggle at this, no matter what we weigh. Are you ever afraid that we'll have the same issues? Like I don't want to bust my butt to get to 150 and hate my body. But truth is, I kinda like my body at 225, it's better than it was at 300, and I strut it a bit. I even get a bit of male attention even though I'm happily married. So I don't think I'll have the same issues. I knew a gal who was small and looked so athletic and she constantly put herself down and harped on all her flaws and I thought,how sad, I hope if I looked like her, I'd be running in the streets.

ButterflyDiva, WEEDs looking good, keep up the good work! Great job cleaning that room! I always feel better in a clean house, for example right now and the sweatpants days, the house is a mess. I gotta get motivated. I suppose SLEEPING and not pacing the floors at 4 am would help eh?

Bonita, ah the TOM woes. Thank goodness I don't have that problem (Depo shot = no TOM!) Great for you for holding on! What's your secret? I guess mine would be LOTS of fiber and protein, feeling full helps keep Bingey at bay, but then it becomes LOTS of say, fiber cereal, then the bloat. It's just so crappy that TOM comes and it takes until the NEXT tom to undo the last one.<sigh>

OMG I got everyone! :dizzy: NO WAY! Is anyone still even reading this? So I'm off today, but given this crazy insomnia, I hope I'm not sleeping all morning. I still have my RealWoman dollars to spend at Lane Bryant. I'd like to see what this whole new jeans sizing is all about.

E- GYM. Period. Must. Go. No. Excuses. It wouldn't be til after dinner but I MUST go. In fact, note to self, tell DH to make me go, no excuses, and he'll usually pep talk me there even if I don't want to go.
E- Look through cookbooks and find cool new lowcal recipe. Maybe a casserole for dinner? Something spicy or Mexican?
D- Get the WEE in, read to my kids, take the sweatpants off. Maybe an eyebrow wax would pep me up? Go to the library and find something to read, maybe I'm still in my post Harry Potter funk. Go rent HP1?

Hey. :) Chicago was amazing. We had a volleyball tournament there (we won 2 games and lost 2 games). Then we spent the last day shopping. We went to the Navy piers and Michigan Ave. I splurged a bit and bought a Tiffany's necklace (real) and a Chanel handbag (fake). I am still running, actually. I still am doing 30 minutes and trying to get out about 3 times a week. I've been alternating between treadmill and street running at the moment depending on my mood. I usually loathe the treadmill but in the cold months ahead it will be my only option. If you're planning on starting the c25k in the spring, why not create your own pre-c25k program for the winter to ease into it? You can run, I just know that you can. And not just in a crazy dream either. I believe in you!

I'm doin ok today...just woke up, i am gonna fix a salad and if there's one piece of steak left I'm gonna take it for lunch....dinner/evening snack is killing me. I have to do better....when I get home it's a free for all. i'm usually so tired that i just can't keep it together to make a healthy dinner. it's makin me nuts LOL

Morning, WEEDers! Didn't start my morning off right with the food, but I'm going to rectify that. I guess recovering from a planned cheat day isn't as easy as I thought it was going to be! Maybe I need to re-evaluate how I do them...perhaps reserve them for a restaurant meal, so I don't have any leftovers hanging around the apartment?

Anyway...my WEED for the day! Gotta get it done so I can do my homework before class! *runrunrun*

W- 100-150oz as per usual

E- Cardio Kickboxing 6-7, Step and Sculpt 7-8 (then run home as fast as possible to catch TBL!)

E- On plan for the rest of the day!

D- You're a rock star! Don't sweat breakfast this morning, you'll rock the rest of the afternoon :)

Mornings Weeders!!! Today is looking okay. I had a small bisquit and a banana for breakfast, lunch is a grilled pork chop and veggie, snack a yogurt and dinner...not sure yet...probably more grilled pork chops.

Nurse Michelle....I think the ex doesn't really want to lose me as a friend. We have talked on the phone every day for over a year. I think that besides being his girlfriend, I was his best friend. I really don't think he wants to lose that. I don't think he has the same deep, loving feelings for me but i think he really cares about me and likes to hang out with me and doesn't want to lose my friendship....at least, that's what i'm hoping. I told him we would try to be friends.

Okay, DAY OFF!! I need today. I was getting a bit cranky by the end of yesterday! went to the gym last night. got up to go the gym this morning but felt AWFUL! took some dayquil and hope I will feel better to go tonight (after swim lessons).

Michelle ~ I always read your posts Michelle! I'm going to call Spirit Halloween today and see what's up. Last year, I went in and was hired on the spot but that was later on, closer to Halloween. Allison Sweeney is a good actress (though I loathe her character). When she first started, she was chubby and people was riding her *** but I was like dude, she's 16! She just hadn't lost her baby fat yet.

Michelle - I find drinking large amounts of water really helps me to lose weight, I almost wonder if that is was part of my struggle the last 10 months (I stopped drinking as much). I do pee a lot though, my body never seems to get used to all the water - I mean it gets less but I still go a lot. As far as exercising, I used to exercise - a lot in fat. Mostly just cardo, but I would go for an hour a day and I just wasn't losing and right now I am so I just wanna stick it out for a bit - but I know I need to get back at it!

Shari - I have a starbucks card that I fill every week or two, haha. How I love my starbucks.

W - at least 6L; hoping for 7L today
E - none again today
E - no more then 1300
D - today I really want to get some work done, I also want to get my blog up to date with the last few days of food, I would also like to update Keiko's website :)

OK, I think I was totally missing the point of this thread until now. We check in every day then? I read about WEED finally too so I know what you guys are talking about.

I have lost 5 pounds since the beginning of the month. Hoping to get another 5 off by the end of the month.

W - I need to up this. I usually get in about 64 oz but I think I need more!
E - today is a walk day, 30 min minimum
E - breakfast was ok (250 cals) and I plan on eating at home for the rest of the day so I will be on plan
D - I need to organize my office to start school next week - that's right I am going back to school!

NurseMichelle - Wow, long post. LOL. My secret is, um....well, I don't really have a secret. :shrug: LOL. I don't know what I did differently this time than any other time. I ate horribly. But I did try to watch my portions this time. So instead of eating a WHOLE bag of chips, I only ate half the bag ;)

No, seriously...I did watch portions. And towards the end there I made sure to eat really small meals. Saturdays I normally eat only 1 or 2 meals (not intentionally) because I'm at the soccer field watching the bf play all day, so food doesn't really cross my mind those days. Unless we go out to dinner...then I practically ruin my diet. But this weekend we didn't.

As for today...:yikes: I haven't done well. I hardly slept last night. I didn't go to bed until 11:30, then the stupid thunderstorms woke me up at 3am. I was up for about an hour. Then the electricity went out so I had to go grab my phone and set the alarm on that. :shrug: Ugh. It wasn't fun. Then I had to get up at 5:30.

So back to the point...since I didn't get much sleep, I was late getting ready to go in the morning, I didn't eat any breakfast. By the time 10:30 hit i was starving and the caf wasn't open yet so I had some combos from the vending machine. Then the caf finally opened and I splurged and had a chick-fil-a, french fries, and mountain dew. :no: I'm still regretting all my choices today. And to top it off, today is a non-workout day, since I don't get home from school until 8.

Oh well. Tomorrow's a new day. I'm not going to do a WEED for today. I'm going to do it ahead of time for tomorrow. So here it is...
W-3 cups
E-UB, LB, Abs (10 mins each); cardio 30 minutes
E-pack my lunch...i can't just eat pistachio's all day anymore
D-Actually GET UP and work out in the morning. NO MORE EXCUSES!!
