  • I'm in for July, i'm looking for a loss of 8-10 pounds! I'm looking forward to the challenge, and hoping the accountability will help making my weightloss more steady, i've been lucky if i lose a pound a week lately, but i'm hoping with this thread things can change!

    I amgoing through my cabinets tonight to make sure there are no no-no's around but I pretty much have everything cleaned out. HOpe you all have a super weekend.

  • Hello everyone! My July goal is going to be 10 lbs. My June goal was 11 and I ended up losing 14. I cannot decide whether to make my goal losing 10 from todays weight, which is 216, or to count the 3 pound loss beyond my last month goal as a part of my 10 lb July goal, leaving me only 7 more to lose. I dont know if that made sense, but I think I will try to just lose 10 lbs. from todays weight, which is 216, so that would put me at 206 at the end of the month. Sounds good. Hope everyone has a great month!
  • I'm up for joining in here. I'm on vacation from school til the 9th so my posting will be spotty until then. I have had a horrid couple of months and am back over 200 lbs So my goal for July weight wise is to get back down to at least 199. As of yesterday that's 5 lbs.

    I surpassed my June goal by 3 lbs, surprise surprise! I have to ditto on the thread love! I don't know what I'll do without you all.

    I think I'm definitely going to need you all right now. I told you all about my mama getting that chief position in San Antonio. Well she starts July 9th which means that in about a week, the loves of my life (my mama, lil sister, and lil brother), will be 13 hours, 1 min away. I'll be joining them in December but GOD my heart hurts! My mama and stepfather are leaving in a few to go down there to look for a house and I feel sick even though they are coming back Wed. Lord knows how I'm going to feel when they actually leave for good!
  • Don't feel bad Shari. Just call them often and keep in touch! Once December gets here you'll be dreading moving all your crap! I am in the middle of moving, FINALLY got all my stuff in the new house (after 3 cars and 1 truck making 3 trips) and I am pooped. Gosh I wish I wasn't such a packrat LOL. Now I have to go through and wash all my clothes because I haven't stayed in the house I used to live at in about 2 months, and without the AC on the house got a TERRIBLE smell and all my clothes and blankets stink like mold BLLEEEHH.

    Anywhoooo wish me luck on my weigh in tomorrow...I am hoping to see 200 after all this manual labor the last 2 days!

  • oooooohhh and I have an NSV to add..I bought a pair of pants (18's NO STRETCH) online when I started losing weight..they fit me now! And my stretchy 16's fit again YAY!!! I am so glad to have all my clothes back LOL.

  • EeEEEEEK I am at 202 in the end of the day, which means I should be two pounds lighter in the morning!! AKA 200...only 1 pound short of June goal..(I weigh myself waaaaaay to often to know these fluctuations LOL)
  • Oh gosh Sockmonkey70, congrats on the weight loss!! I too saved so many of my clothes from my pre babies days and really, this summer I was like, enough is enough, I am going to get rid of all of these clothes. And...well, I do have to get rid of most of them, because they are too loose!

    I think the clothes thing and being able to wear prettier, cuter clothes has been the biggest incentive to me this time around. That and I'm much more dedicated this time around I think...hm.

    YOu too Jasonslea!! I'm sorry your family is moving away. I am a Mama's girl and I adore my husband but it was traumatic for me to move even an hour away from my Mother....I totally feel your pain.

    Welcome to the July Challangers I don't know that well...hope to get to know you better.

    I had a pretty lax few days...didn't get much working out done for three days and got back on the treadmill and pounded out my hour...it was way invigorating and I feel awesome now.

    On to July...what was my goal again? 8 pounds....here's to 8 pounds gone!!

  • I would like to join too. 10 is my July goal. I bought a pair is VS jeans in a size 10, I want them to fit by the end of the month!!

    I am going to exercise for at least 30 minutes every day, drink my water and eat my veggies!
  • Good morning everyone! I hope today finds you well. Happy Canada Day to my fellow Canadians. Well, I didn't lose a pound this week, but my hopes are up since it's now a new month! I had a glorious fruit salad on top of some plain yogurt for breakfast and now i'm about to head off and take my dog for a nice half hour walk. This evening I plan on doing the weight training and possibly a half hour jog. My mini goal for the week is to lose 2 pounds, which may prove difficult as my TOM comes around on friday. But fingers crossed. Good luck to you all, and I hope you all have a terrific sunday. It's a long weekend for us Canadians, and I tell you it's been hard not to grab hold of a beer but i've kept strong had had crystal lite.
