Aimee- How are you feeling today?

Courtnie when I did WW they sais to expect a 1-2 lb loss a week. Are you losing at all?

Jen-hat is great that your boyfriend is joining you it makres it easy for sure. When I started Atkins my bf said he would do it with me. That lasted 2 days
:(

I'm still plugging away over here. Only 20 to go but it sure feels like alot more.

Nikki - I am losing, but not as much as I feel I should be. Take last week for example, I only used 10 flex points (an extra 1000 ish calories for the week), ate my 22 points a day - that is less then 1300 calories. And exercise everyday for at least an hour. Today I am showing a .6 pounds loss. I just feel it should be more? Yesterday I saw 162.2 on the scale, witch would be a 1.2 pound loss but I dunno if I can count it. I mean something is better then nothing, I just feel it should be more. Like I am working twice as hard as I should be. I haven't lost anything for month, and maybe I didn't deserve it, but I felt some weeks I should of been...

anyway I'll stop complaing now, but at this rate its gonna be a year before I meet goal :(

Jen - I am trying to convince the bf to do WW with me too! I told him I would figure out all his points and prepackage up all his meals, I don't know if he is down with that. At breakfast yesterday I calculated his points - 22!! The boy likes to eat. I haven't read that book, never even heard of it. I am also at 28 points, go figure - we weigh within 5 pounds of eachother, heh. I am using flex points though, I think I've used 3 for my week, and today is day 4, so 1 a day approx.

Nikki - They say the last 20 pounds can be hard ones to go, this friend of mine did a TON of research about losing "old fat", basically fat thats been around for a while and told me that she found that she had to exercise 1.5-2 hours every couple of days to lose it, along with keeping up her good diet.

Courtnie - Based on what I said above, I think once a week you should go for the gold with your exercise, see if you can do 90 min to 2 hours, seems extreme, and you may get bored.. but my friend swears by it!

I am feeling stuffy in the face this morning, but no sore throat. This may be WAY too much information but I woke up in the middle of the night with an itchy ear (inside), so I went to the bathroom and used a q-tip, man, my ear let off some serious about of wax.. wonder if that had anything to do with anything. It was just really weird! I am off to shower.. bbl!

Well I did two hours one day this week, so maybe I will try that every week.

I stood on the scale after I exercise and saw 162.4 - so I think I am going to count that and go for a loss of 1 pound this week.

I got on the scale today too!!! UP 1 pound! I am waiting until Tuesday to see, but if this keeps up, I am totally bailing on the WW thing. Not impressed!

could also be because of the heat!

I might go camping for tomorrow/sunday - I think I will probably totally be screwed if I do, go way over points and gain 3 pounds - but I really wanna go camping!

Courtnie - you can go camping and stay on plan! you just gotta pack LOTS of cut up fruits and veggies, and bring low point hot dogs. Lots of prep work, but it would totally be worth it!

I am not expecting TOM - I've got 2.5 weeks until it starts, didn't have a lot of sodium, I really don't get it. I'm gonna hang in there until Tuesday though, see what happens when I weigh that day. I am ending the day at 30 points, which I am happy enough with.

Aimee- I'm sorry about the gain. But it could just be a water weight fluctuation. Hang in there.

Courtnie- Camping sounds great. As Aimee said if you prepare your food before you can stay OP.

I had a sliht gain yesterday 2 lbs which I attribute to the beer I had on the 4th. I am hoping it comes off today.

HI Ladies
Good to hear everybody is doing well.
I have been through **** i had an nervous breakdown, i did not expect to off taken it that hard. I have lost a lot of weight because of all the stress it just came troubling down on me. I am 139 now and still i can not eat or sleep. MY sister just got me some slim fast, when try to eat i vomit and i have no appetite. I do thank you for your support.

eevey - I am sorry you are having such a hard time :( We miss you here! Hang in there, and definitely try and get some food down! Slimfast is a good idea - it's got nutrients it.

Nikki - I know I've been eating too much bread lately, so I'm sure thats part of the problem - also probably not enough fibre. So I've been trying to get more veggies and less bread in! Hopefully the scale will be nice soon.

I am thinking since I have the day alone, I may head downtown, sit, look at the ocean, maybe walk a bit, drink some coffee. It's about an hour long drive to get there, but I'd rather waste the gas than sit at home alone all day. I invited one of my friends but she doesn't want to go all the way downtown, darn people! Anyways, I am going to go wash my face and get ready to go! I'll talk to you all later!

Courtnie- I hope you went camping! Tell us how it went! Did you plan it out? Or was there a little s'more binge you need to fess up to?

Nikki- You'll drop those 2lbs in no time!

Eevey- I'm sorry you're having such a rough time! I'm glad your sister is helping you out. You know we're all here for you!

Aimee- Stick with it! WW does work, but it takes time. When I did the program before it took me awhile to learn that just beacause I can calculate point values for everything doesn't make it okay for me to eat it! One time I saved all my points for the entire day, because I was going out that night for burgers and milkshakes. I was feeling faint by 2:30pm :o
There are some awesome recipes over at the WW boards. I made Cola Chicken the other night! yum!

As for me, I'm really not exercising like I should be. My dad and I are going bike riding every weekend and I train once a week, but I really need to get my butt in gear!

I did plan my food but uh... it could of been worse I guess. I ate less then normal, but WAY more points - I don't even want to figure them out, it will make me feel like ****, so I am better off to not figure them out. But I think I am going to write down the food.

Looking on the bright side, rather then eating a WHOLE muffin, I ate half... rather then eating a WHOLE tube of pringles I ate maybe 20 (each day), and only one hot dog when normally I eat two - I think the only thing that got me was the peanuts and mini chocolate bars that were sitting out... otherwise I didnt do THAT bad.

Its too bad, yesterday morning I was down even more from Friday.... but tomorrow will be up a bit I am sure.

I did get in some swimming though, even did laps!

Aimee- How was your day downtown?

Courtnie-You did good girl. smaller portions are always better then not eating and then having a eating bine becaue of denying yourself.

I had a rough weekend. I was in the pool saturday and I fell off the ladder. I strained my right arm pretty bad. I have a disability whch makes my left arm useless so I do everything with my right arm. It will be hard but I am trying to rest my right arm as much asd I can which means no exercise for the moment since I cant pull myself up the pool ladder.Then on Sunday my bf and I cleaned out the pantry and kitchen throwing away 3 big black bags worth of stuff. I still live at home and mom has been avoiding doing it so we did it. I am glad its done !
