hi everybody it seems as if u all doing a great job with ur weight ladies !!! keep it up and enjoy the summer as planned i stuck to my plan this week like glue with a just a few extra goldfish crackers and so far i feel great and hope to see some pounds lost tomorrrow but what i did last month is going to cost me too much determination and hard work for my weight loss now i have to lose about 3lbs every week to reach my goal ......ok everybody tczzzzz

Snow - I not only want to do this so that I am a hottie! (I hope I will be one..lol) I want to know that I am taking the best care of my body and that I have a healthy heart and body. I can't imagine what all of the bad food that I have eaten (and still eat) is doing to my body. I want to live a long healthy life and I know that what I am doing is the best for me. I also want self-confidence, since I have put on weight I don't have any and I can't wait to get that back!
Today so far has been great, I did a Kathy Smith dvd that focused on strength training my butt and thighs and I can feel it. I also did 100 crunches! Breakfast : chocolate chex w/ 2% milk (by the way these are nasty! I won't eat these again) Lunch: Chicken tortilla soup - w/ no tortillas - its from the best life cookbook and it is yummy!! Dinner - I am not sure yet, I am leaning towards a boca burger and salad with feta cheese. I hope you all are having a great weekend and will have a great weigh-in tomorrow!! :D |

great to hear some of responded to my question--what is different this time! A couple of things are different. 1. I was just so fed up and couldnt take it anymore. I no longer felt like a choice it felt like a reality. 2. Over the last 2.5 months I have been training myself to resist food I used to binge on. I have learned to control my hunger--I know I have eaten enough food to maintain my health. When I get hungry even though I have eaten, I drink water and that helps. The hunger wont kill me but the overeating might. 3. This week I have tested myself with my two treats--the piece of pie and the piece of pizza. Not only was I not tempted to eat more, I could have passed on those foods because it has become more important to me to lose weight than it is to indulge in food. HML: great job on posting your food and fitness. I hope it is helping. Sounds like the eating is becoming more conscious? I like your reasons--I totally agree! strawberry: great to have you back. Hope all goes smoother this time and you achieve your goals. I think one of the pluses of taking care of our diet is how you feel! sock: I cant agree with your more--I also have experienced a big change in attitude and I think it is really important. Well, I neither lost nor gained this week. Something that always seems to happen to me the week of TOM, I don't know why because I didn't cheat! Okay, well I guess I did have three beers on friday night (my first beers in 4 1/2 months!). But other than that, no cheating! I guess I can't complain though. That still leaves me at 146, 3 down from the beginning of the month. 15 days to lose 5 pounds (well technically 18 days cause i'm making my end of July my first day of vacation, August 3rd) . Possible, but not looking likely. I'll keep positive though! Good job on the 2 pounds strawberry! That's what i'm going to aim for this week.
I've come to the realisation that I really need to up the strength training especially on the lower body. Yesterday the b/f and I went clothes shopping on account of lots of my summer t's and tanks not fitting. Well, it was nice to able to fit into some mediums, although still mostly larges (I have large breasts). As for the bottoms, well I don't really seem to be budging down in size! I am still stuck at a size 8. Although I know most people lose a dress size for every 10-20 pounds (depending on your frame and where you lose of course) so i'm hoping that once i reach my goal i'm at a nice 5/6. I don't want to get any smaller than a 4 because I find in the most part that's just to skinny for my body. Well todays another week and I hope you find yourselves all ready for whats to come ahead and enjoying your day! |

Great job on changing how you view food sno, I would love to say that pizza doesn't tempt me anymore! I can say that eating just 2-3 small pieces is easy now where before it was gross how much pizza I was willing to eat :P Well as for my weight things have just been weird! 2 weeks ago I gained during camping and got back to my posted weight during the next week, then we went camping again and I was careful (in fact we got home after lunch and I jumped in the shower, when I weighed in it said 195) but we got a heat wave and TOM and suddenly I was at 198 every day! Well things improved slightly last night, suddenly some water retention went down and I am back at posted weight (basically). Sigh so 2 weeks in a row with no changes (or is it 3 hmm) I am gonna try super hard to get the scale to budge this week! I really really want to see 192 before the end of July. So I am striving hard for it, I can't wait for the day I am in the 180's again! I am so glad you are all here for me, I don't think see 180's again would seem so close and reachable without all the support. |
Hello everyone, I dropped another pound over the weekend, which makes 4 pounds loss for the week! YAY!!!!! I have lost 21 pounds so far, with 21 to go for the challenge. It seems reachable this time. I usually give up about this time, but with all the encouragement I have received.. I'm still very excited and motivated to lose more. I think it is different this time because I'm not focusing on how I'm going to look. I'm more focused on how I'm going to feel and to be the healthiest I can be. Congratulations to everyone!

:congrat: to Neesy and Strawberry! That is awesome - wtg!! For the others I think a :congrat: is still in order because at least there was no gain! That is where I am at this week, no loss but no gain so I will take it. I think my TOM is coming last night I snacked like crazy before bed. So far today: Breakfast: 3 veggie bites from morningstar Snack: Cucumber salad I will check in later! I hope you all have a great Monday!!! |
Monday weight in - 163. Back down to pre-vacation weight. Labor day goal not looking to good at this point.

Woot, down a half pound this am and I will take it!! Been a rough couple weeks and I am finally down to 195, the lowest I have been is 195.5 and I was all the way up to 198.5 for a few days, ugh!

Hey guys! Not too much to report here. Did well diet wise last week, but flunked out on the scale, causing a binge on Sunday. Put me at almost 2400 calories for that day. Uggghhh. Hopefully I can undo that damage by the end of this week. I am also noticing I have been eating way too many Saturated Fat grams. I should only be having about 15 grams and I am averaging close to 25 YUCK! I didn't even realize it! I can't wait to go grocery shopping. I need more veggies!!! Grandma's giving me some fresh blueberries and okra Thursday so I am super excited about that. ( she grows them herself)

Okay so we have 7weeks left==we can do a lot with that! My goals are to stay on plan 100% for the next 7 weeks-and I am 16/18 so far for the July mini challenge. Also, I am planning on losing 2 lbs a week--I think I can meet and surpass my original goal if I keep on plan. I want to add to exercise but must be careful because my ankle that I sprained is feeling a little achy--so maybe not right away--or do some exercise that does not involve impact like swimming or pilates. Sock: hang in there--you are doing so well--just keep going--one binge doesnt mean you can make your goals--you'll lose the binge weight in no time. We cant let the scale determine if we stay on the diet or not--I know it is hard--I was bummed out by my little one pound gain--but we can do it~! Edzard: :bravo: it feels so good to hit those milestones! I have to go--I am going to support my friend while she goes to her divorce lawyer! Sno |
