Well, I took my dog for a walk/run around the block! That's all the exercise I've had all day. But I'm headed to the Y tomorrow so that's good!

yowza, I am soooo sore!!!! but it's a good kind of pain lol....just always wanted to say that. having a good day although, i should step up the water.
hoping to squeeze off one more pound by monday's weigh in!!! hope i can manage not to over do mother's day! yikes!
well, don't know about you guys but weekends are really hard for me. I am going to try really hard to stay on track, get my exercise in and manage to at least maintain, but i really want that one more pound gone...don't know why but really floats my boat right now, know that in 1 more pound i will be down ten total! yeah!
ok, gotta run....have a great day, weekend, mother's day!!!

Hi ladies! I'm still here. The only good thing I can say about this week is that I managed to get on the treadmill 3 times (50, 30 and 45 minutes). My eating and my attitude have both been awful. I'm feeling a bit better today. Got in some quality time with the new O Magazine this morning for some motivation! It was great to come back here and see everyones' posts. Have a great weekend everyone, and Happy Mother's Day to those Mommies out there! I have a lunch and dinner planned this weekend. I'll try to exercise more and not stress too much (does that EVER happen?)!

I stress out way too much and wind up totally restircting my caloric intake on days when I do stress out. Like today. I've already exercised twice and feel my tummy growling but am just guzzling water. I'm heading out to NYC for the weekend at my Mom's place and am practicing restriction so that I won't pig out there....I'm taking along my mp3 player and am planning on a small cardio workout tomorrow in the health club in their building followed by some circuit weight training. And then Mother's Day is my bi weekly rest day anyway.

Weekends are difficult for me because of the constant activity. I've been trying to keep everything low key because I feel like it's finally time for me to take care of myself. Food wise too...weekends are hard...temptations abound with a housefull of people NOT counting calories.

Did you get to the Y? How was your workout?

I'm gearing up for my weigh in on Tuesday...hopefully the scale will have moved. Im not counting on another 4 pounds but a decent two pounds would be great! Heck, I'll even take one pound. As long as that darn number changes into a lesser one!

Tracy ~ I weigh every morning too. And sometimes I get on at night even though I KNOW it would be up since I've eaten and all.

Christine ~ I could totally do a fruit detox! I love fruit!

Well, I did make it to the y!! I took a Power Sculpting class which I love!! We works lots of areas, with weights. One thing I noticed, and I hope it's not a fluke... but I've always HATED squats...they just hurt so bad! Well, we did them today and they didn't really hurt at all :) Wow.

AND-- I still have 6 points left for the day. But I don't want to eat since it's 9 PM.
Weigh in tomorrow morning. Let's hope their scale matches mine!! I think I've hit 15 pounds AND 10% Yippee!!!

goodmorning ladies : )

Happy Saturday. I went to bed early last night and got a good nights sleep so I am feeling rested today. It was another beautiful day yesterday, dh and I went for an evening walk and then cooked on the grill. I had my so called beef night which I enjoy but it always sits a bit heavy in my tummy. TOnight we are going out to this really quaint seaside town, we have decided to eat something healthy here at home prior to leaving. Tomorrow night I have fish planned for dinner. Been working hard all week so I want to take it through the weekend. THurs night I had some chicken for dinner so basically I have been following the same plan as I added low fat protein to the fruits and veggies 2 or the 3 nights.
IT's been a good week, now I just need to take it through the weekend and yes, the weekends are often where I find the most temptation. DIliginetly planning my meals, etc through the weekend is what really helps to keep me in line.......plus that ever looming weigh day on mondays! lol HOw is everyone else doing? good luck to those of you weighing in this weekend.


flowingair, my dh is faced with the same problem. He said they place these sweets and things in a big basket by the coffee machine and he goes down for his coffee and is so tempted! He said it really makes it hard because they are sitting right there next to you. He brings in healthy snacks, fruits etc. and nibble throughout the day so as not to be so tempted by the desserts they place in the coffee lounge. He said if he is not too hungry when he goes down for his coffee, it makes it easier for him to pass up the temptation. I think it's great you started exercising again : )

HI Lekhika, I hope your feeling better today and yes indeed it is a new day! I think the egg you had was a nice protein boost and you satisfied your choc. craving (especially during this time) with a small amount versus going wild and overdoing it. Try not to be so hard on yourself, it sounds like your doing very well and working hard..........you got in 2 workouts too which is super. I hope you have a great time in NYC with your mom :)

tracy, weekends have always been the hardest for me, planning out my weekends diligently is what helps me tremendously, as well as keeping up with my workouts. Your doing great, keep up the good work. 10 is a big accomplishment and by all means, let that boat float! :)

I hope everyone is having a great weekend so far. Mine has been pretty fun. We bought a huuge kiddie pool to lounge around in and it is so fun. I feel like a little kid. I also bought a swimsuit YAY.

I did sneak a peak at my weight yesterday and I am down to 208, but hopefully I can make another pound beforetomorrow morning's weigh in LOL. I want to make goal sooooo bad!

Have a wonderul Mother's Day, all you hot momma's! :)

Well, the weekend is off to a good start, I got in 50 minutes on the elliptical trainer in my Mom's gym and some free weight training too!! I feel much better about the fried cutlets I ate for breakfast. Well not really, I'm still obsessing about those but...well....what can I do now right?

I'm planning to take tomorrow off but will likely go another round on the trainer for 20 minutes at the very least.

I'm trying to be good and eat healthy but it's very difficult going at Mom's place. We're planning on taking the kids out to the Central Park Zoo later on if all goes well.

Hey everyone! I want to join this challenge for extra motivation for the month of May! I know I'm a bit late in the game but I'm still pumped!

I currently weigh 168 and my goal is 165 by the end of May! I'll do my weigh-ins on Mondays to help me keep on track over the weekend.

god didn't have a very good diet day today (its always the saturdays ALWAYS) kept snacking on chocolate spread and apples while baking some cakes and it would have been irresponsible to not taste test one or two of them.;)

just checking in. good eating day today....
 
i was good today. it was hard not to be, we are refinishing our kitchen floor, so can't cook inside. only cooked on the grill or ate cold stuff....the grill died today and i was going to order pizza, but dh told me how to fix it and I am glad I didn't order the pizza. Didn't get much in in the way of 'exercise' but did take a short walk to the store. then, we did some yard work and house work. plus with doing the kitchen, i have to walk outside and around the house to get to separate parts of the house....ugh! so, that was my day in a nutshell. have more planting and stuff to do, so will be doing that tomorrow. I was kinda bummed, pulled out my summer clothes and stuff from last summer still fits (lol!):( I had forgotten this, but at the end of last summer we moved to a house about 1/3 of the size we'd been in, so i ruthlessly got rid of anything that didn't fit, right at that moment. I had thought I had a pair of sz 16 shorts, and wanted to try them on and see how close they were to fitting. but i got rid of them...oh well, i promised myself in a few more pounds i would go try some on on just to see....
well, must get going. have a great weekend all! if i don't make it on tomorrow have a great mother's day to all you moms!

hey tracyg at least you're not to big for your summer clothes, thats a mini-goal in itself.

ugh has anyone tried that florette salad in ther bag just had some without washing it first and it tasted like disinfectant blargh :P
