  • aimee- unfortunately, im not going to LA, she came here. but i never did dig the whole LC scene, its just not me, yknow? that reminds me, there was this house for sale there, and the HOLLYWOOD sign was like right in the backyard. imagine that. but it came with like a 5+ million dollar price tag. enjoy ur weekend.

  • Hi everyone-


    I am kind of annoyrd today. My jeans ripped last week so I had to go buy a new pair last Saturday. Well Last saturday I weighed 163 and today I am 160.0. So I had a 3 lb loss from Saturday. My frustration is I put my new jeans on for the first time and my panties are showing. The pants are kind of falling off in back. Everytime I buy pants this happens. My boyfriend thinks it is because I have a tiny waist and big butt. Does anyone else experience this?

    Oh and I can't find a belt to sabve my life. The one I have isnt tight enough anymore and others even in a size 14 don't fit. I m totaly boogled today.

  • nikki - Get a men's belt, they are nicer! I used to get women's belts all the time, and noticed they ripped really easily, so I converted YEARS ago! I haven't bought a woman's belt since I was like 14 years old, heh. As for the jeans issue, I don't have that same one, mine is more like, why oh why are they SO long in the rise! They come up to my boobs, or it feels like it, low rise has been my favorite trend because now pants actually sit at my waist!

    Rosario - If your sister is from LA, thats means you've been there! Heh, thats was my logic on that one. I don't know that clubbing in my scene anymore (altho it truely used to be), but I'd just love to see all those places for real. Yikes 5 million? Thats just crazy! I think the houses where I live are overpriced (500,000 - 1+million). It's not even like it's THAT beautiful where I live. We live on a mountain, with a view of the city and more mountains, now give me some ocean view, and that would be worth that price tag for me!

    Well ladies, my mom arrives today and then we are off to Seattle tomorrow morning, so I may not get another chance to post until Monday night! If not, have a great weekend!!

  • hi ya all. I'm working at getting back to normal today. The holiday was fun but I'm feeling kinda icky from what I ate. I hope all of you had a nice holiday weekend.

    Brandy/ Courtnie-I understand the feeling icky. I ate alot this weekend. Today I started atkins though and tonight I feel better. I am thinking of the weekend as the last meal lol.


    I did good on atkins today. I am very excited to be back on low carb. I feel better already.

  • Hey ladies! I am back from Seattle, it was a long weekend, I am SO SO tired! We did tons of shopping, lots of visiting, and the dinner wasn't really all that bad. It was MUCH more casual than I thought, we were the only ones there, and we had a picnic type dinner. A little visiting, my mom did most of the talking, so that was good. Better than I expected.

    I am SO tired, so I'm going to go lay down, I will talk to you ladies tomorrow!

  • Morning all. Just checking in to say I'm still not back on track but maybe today will be better. I've got a full day planned so that usually helps.

    I think I might be buying a road bike this weekend. Gonna go talk to the guys some more this afternoon.

    I'm new to this Challenge and am excited to join in. I currently weigh about 172 and my goal is to my 160 by June 5. I eventually would like to get to to 150 as my longer-term goal. I (try to) log my food intake on Fitday and I walk at least and hour every day and I try to also do some jogging or swimming as well.

    Just stopping in to say hello! I hope everyone is doing well! I took a week off of exercising after my fitness test, so now it's time to get my butt back in gear. Yay! Has anyone tried the Nike+ ipod thing? You get the special shoes and put the sensor in them and it helps you track your distance and time? I've been thinking about a running incentive and that just might be the ticket.

    Aimee- I've decided to be volunteer for bloomsday. I don't know yet where I will be along the course, but I'll let you know

  • I am eating better and drinking more water, day 2 - and I feel better already! I feel like I spent all day peeing yesterday and this morning the scale was down over 4 pounds - 165 - not bad, I am sure there is still some water and its TOM so maybe I didnt gain too much from my week of binging!
