  • WHAT IS WRONG WITH ME? I keep saying I want to lose weight, I do good for a few days then do bad... then I say I want to lose weight, eat good for a few days.... then bad... you get the idea!

    My goal is to come here again AT LEAST ONCE A DAY! I am staying with it this time, OMG I SWARE! I wanted so badly to be 130 for my 22nd birthday, well that wont be happening, but I would like to see 155 for August 10. So, yesterday was a good day, today is right on track, just have to make it through this week. Once the scale starts going down again I think that will help me stay on track. Its funny how by it going up it makes you fall off track!

    Don't worry the same thing happened to me for along time, but checking in here will help a lot, try and find the time to do so every day to keep yourself focused, and like you said when the scale starts going down you will be on your way.

    As for me after my blip back up to 155 last week this week I am down again to 151. I will see 149 by next wednesday mark my words.

    How is everything today good i hope.

    I decided today that i will not weight myself everyday becase it is driving me crazy, one day i am 147 the next day i am 150 , i dont know what i am doing wrong. So today i am 150 again.

  • Weighing yourself everyday can be dangerous (um still guilty of it, its like an addiction). For a while it would drive me nuts because depending on what I ate i would fluctuate from 6-8 pounds differance, one time it was like 11 pounds arghh. Then I discovered I am intolerant to wheat, so if I ate alot I would bloat up. Still working on going completely wheat free but for now my intake is WAY lower. The worst was before watching what I ate if I had a drink or two it would shoot me way up, grain based alcohol ugh! So just know your not alone and its all probably just food based, salt, mild allergy or something like that.
  • Hey Ladies! I am still doing pretty good, exercising regularly, but it's only been 5 days now. But I am planning the exercise right into my days and so far its been working out.

    Eevey - yah our summer is taking a LONG time to arrive, but it's true about the winter - we have a mild one. Although this year we had this weird cold snap with tons of snow - it was chaos!! Because I live up a mountain, we had to park half way up it and walk home, no one here buys winter tires, and the plows didn't come by too often. It was crazy. Weighing everyday can drive yah crazy, I still do weigh everyday, but only count one of those as my WI per week.

    Nikki - I am still doing pretty good, not the best with my diet - so I am trying to eat lots of smaller meals instead to try and compensate for the types of foods I'm eating. I am not perfect in the South Beach way, but I am doing pretty decent overall. Glad to hear your little weight blip went away!

    Courtnie - check in for today!!! How are you doing today so far?

  • I am doing good! Thought not AS good as planned, I had a lunch packed with spagetthi squash and other veggies and stuff but instead we went for sushi! and while I had a bit of everything, it was just a bit so not all that bad! I also had some coffee cream in my coffee this morning (wouldnt have if I knew we were going for sushi). I am trying to work a small treat in each day (trying to keep it under 200 cal) to help with the binging on weekends.

    The scale this morning said 167 - blah. I will cry if I see 170 again, at one point I saw 157 a couple months back... how depressing! But anyway, pick up and move on and stay on track.

    I dunno what dinner is tonight, but I will be good the rest of the day. Probably skip my afternoon snack (celery and peanut butter) as I am pretty full from sushi. I road my bike this morning for 65min - but I wonder if I need to do something else? maybe go for a roller blade or a run instead? I wouldnt burn as much calories but they would be different calories, anyway I am going to really stay on plan for the next two weeks doing what I am doing and we will see what happens.

    I am semi counting calories, I was very hard core about it for a long time but I am trying to ease off a bit. Have veggies and protien with every meal and do at least 30 min on my bike a day. I also told myself I was going to do sit ups and push ups but havent done that yet.... lol
  • Courtnie - I do my pushups and abs just before bed - have been trying to make it a routine, sometimes I do it during commercials. And I always mark things on my calender too, makes me feel productive!

  • Just a check in, yesterday was pretty good food wise, I did have one drink and 10 cheesies or so, but not bad at all!

    Today is off to a good start and I got a good lunch/snacks packed!

    Aimee how do you like Turbo Jam can you buy this at Walmart or do you have to order it? I am looking for another Ex DVD mine are getting boring.


    My daughter came second for valedictorian, she stayed in her room all night she is such a perfect inst, i did not know what to say to her so i told her i am glad she was even nominated she is so beautiful. My son just got 3 touch down 's in his last football game if he gets 3 more this season he will have broken the record he plays for Toronto. I just made an appointment for Resalyn Treatment on the 5 of JUly has anybody had this done I am a little scared, but i am all about me this summer with the help from you guys.

  • Hey gals!! I went to the beach yesterday and definitely didn't do as good as I wanted, but I managed to stop at 1 alcohol drink, and a hot dog and onion rings - everything else was good I got burnt - on my legs, back, shoulders, and face, oh and arms. Basically I didn't burn in maybe a couple of spots.. not good. And it definitely doesn't feel nice!

    eevey - London Drugs was selling them - which is a west coast store, other than that I think you have to buy it from one of those As Seen on TV stores or online. It's one of those infomercial things.

    Eevey- The interview was ok but I decided I dont want to work for them if the offer.

    Aimee- A day at the beach sounds divine. I hope your burn heals real soon. I tan but the few times I did burn it is not fun.

    My earing is still on track since Sunday I have been on induction with no cheats. My TOM is due any moment so I feel bloated

  • Nikki - I dont know if you call it FULLY back on track. But I am controlling myself much more - for example, just 10 cheesie. I totally didnt want the drink last night, but I had to try it - I dont drink very often so I thought one would be okay. Of course the scale was up this morning!

    We will see how this weekend goes, during the week is pretty good for me usually its the weekends when I slip. I must say I am happy I have avoided the big tub of M&M Cookies from Costco on the table, haha. Tomorrow morning we are going for a BBQ breakfast, other then that the weekend should be good.

    I bought a drink today, and it is so fantastic! I am in love! It is Diet Lipton White Tea with Rasperry! mmmm

  • no more small steps, lately it seems even small steps make me gain, it is crazy! I know I dont eat enough to gain 3 pounds but I gain it! and it never goes away!
