I had a cereal binge today. I feel bad I had about 1000 calories in a sitting :(

Of all things I had a fruit "binge" today. Could have been worse but still...eh. Lots of fruit.

8 granola bars.....I picked them apart so I didn't have to eat the rice krispies part. Still a lot of calories, though:o

I can not believe that I binged! I have been doing so well for so long.
Today I started out well, with fruit and yogurt for breakfast and a bowl of Special K cereal for lunch. I had carrots and microwave popcorn for snacks. But, it did not end so well. :( I just ate a huge piece of Boston cream cake, an individual bag of cheetos, a piece of fried chicken (which was not even that great), a bagel with cheese, and an entire pepperoni and mushroom pizza. I feel very sick right now. I have been under so much stress lately. I just started a new semester of grad school. Not that stress is ever an excuse... There are 365 days in a year, and tomorrow is a new start. I just wish that I new what happened! I just tried to exercise, but I feel too sick right now. I really appreciate this thread. :) I would really like to attend an OA meeting in my area, but I am just so nervous about it. I am not sure if the meeting times will work with my schedule. |
ughhhh I feel so sick. It must be midterms and papers...but I just binged majorly. Ughhh. I had a really big dinner and was super full...and then right after I had about half a loaf of banana bread and 2 cookies (the kind that are abnormally big) my stomach :( I'm very disappointed with myself. :mad:

i had just finished a good dinner...and then i ate 2 small bags of banana chips, a granola bar, and a small cup of cheerios. probably about 300 calories. :(

On the weekend, I had an extravagent 3 hour dinner that consisted of 2 appetizers, a main, a dessert, 1/2 litre of white wine and an espresso-i think i still feel full...the whole dinner felt like a massive binge, different though because I was sharing it with friends. The last two nights, I have had a good dinner-but like clock work, at 9 or 10 at night-I start wanting to munch. Chocolate chips and some kind of bread and cheese-without fail, this is my wierd binge pattern... *sigh* I would like to just be done after dinner, or satisfied with a cup of tea before bed. But I always start to get munchy once dinner is over-or if I have had a couple of drinks around or after dinner time, watch out! Grrr...:mad: :mad: :mad: |
Does anyone else find that they binge during PMS? I knew that PMS played a role in it with me (I am a big emotional eater in general, unfortunately) but journalling the last few months and making some notes on my calendar made me realize that this is the 3rd month in a row that I binged big time on Cycle Day 20.
It made me feel a little better to pinpoint that, but it doesn't help the end result. This weekend I turned 30 and I didn't even allow myself a pc of cheesecake I wanted, yet yesterday I went on a rampage and ate everything I could in my pantry. Tonight I am eating peanut butter on a spoon dipped in brown sugar ... ugh. All this hard work to lose 10 pounds before my trip is going to be reversed if I keep this up! I feel just terrible. |
does a whole container of orange juice count as a binge?
On days when I barely move the whole time, I feel like I binged even if I eat a normal 3 meals and snacks totaling 300:| What I really need is SLEEP! |

Horrible day. I just kind of spent the entire day eating sugary junk and coffee. Horrible. I feel gross and all out of sorts, and I know I just ate tons of calories, even if I don't feel over stuffed or anything. Just ugh. |
my first binge last week was 7 cups of cheerios dry and then two days ago i had 2 squares of chocolate, a luna bar, and a granola chewy bar.

I am New to the forum. Just thought I would put it all out there on the table & hopefully to somehow keep myself in check.
This Morning I had my box of cereal out but, I seen the valentines cake and cupcakes sitting out on the counter. I grabed a fork and started in on the cake after having 2 pieces I also had a cupcake. @ Lunch time I had a bowl of Chicken noodle soup ( the kind with carrots & celery) & a grilled cheese. After lunch I had 2 peanutbutter lovers cookies and some more cake. For dinner I had 2 pieces of Chicken with the skin on , a piece of coconut cake & another peanutbutter lovers cookie. All day I Kept telling myself " Jennelle you have celery and peanut butter make some ants on a log , don't eat that cake, don't eat that cupcake , don't eat that cookie!" Oh well, Friday is a new day I am going to try my best to not eat thoes sweets tomorrow! Wish me luck! ~Jennelle |

Went to Whole Foods on my birthday yesterday (binge store of choice). Got sushi, huge fruit salad, quinoa salad, veggie biryani, and some normal salad. Felt disgusting, even though it was "healthy" food. Seemed like way too much for one meal. For me at least.
