Default Need some moral support

I was really proud, i lost 2.5 lbs this week past week, despite birthday cake, brunches and a dinner out. I did my workout and was doing well on my WW points until around 3 or 4. By 4:30 i was ravenous and ate a bunch of snack foods (maybe 400 calories worth) and then went over to my bf's at 6 and ate dinner. Had the last slice of b-day cake at 8, and went to the market for some fresh fruit. Made a pit stop at the deli and bought another slice of birthday cake and ate it . Please help me reaffirm that tommorow can be a good day, and this can be a good week despite my slip up. I want to do well, but sometimes the conversations i have with my bf, especially with his help about my dieting, make me anxious. And sometimes i just really want more cake, you know?

Smile Cake Bad - Skinny Good

Ok, how was that for preaching,,,,,Cake Bad - Skinny Good!
I had a piece of "volunteer appreciation" cake today at work- and some high fat smoked oysters. In penance,, or inspiration tonight - I suffered through maybe 15 mnutes of a workout tape. So we're all human. The bad with the good.

Just move on and start tomorrow fresh again. So you are not perfect - at least you are reaching out for help and you are strong enough to know that you need help. That's why you are here on this website. And just make one or choice different choices tomorrow. Water instead of Coke. Lean Cuisine instead of McDonalds. And if you manage to work out then you're ahead of the game. You can do this!

Yeah, I'm having one of those days...one of those weeks, actually. Just get back on track...that's what I'm doing. Hopefully. We try, right?

Hey, donīt worry: tomorrow is a new day, a new start!

As long as you donīt take your slip yesterday as a reason to give up, everything will be ok.

Just a question, maybe a got it wrong: you said that your boyfriend triggered the binge, or??
I am just asking because I had my problems with other people who want to help with my diet- their intentions were good, but my reactions was like.... I have a major problem with people who are telling me what to eat...

Keep your chin up and move on!!

Well, my boyfriend didn't trigger the binge, but he suggested i go to the store, and he was right, i did need some more fruit for snacking, instead of the pre-packed 100 cal snack pack type things. I know i have a really hard time going to the store when i am in certain "moods" and sure enough, the bakery case called my name.

Try allowing yourself to actually eat another meal - like some chicken. If you're gonna splurge then allow yousekf to just eat period - and if you eat protein like chicken - it's better for you. I tend to binge when I am hungry but feel like I'm not allowed another meal because I already ate. Fool yourself.
