Hi Everybody!
Yesterday evening, my binge beast escaped, briefly, and ran around my kitchen eating up all the healthy stuff he could find! I gotta say, on the positive side, that my beastie doesn't even crave fast food or typical "junk" food , he just LOVES

to eat
big quantities of healthy stuff. Once again, I've dragged his overfed, hairy butt back to his cage! Slammed the door and double padlocked it!
One of the hardest things, for me, is to not leave the beast out of his cage once he escapes. The all-or-nothing mentality is hard to overcome. Well, I've messed up, why not REALLY mess up?!?!? Then the next day I have thoughts of starving myself to make up for it. Bad, bad, BAD idea!
Sigh, I guess many of you also have similar inclinations?
Ok, today is a NEW day! We can all do this! Food is NOT the boss of me!!!!!
Sweetpea~I caged the beast, but he still escapes sometimes! I'm sorry to hear you're having a tough time, but I'm glad to know that you are not giving up the fight! I gotta tell ya----I just adore your avatar! What a sweet lookin' pooch!
Kate~Congrats of being binge-free! Hope your head and feet feel better soon!
"Oh, I have a question: Does anybody else has that sudden weight gain 7-9 days before getting menstruation? Or just gaining weight the day it starts?
I gained 2 pounds and THE DAY WHEN I WILL FEEL AWFUL will be 6 days, so I wondered if that could be the reason. Itīs always that way, but I wondered if it wasnīt just weight gain because of binging in the past....."
Yes! I also have a weight gain about a week prior to AF (aunt flow AKA menses)
Harpo~I read your confession

in purger thread. I'm still glad to see you HERE! You can do this!
Scooter~WTG on avoiding a binge! Food SCREAMS my name sometimes. Just try to ignore it! I do this best by physically distancing myself---avoiding the kitchen.
Ellis~WOOHOO on being binge-free! YAY! You can do this! The 4lbs are MELTING as I post this.......
Excellent idea on the dreadmill! What I've started to do to encourage me is to ONLY allow myself to read while walking on the dreadmill.
That is a HUGE incentive for me cause I live to read. I walk at a slow pace and get caught up in the book. Before I know it, I've done an hour!
Lucky~
Sorry to hear the demon

vending machines have learned your name! One way to keep 'em quiet is to starve them by leaving all of your change at home. They can't harass you if you don't have the money they desire!
